TLDR; Staff stole our jewelry during our wedding weekend, management did not call us back after the theft. It’s been two weeks
My wife and I stayed here during our wedding weekend...
. After my wife left the suite, someone came in and took a diamond necklace, a diamond ring, and cash out of a hidden bag. Staff must have gone through our personal belongings
We understand we should have used a safe to house jewelry, but on our wedding day we forgot (and there was a lot going on) and didn’t assume a place with such a high reputation would succumb to that standard.
Do not recommend.
While the Montage Laguna Beach is absolutely STUNNING (amazing staff, gorgeous facilities, great food and provides COVID safe areas outdoors, etc.) working with the event departmen...
t was a nightmare (similar to the below review). I am hopeful they can resolve their issues to ensure a smoother experience for brides/families in the future. Overall, we are so happy we chose the Montage Laguna Beach for our special day, and we encourage others to inquire as well. Biggest piece of advice is to ensure you clearly understand what you are paying for (i.e. service fees) and everything is communicated and documented up front.

he sommelier)set up a great wine tasting for us! We had an amazing time with the wedding planning and the wedding day was perfect! Thank you again!

You almost don't need flowers or any decor - because the setting of the Montage is Mother Nature at her best. With the Pacific behind you and the beauty of Laguna Beach around you,...
getting married at Montage isn't like getting married at a "hotel" or "wedding factory" - it's like getting married at your own home. . . . your own really, really, really nice home. Patty and her staff go above and beyond and then some to create what can only be described as a fairy tale.
