He had really great prompts that helped both my self and my husband (who is painfully uncomfortable in the spotlight) let loose, have fun, and capture some really beautiful moments. We had rain and severe weather most of our wedding day and he did an OUTSTANDING job watching the weather and helped us get in all of the shots for both photo and video we needed in the very few parts of the day there wasn't rain. Our highlight clip was unreal we've gotten so many compliments on it. He did such a great job editing and piecing the day together, it was really beautiful. You can tell he loves what he does because it truly shows in his work. We are so happy with our videos and would hire him again in a heartbeat!

After signing with him, my husband and I had 2 video call leading up to our wedding day so we could go over details/timeline of the day, what special/specific moments we needed him to catch, as well as getting to know each other. Travis had great chemistry with our photographer and the two worked seamlessly in capturing our wedding day together. We selected the 'Feature Film' package and my goodness, was it worth every penny! We received our wedding video on the agreed upon time line and it was everything we could of asked for. The editing, shots, music, everything was amazing done and captured us as a couple to a 'T'. Along with the edited video of the entire day, we also got the original film of our wedding ceremony, speeches and our first dance.

I sat down with James for coffee a couple of weeks before the wedding, and we had a great conversation about who my husband and I are as individuals and a couple, what we envisioned for our day, and what special details we wanted to highlight on video. He had so many great ideas, and talking with him made me even more excited for the big day. The week of the wedding, we received an e-mail that they had had a schedule change, and we were offered a free upgrade to two videographers (James and Travis)! They both were so great the day of the wedding. They captured everything without getting in the way. I am fairly certain they stayed even longer than scheduled. We received all of our videos (first look, full ceremony, wedding party entrance into the reception, speeches, first dances, and a highlight video) on a USB in the mail fairly quickly after the wedding. I was blown away. I was covered in happy tears by the end of viewing all of it. Being able to relive our first look is absolutely priceless, and that segment alone is well worth the price we paid. Video captures a lot that photos cannot from a day that means so much but goes by too fast. My advice is for every couple to have a wedding videographer, and I strongly recommend Monroe Film & Photo!

Our family and friends were very complimentary of the edit, song selection, voiceovers from toasts, etc. Based on some of the prices I saw when initially searching for a videographer, I'm convinced we found the best value in the twin cities!
