Also, her pricing and the number of photos you receive for each session is MORE than fair compared to many others. Our photos turned out absolutely STUNNING!!! She was always easily available to communicate via phone or email. She was also willing to travel to varying locations for our engagement photos and my bridal portraits. In addition, she stepped up when I needed her most. I planned my wedding during COVID, and she was with me every step of the way. She helped me figure out rescheduling, and even offered to speak to my venue directly for me whenever I was having issues with rescheduling my wedding to a later date. As you can imagine, I was frantic and stressed during this time and she did everything she could to keep me calm. The way she conducted herself throughout our entire experience was exceptional. I had two sessions with her prior to our wedding and already loved her then, but when the wedding came around, I was even more impressed.
She was able to direct and lead our crazy group and had all of her ducks in a row (us being the figurative ducks lol we were all over the place). Even though it’s not in her job description, she stepped up and took charge over the wedding timeline when it was obvious that we needed direction. I seriously couldn’t imagine how our special day would’ve gone if we had chosen anyone other than Monica to be our photographer.

Monica is fun and talented - worth every penny. PS - I originally chose Monica in part because she was familiar with our venue .. but I'm so glad I did in addition to that because she really is *top notch* as the pix are beautiful including fun candid ones. We used Monica Roberts Photography for our June 2013 Wedding. We booked her a year in advance and she was to be our (out of town) wedding Photographer. Little did we know that she was about to make a huge change in her life... and move to Texas...
! We can't even express how happy we are to know that she would be a "Texan"!
Monica was early arriving to our wedding :) took a ton of amazing pictures from us getting ready, many many details, getting married,the receptions and lots and lots of emotion! I can definitely say that Monica photographs for emotion. I'm can't even express how amazing we are with all the images we received. She captured moments I had long forgotten or didn't see or didn't even realize were happening.
I can't begin to express how important it is to get a good/experienced Photographer when planning/booking your wedding. Our hearts are filled with so much joy and gratitude when we look at our pictures.
One of the thing that I loved about Monica, besides her amazing pictures, was that all of her packages come with a second Photographer for the day. That was just an extra plus for us.
