Zach and his team did an amazing job of perfectly capturing our wedding day. The initial consultation was great to learn about Monarch's photography styles and how the day would progress; Zach was very attentive in listening to what we were looking for and made great suggestions along the way. The day of the wedding, Zach and his team captured all the special moments we could have hoped for and even some shots we weren't expecting. The editing of the photos was beautiful and he got our photos back to us ahead of schedule. Thanks for great work Zach!

Zach was outstanding! When the morning of the wedding arrived, Zach was on time and professional. Most importantly, he was flexible. The bridesmaids and I were running late and as I, the bride, was very stressed. Zach and his assistant adjusted their plans to make sure we got all the photos we wanted and had fun doing it. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and made it to the church on time. We loved Zach's energy during the portraits and group shots as well. He also takes the time to make sure the image is perfect. Additionally, Zach worked VERY well with ALL the vendors, wedding party and family. He keeps it fun but efficient! We could not have been more pleased to have him in our "village" of vendors. You will not be disappointed.

Scott was the best! He helped us every step of the way from engagement photographs to working within our timeline to being such a professional and energetic person during wedding day! His assistant Cody was also such a nice guy and I felt very comfortable in front of the camera with these two! We saw previews of the photos of our day on their camera at the time since our photos are obviously not ready yet (3 weeks ago), and the previews were gorgeous! The way they capture light in their photographs is truly remarkable and creates such a romantic feel. The best decision we made during our wedding planning was hiring this studio!!

We used the Monarch Studio, as a recommendation from the White Room, and could not be more thrilled! We have not seen the final products, but were able to see a few sneak peaks from the camera. Zach was very knowledgable of the area, and we lucked out our second shooter was Scott who was great. They were very organized, worked well together, and aided in the day running smoothly. Thank you for all your help, answering questions, and leading the day very professionally on the day of our wedding.

For years I have been admiring Zach's photography work on Facebook, and I promised myself that if I ever got married, I would ask Zach to be my photographer. We ran track and cross country together in high school, and he was one of my favorite people because of many reasons but mostly because of his great sense of humor and kind heart. We were even prom dates! From the day I called him to ask him to photograph our wedding to the very end of the reception, I felt like we were in the best of hands. No detail was missed! He guided us through the scheduling of the wedding day and offered advice when we asked, but he always insisted that it was my husband and my day, so we had the final say. On the day of the wedding, he captured the bridal and groom party getting ready by working so hard to meet his scheduled timing to catch certain moments at two different venues. His attention to detail and and continuous momentum to capture the most precious moments until the very end of the reception had us all thankful for all of his hard work. He was so easy to work with and always had us laughing. I have never seen any photographer work as hard as he did, and I have been to many weddings. If you are looking for the best photographer with a strong work ethic, big heart and awesome sense of humor, I recommend Zach Thomas with Monarch Studios. The pictures are amazing, and we will cherish them for a lifetime!

I will have to work with these guys again, Scott and Cody, when the next occasion arises. These guys were awesome. We have not seen our wedding pictures as of yet, we can’t wait!!!! We were married at The White Room January 14, 2017. They kept with our wedding day timeline and were very good at keeping in touch with each other while we were out doing pictures so Jason and I did not accidentally run into each other. We never had a chance to do engagement photos but we are planning a small vacation again in St. Augustine (as we do several times a year) with hopes of setting up another photo session with Scott at his availability.

Zach was amazing. My photographs turned out beautiful. He made the big day so easy and effortless. He took so many awesome pictures throughout the ceremony/ reception and I barely noticed him there. It was nice not having someone in your face the whole night. Our personal shots came out soooo great. Married friends have told me how jealous they were of our pictures. I ordered a album through him as well and it was put together wonderfully. It took the stress of having to put a wedding book together. He printed all the photos as well and gave me a thumb drive. Zach Thomas is an artist when it comes to photography. From start to finish, Zach was prompt, professional, and overall an amazing photographer!! He was HIGHLY recommended by close family friends and my venue. I am a bride who got married in FL but lived in Seattle, WA at the time. It was crazy, but Zach made it so easy for me. He was always quick to respond my text and answer any questions. He made me feel so comfortable on the day of wedding, I didn't have a care in the world. He even came to my rehearsal dinner and helped out till the officiant arrived! He is a truly talented photographer and should go with him.

I had a destination wedding in St. Augustine and I discovered Zach through my wedding venue, The White Room (which is amazing too! It's reviewed separately). My event planner, Meghan (also wonderful!) recommended him and after checking out his website I was sold. We had a telephone conversation which clinched the deal. He was sociable, warm, professional and open. We even had the pleasure of meeting him before our wedding on his way down to Miami. We talked about what my thoughts and wishes were and Zach shared some of his, as well as the way he worked. Throughout the wedding preparations he touched base and answered any questions. He seems perpetually happy and one can tell how much he cares about his work and the people with whom he works. Zach's able to engage you and your guests and to get the best out of all. He and his assistant, David, added to the fun of our celebration. Zach sent us a 3 minute slideshow that chronicled and captured the joy of our entire day! The gallery he put up on line is fabulous. Our prints the same. Zach's hard work, humor and direction are priceless. His work is spectacular! He's not only creative but has "the artists eye" and he captures "the moments and the memories". I could not have been happier with my photographer! Get him if you can! :))

Zach did a SUPER PROFESSIONAL JOB !! The special effect photos (at slow shutter speeds) are fantastic. A very nice and pleasant person to deal with. He got GREAT pictures "from the sidelines" without intruding on the church service - that was really important to us. The website slide show is great - we emailed the link to guests and friends - they all love it. I haven't seen the actual album, but our daughter says it is absolutely beautiful. THANK YOU, ZACH.

Zach was amazing! He met with us before the wedding to see if we had any special requests for photos and we let him loose! He is creative, energetic, fun, and a beautiful photographer. We received our proofs and book early and I cannot pick our favorite. He captures the trus essence of people and the pictures are so natural and just beautiful. During the reception and ceremony, I didn't even notice him around and the pictures he captured were amazing. I would highly recommend him for your wedding!

Booking Zach as my photographer was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! He is super personable, easy to work with, easy to keep in touch with, well organized without being pushy, and really kept things going. He is from St. Augustine, and knew where we needed to be at what times. I did not have to make any decisions except for what jewelry I wanted photographed. He was so great, even my guests from out of town wanted his info for their daughters weddings! If you have extra money to spend somewhere, definitely invest here.

Zach was so pleasant and great to work with before and during the wedding! We just got married 9 days ago, but Zach made the day go perfectly and got all the shots i wanted! He was happy to offer suggestions, but also made it clear that that my husband and I had the final say. I also liked that Zach worked quickly, so we didn't miss too much of the reception and cocktail hour! I'd definitely recommend him if you are getting married in St. Augustine he knows the area very well. We can't wait to get the photos back in the next couple weeks!

Zach was amazing! His artistic ability is unmatched. He is not just a photographer but an artist! He was the most expensive that we looked at, but my husband and I both said time and again that he was definitely worth it. He made everyone feel so comfortable; he felt like he was part of the family before it was over. His assistant was great too! We are so happy!
