After the trial, I went out and received numerous compliments about my hair and make-up. I was so obsessed with my hair/make-up, and I am still in love my hair extensions. e sent the dates that worked. She received a response, again weeks later, asking what time on that date. And once the bride sent her response and she never received a reply. On the date of what was suppose to be the bride's trial (mind you, the date was confirmed, not the time), I called Mon Sheri Beauty, who was in the middle of a shoot and asked if we could send her details about the wedding. The bride already had sent the details for her wedding and all information necessary to book the trial via email. She even confirmed the date of the trial which was that date this phone call took place. Mon Sheri Beauty did not even have the decency to call, text, or email that that date was not available or she double-booked or whatever. Then, she texted the bride back (days later after this phone call, of course) saying that the person who was suppose to work with her, that lady's husband passed away that week and that she was looking into a replacement. I am honestly sorry for the loss, but Mon Sheri Beauty should have contacted the bride and let her know way sooner, rather than having the bride make that initial contact. We would have been totally understanding if Mon Sheri had contacted us and let us know the situation. The bride lives in another state and only had that one week for the trial appointment (which Mon Sheri was also notified about). Rather than working with us to figuring everything out, they pretty much did not communicate at all and left it to us to keep making the initial contact each time. The way she handled this was totally unprofessional and unbecoming of a company that apparently has all these awards on theknot.com. The bride was fed up so we didn't bother with a trial date again. What's really surprising and what has me so worked up is that I worked with this company before and they were the sweetest to work with, which is why I recommended them to the bride. It really upset me that my recommendation was such a waste. I hope they never put anyone else through this.

The trial was so much fun, Sheri listened to my vision and ideas and also gave a little advice and input which was very much appreciated because I was initially a little undecided on whether I wanted an updo or half up. I had a pretty large bridal party (9 bridesmaids) and 3 mothers to take care of, and Sheri’s team was up for the challenge. The day of the wedding was so much fun and Sheri just wanted me to have an amazing and completely stress-free day. She adjusted to the few last minute changes I made from the trial to the wedding day, and my hair and makeup looked beautiful. All of my bridesmaids were also extremely happy with her entire team – they were fantastic! Our ceremony was outside on a lake and my hair stayed perfectly in place the entire day! I cannot thank Sheri and her team enough for their excellent work. I would highly recommend Sheri and her team. Sheri is not only an amazing talent, but an amazing person as well.

She listens to what you like and makes suggestions to match you hair type/style/face coloring etc. The morning of my wedding I was beyond exhausted (as I got NO sleep the night before...nerves) and her and Danielle showed up and we just all relaxed and chatted like it was girls spa day. We had a lot in common and got comfortable talking to each other more like friends as opposed to a vendor. I told myself to meet other makeup artists for trials just so I wouldn't have any doubts but I ended up wasting my time and money because Sheri is literally amazing at what she does! I am certainly not the most beautiful woman on earth and I tend to have low self esteem sometimes but on my wedding day, I felt like I looked gorgeous because of the hair/makeup Sheri did. The day of my wedding Sheri and her team showed up to the hotel at 3:30am (we had a 11:00am ceremony) to make sure we were all ready on time. She was there on time with a smile and was her happy self even though it was so early and I had a lot of people to get ready. It was myself, 7 bridesmaid, a jr. bridesmaid, a flower girl and 3 moms. They kept everything moving so smoothly that we actually had time before the photographer got there. It's hard enough to have to wake up that early and get that many girls ready, but Sheri did it no problem! Getting ready on the morning of your wedding day is so exciting and Sheri really helped make that experience for me everything I hoped it would be. ll to Nicole (hair) and Liz (makeup). The process to get there, however, was not as good. I went for my first hair and makeup trial and left unsatisfied. My makeup looked good but during the hair trial, the stylist continued to critique my mom’s hair. The critiques were unprovoked and unwanted. It was completely unprofessional and although my mom took it in stride, I was not happy with the experience or with how she did my hair. Sheri did agree to find me another stylist and thankfully it wound up working out well in the end. Regarding the makeup trial, I liked the way it looked and asked to move forward with booking the makeup artist while trying to lock in another hair stylist. Sheri agreed and a month later I was told she could no longer do my makeup because a family wedding had been planned for the same day (only a month away). Now, I understand things come up and I can be flexible. I was disappointed but willing to work with her on figuring it out. I was supposed to have my hair trial on the day I found out I needed a new makeup artist. On top of finding out I was starting from scratch again with both, the hair trial got cancelled because the timing for her didn't work anymore. I was looking forward to that day not only to hopefully finalize my hair stylist, but because I was going in for a dress fitting. I thought it would be great to have my hair done and see what it would all look like. With the appointment cancelled, Sheri rescheduled my makeup trial with Liz so I was able to accomplish something. The trial started off awkwardly as Sheri never explained what had happened just hours before to the new makeup artist. Innocently and unknowingly, she called me another “late planner” while we were doing the trial. The awkwardness could have been avoided… The good news was that my makeup trial with Liz was great. I was so happy with the job she did, and she was wonderful to work with. A week later, I finally got a hair trial set and I really liked how it turned out. The bad news had finally ended. All in all, in spite of Sheri I was very satisfied with the end result of my hair and makeup. Liz and Nicole were phenomenal and I would use them any time. However, if I couldn't have Liz or Nicole, I WOULD NOT use Mon Sheri Beauty again. If you use Mon Sheri, please make sure to keep your records straight regarding pricing and what is included in the package. I asked what the name of the lip stain was that Liz used on me during the trial and Sheri told me not to worry that I could buy it from her on my wedding Day. I looked back at the contract and saw that it was included in the bridal package. After I sent an email back with the contract highlighted, Sheri agreed to have it available at no cost. Just be weary!

I wanted. She is so personable and fun that I was at ease right away and was able to relax and enjoy the experience. She took all of the thoughts I had and created the PERFECT hair and makeup. Even though I wasn't sure what I wanted, SHE apparently did! If I could've imagined how I should like in my wedding day, it would've been exactly what she created. I am so excited to work with her! She is VERY reasonably priced, and able to accommodate the 15 people getting hair and makeup the day of. If you haven't tried her, you're missing out!!
