I cannot recommend Monahime Beauty enough! I really wanted a natural look for my wedding and Michelle did an incredible job enhancing my natural features while still making me feel glamorous, elevated, and beautiful. I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup and both lasted throughout the entirety of my wedding and a very sweaty after party :) I was a pretty indecisive bride when it came to my hairstyle and Michelle was so helpful and patient as we worked through numerous different style options. Michelle also did my hair and makeup for my rehearsal dinner, where I wanted to wear my natural hair (long 2c curls). Michelle did an unbelievably beautiful job enhancing my curls, styling them in a gorgeous half-up hairstyle, and eliminating my typical frizz.
Not only does Michelle have immense talent when it comes to makeup and hair, she is also the exact type of person you want in the room the morning of your wedding. She brought such a calm and confident energy to my services and it was so much fun hanging out with her. Through working with her, it is clear that Michelle cares deeply about listening to her clients and making them feel like their most beautiful and confident selves on their wedding day.
Michelle also works with an incredible team who deserves their own special shout out. I had nine bridesmaids who all got their hair and makeup done the morning of the wedding. All of my girls looked incredible and it was clear that each artist listened to the specific requests of my friends. My bridesmaids could not stop talking about how nice their artist was and they all looked so beautiful. The whole morning went so smoothly, despite the large number of services, and that is thanks to Michelle's incredible organization and scheduling skills. She truly made the whole morning stress free!

But somewhere along the way I discovered something I was not expecting - that this work is about so much more than hair and makeup.
It is about the moment a bride looks in the mirror and that confidence just radiates. The way she stands a little taller, smiles a little wider. That moment never gets old and honestly, it is everything to me.
I am a perfectionist by nature and I genuinely cannot let a bride leave my chair with anything less than her absolute best. Nearly 15 years of experience, a deep love for the craft, and a whole lot of heart go into every single wedding morning I am trusted to be part of. I do not take that lightly - not even a little. ♡
