We cannot say enough wonderful things about Jeff Baas, Joe, and Montage Media Films. From the moment they arrived on our wedding day, they were professional, kind, personable, and ...
incredibly easy to work with.
Jeff and Joe brought such a calm and positive presence throughout the day. They gave direction when needed, kept things moving naturally, and made the entire videography experience feel comfortable and effortless. They were attentive without ever being intrusive, which allowed us to stay present and enjoy the day while they captured everything happening around us.
One of the things that impressed us most was their creative vision. They have an incredible eye for composition, movement, lighting, and perspective. It was fascinating to watch them look at a location or moment and immediately see the potential for a beautiful, cinematic shot. There was so much intention behind the way they approached filming our wedding, and it was obvious how much thought and artistry they puts into their work.
Nothing felt generic or formulaic. Jeff approached our wedding as its own story, looking for ways to capture not only what was happening, but the atmosphere and emotion of the day. His creativity really stood out to us, and we loved seeing some of the ideas he came up with in the moment.
Joe was wonderful as well. He was professional, friendly, attentive, and worked seamlessly alongside Jeff throughout the day. They complemented each other incredibly well and made a fantastic team.
We also really appreciated their ability to balance posed and creative footage with the natural moments unfolding around them. They knew when to step in with an idea or a little direction, and when to quietly let a moment happen. That made the experience feel relaxed while still allowing them to create something truly special.
Most importantly, we genuinely enjoyed having Jeff and Joe with us on our wedding day. They brought great energy, were wonderful to be around, and made the experience fun from beginning to end.
We would recommend Montage Media Films without hesitation. Professional, kind, creative, talented, and wonderful to have as part of such an important day. 🤍
We cannot recommend Montage enough for your wedding (or other special event). They filmed our wedding weekend on Mackinac Island and exceeded every expectation. They went above and...
beyond their scope and were just a pleasure to be around for the weekend. We were debating if we even wanted a videographer but we could not be happier that we did (and that we chose Montage). We highly highly recommend!!
Joe did a fantastic job shooting our wedding at Caberfae in August 2025! He was so organized and worked nicely alongside our photographer. He captured our day perfectly, and it is ...
so special to relive the day. We added on the ceremony and speeches cuts after the fact, and we are so glad we did. We highly recommend the Montage team for anyone in Northern Michigan and beyond!

g ready, to the ceremony, all of the photos, and reception, we can’t thank them enough! We wanted guests to leave a message in our video and they did a great job making our vision come to life!!! We felt famous on our wedding day because of them! They were both personable and trustworthy. We are recommending them to everyone that wants a wddding video done! Our families all loved them too! So personable and kind. They even stayed late when my husband took his shirt off on the dance floor! Lol the video book was amazing to have also! It makes reliving the day even easier to do with just opening the book. We can’t recommend them enough! Thank you both for everything!!!

Additionally, the final videos are so simple to access and share that there are virtually zero barriers to reliving such a fun day. Thank you Jeff and Montage Media!

We love them!!! It was so amazing to relive that day and see all the little things that we missed. We definitely recommend using a videographer for your wedding. Jeff and Craig exceeded all of our expectations. Thanks again!!!
We could not have asked for a better experience with Jeff and Montage Media for our wedding this past September! From the first call to discuss their videography style and answer a...
ny questions we had, to the day of our wedding, we had only had positive experiences.
The day of our wedding was a little chaotic in terms of coordination and timing. Jeff and our photographer stepped up and made sure things still went smoothly, all with a positive attitude and calm demeanor.
I cannot reiterate how beautiful and special our wedding video is, and how perfectly our day was captured. We will be able to relive our special day forever and we are so thankful for that!
One more shoutout that I cannot get over - we had asked Jeff about incorporating a special song into our video, but understood if it wasn't possible due to several factors. He surprised us with the song once he delivered the video and it absolutely melted our hearts and meant so much to us!!
We cannot recommend Jeff and Montage Media enough, and will recommend them to everyone we know for all videography in the future!!
I just wanted to reach out and thank you for the absolutely amazing videoooooo!!! We are totally in love with itttt!!! I couldn’t have asked for better! The experience w/ you guys...

I was referred to Jeff by several people, including family and coworkers. But after hiring Jeff, I was nothing short of amazed by his professionalism, attention to detail, and the ...
magic he can work behind the scenes of the camera. I was so glad that we hired him to capture our wedding day, while photos are great - he really did make the day come to life through his exceptional video skills and storytelling.
150% recommend them! Even if you're on the fence about hiring a videographer - don't be, and don't look any further; Jeff is your guy!

As a wedding photographer myself, I started planning my wedding pretty set on what venders I wanted to hire for my own big day. Montage Media was the NUMBER ONE vender I wanted to ...
make sure I had booked! I literally planned my wedding around them because wedding videography literally does NOT get better than what they offer! I could not be more happy with our videos. The quality is unbelievable. Jeff captured every special moment of our day and even moments I forget happened! They go above and beyond for their clients and are passionate about their craft.

heir work is breathtaking! Myself, husband, wedding party, and guests felt so comfortable and special working with them. They are professional and truly experts at their craft. We received our videos back in excellent time, a month from the wedding. We will cherish our videos for the rest of our lives. Thank you Montage Media.
What a talent Montage Media has! Simply incredible. My husband was particularly worried about being mic’d up and videoed for some of our more private moments (first look, vows, etc...
.) but they were able to capture those moments in such a noninvasive way - we truly forgot they were there (in the best way possible!) Everything from the sneak peek to the highlight video to the ceremony coverage was executed perfectly. They picked up on aspects of the wedding that may have been unnoticed by some but that were most important to us and ensured they were incorporated into the video. We can’t thank them enough for creating a keepsake that we will watch for the rest of our lives. I will say it a million times over, find a way to get Montage Media at your wedding - you won’t regret it!
We had the pleasure of working with Jeff to capture our wedding in Bay Harbor, MI this past June and were impressed throughout the process. He took the time before to listen to our...
preferences and answer all our questions so we felt prepared heading into the big day. He worked seamlessly with our photographer and made sure we were comfortable with being on camera when we recited our private vows. Although we only hired Jeff, he was able to set up multiple camera angles for our ceremony and speeches so that it captured all reactions and incorporated the different viewpoints into our video. His drone footage was incredible and really made the video feel high quality. Overall, I'd say Jeff was extremely pleasant to work with and really showed that he cares about what he does. The final video was everything that we hoped for! We've watched it on a loop ever since receiving it, and it really is so special. Big thanks for Jeff and Montage media!
Montage Media Films went above and beyond in multiple ways to make our wedding video dreams come true! We knew we wanted to work with them after they had done an incredible job on ...
my sister's video a few years back, and are a ton of fun to be around!! They flew all the way to Colorado to film our ski wedding. We had to change the plan due to weather and they jumped on board and had everything under control to video the day before the actual wedding. They were so enthusiastic and had a plan for the last second skiing. The day of the wedding they were there to help in ways beyond what a videographer would normally do and along with our photographer kept a chaotic day running smoothly! They had both our sneak peak and actual video ready extremely quickly. Both brought us to tears and allowed us to relive the entire day over and over. They are incredible at capturing the emotion of your day and put it all together perfectly in their videos. I would 100% recommend Montage Media to anyone getting married or doing an event - they are the absolute best at what they do and we couldn't be more grateful for the work that they did for us!
Craig did such an incredible job capturing our day! We are absolutely thrilled with how beautiful the highlight video turned out. It’s amazing to relive the day over again and see...

d truly captured incredible moments. He worked with ease alongside our photographer (Anna from Dan Stewart Photography) and was able to blend in seamlessly with our guests to the point where we didn't even notice him filming at many points. The final products were near film quality and the drone shots over the hotel and Little Traverse Bay were absolutely breathtaking. We certainly would recommend Montage Media Films for anyone with a wedding in Michigan, as we will definitely be rewatching our videos for many, many years to come.

Montage Media was, hands down, the best money we spent on our wedding. Jeff's personality is sweet, comfortable to be around, fun, uplifting...the list goes on. I don't think my (n...
ow) husband and I made it easy on him, either -- neither of us are very comfortable in front of a camera; and somehow still, the video they made from our wedding day is STUNNING. If I could do the day over and over again, I'd hire them without hesitation every time. This will be something (probably the #1 thing) that we cherish from a day that always goes by way too fast. I have watched it countless times already -- it will never get old. Jeff and Montage Media -- thank you for making us feel so special, important, and seen on our most important day. You are a truly gifted team.

Like many couples, we weren't sure if we needed a videographer at our wedding - and after working with Craig we are SO happy we decided to. Not only was the final product completel...
y worth it, but he made the experience for us and our bridal party so fun. He caught moments photography can't and had the best attitude while doing so. We were the type of couple that didn't want anything too cheesy or posed, and he was perfect for this vibe. Also, the turn around was so quick - it was so fun to post our teaser on social media so soon after the wedding! Can't say enough great things about our experience with Montage.
Jeff and his crew was absolutely outstanding. He was maintaining excellent communication with us on the weeks leading to the wedding, he was professional with us during the wedding...
and he was open minded to our vision. Aside from being an excellent videographer, it is very clear that he has been doing this for a long time and is well aware of the nuances of capturing the emotions and experiences of our wedding. To this day we watch our video frequently with a big smile on our faces.
Beyond being an amazing ‘vendor’. We enjoyed his company and approachability to the point that we considered them guests at our wedding.
Thank you Montage Media Films, 10/10, would definitely hire again for future events.

’t even question it, just book Montage Media now!
From start to finish Jeff is amazing to work with! He even helped on the time management and putting together a time frame, since we are a “wait till the last minute” kind of couple.
On the day of they were prompt on arrival and worked closely with our photographer to get the picture perfect scenes that you will reflect on and cherish for a life time. Most of the time you don’t even know Jeff and his team are there! They work seamlessly with your vendors and guest to catch all the best shots and when you look back you will be astounded by things you would have never seen without the video!
Now the video… where to begin?! If you ever wanted to be an actress or just the “star” of the show Jeff and his team make it a reality! We have been told by our guests and we couldn’t agree more but our wedding video looks like it belongs on the big screen! It even has the whole Hollywood cinematic feel!
Believe me when I say you can not go wrong with hiring Montage Media for your big day. So send the message now and get on their books because you won’t regret it for one second!

ake my day run very smoothly. We had some issues with the weather causing me to make a last minute decision of having an indoor or outdoor ceremony and Jeff made me feel so confident with my decision of keeping it outdoor and they captured the fall colors perfectly and the rain held off! Jeff and the team made everyone in my family and wedding party feel so comfortable being captured. They worked with my photographer extremely well, helping her find the best spots to capture everything perfectly. I picked the package that comes with the memory book that displays my wedding on the screen when you open it and my husband and I love it and will cherish it forever. I haven’t seen any other company offer something so special and it was definitely a huge factor as to why we chose Montage Media. Wedding days go extremely fast and with everything going on it can be hard to be in the moment, and having this video of our most special day, captured so well, is something we are eternally greatly for. Do not hesitate to book Montage Media!

e are so grateful we did. We knew from the minute we met Jeff that we were in good hands and going to have the best day. They made my husband and I feel so comfortable on our wedding day, we truly could not recommend them more. Our guests had rave reviews about them and by the end of the day, they felt like part of the family. Jeff and his team had the best recommendations to ensure we got all the shots we wanted. Our wedding recap videos seem like they are out of a movie. The quality is better than anything I have ever seen. Our family and friends are blown away and have commented multiple times about it. The drone shots were incredible and such a nice add-on. Jeff had a sneak peek video within 48 hours for us, UNREAL!!!
Our wedding videos are the most prized possession from our wedding. Montage Media is worth every penny and we would book them again in a heartbeat!
Thank you so much Montage Media!!!

I knew the video was going to be amazing after seeing other wedding videos this team has put together and even with that previous history in mind I was still blown away. One look ...
at the video the guys at Montage Media put together for my daughter’s wedding and I knew I had made the right decision choosing them to put together this memory of our family’s special day. My daughter called when she got the video and was crying tears of joy reliving her wedding day (dad may have if shed a few tears of joy again too). I would definitely recommend Montage Media Films to anyone looking for a team to capture their special day on film too. You will definitely not be disappointed and will be able to relive that moment with your family over and over for years to come. Over and above my expectations for sure thank you so much!

oing to have a videographer. But after my parents watching a few of the videos, they decided to bite the bullet and have Montage Media Films do our video. We have know Jeff for a long time and saw the great work he put out, so we knew our video would be great. Not only was it great, it was beyond what we could have asked for. The music, the shots that were chosen, his recommendation that we read each other letters made what we originally thought we couldn't have a dream come true. I cried many times at the wedding because of how overjoyed I was, but the moments that we captured of our big day by their team made it a million times better. Jeff made something that we will treasure in our hearts forever and I couldn't be more grateful that him and his team does this for couples like us. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer and even to people that might be second guessing if it is even worth it. Our video is priceless and we would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Thank you from our family and from James and I. We love our video and are so grateful for all you do. Grateful, thankful and blessed. If anyone is second guessing a wedding video, please do the video. Ours is beyond perfect and priceless. I cant thank Jeff Bass and his team enough. Thank you for being a part of our special day and for the beyond perfect video. We love it so much! ❤️
Jeff did an amazing job as our videographer for our wedding at our farm! The video captured the best moments and we love that we get to relive the moments!
How lucky were we to find Jeff, Joe, and the entire Montage Media team to capture our wedding. To start the planning process, I did not think we would need/want a video; I could no...
t have been more wrong! About eight months before the big day, I realized we couldn't miss the opportunity to have our day on film, and started the search for a team. As with all other aspects of our day, I quickly knew I wanted to find a team that could not only capture our day, but could also bring to life the beauty of Leelanau County with drone footage. With recommendations by both our friends (2021 clients of Montage) and our planning team, we were introduced to Jeff and the Montage team and we never looked back!
From our initial conversation, Jeff was so easy to talk to and really could envision out loud everything that was in my head. We talked through what I thought I would want from a video and ideas we had already worked through with our Photographer for the day's events. Jeff was then able to take those and helped us make them even better! It helped so much that his book of work already captured so much of what I was looking for in terms of story and drone footage. Being a Northern Michigan local, he knew exactly how to capture what I was looking for with both scenes from my home as we got ready as well as footage above while we got married on the top of the hill at the Homestead. He even helped us come up with reading our letters aloud to each other during our first look which became such a memorable time for my Husband and I to share our vows, just between us.
Then, within only a month, we were gifted our most cherished piece from the day, the final video. It was far more perfect than anything we could have imagined. It was so light and fun, just as our day was, but captured every detail and feeling that was felt on that day. It is how we will always remember this day and we are so grateful for the pure movie magic Jeff and Joe were able to capture. We feel so lucky to have worked with the Montage team and could not thank them enough for creating such a work of art for our day!

for inclement weather and optimized each moment of the day with extraordinary talent and creativity, which added so many gorgeous details to our stunning video. His personality, can-do attitude, and warmth made it a joy to have him part of our day. And the highlight video-- WOW! Thank you, Jeff, for capturing our day and creating such a treasure for us to share and enjoy in the years to come. We are 1000% happy with our decision to work with Jeff & Montage Media!

Then when we got our videos we were blown away. My husband finally agreed that a videographer was worth the money. There were so many special moments that we either forgot or didn’t see because the day was so busy. The way he cut everything it is like a feature film.
I picked Montage Media before because I found myself getting lost in the wedding videos of people I didn’t know. Now having our own videos produced by them, I feel so special and honored to have such a high quality keepsake of our special day.

creative myself, I was afraid I'd be picky about what was captured or music selected, but Jeff nailed it. They captured details that made the story of our day that much more emotional. It was a stretch for us to financially to pick Montage Media, but I knew they would be worth it and I was totally right. We will cherish these videos so much. I cry and feel way more emotion watching this than looking at my wedding photos. I highly recommend anyone who wants a quality to book them. You will not regret it! They were so kind, cool, and awesome to work with.

eo - it has everything - all of our favorite people, laughs, tears, dancing, and so much more. We were simply speechless watching our video for the first time. It was like reliving the day all over again, except with so many more angles and perspectives. The artistry and production value are SO HIGH, too. The audio is crystal clear, the shots are balanced, framed beautifully, the pacing is exciting and thrilling. I used to work in broadcast production and I can tell you from experience their vision and technical skillsets are extraordinarily rare! Many say they can shoot video but not everyone can craft such a beautiful story. Jeff and his team are true storytellers. Jeff and his second shooter Joe operated seamlessly and unintrusively on the day of the wedding. Jeff was so kind and went out of his way to meet and talk with us during the wedding planning stages to make sure everything went smoothly, and it did. I could go on and on...but my one advice to any new couple? Hire Montage Media ASAP. Our wedding video is priceless to me, and I am so thankful we have this to treasure for the rest of our lives. Thank you, Jeff and Joe!

On top of loving the content, Jeff was so personable and amazing to work with. He made my whole bridal party feel so comfortable in front of the camera and got all the best shots. He also worked with me for an extra long day since I really wanted our sparkler send off on film, and surprised my husband and I with a teaser video at the end of the night that they played in front of all our guests that were still there. It was so so special.
I could not recommend them more, truly! I would give 6/5 stars if I could.

personal, and unique. Not only are we SUPER happy with the final product, but Jeff was amazing to work with on the big day!
