The reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because we were disappointed to learn during our final walkthrough that the dock leading to the lake had been removed for safety reasons due to deterioration. I completely understand that safety comes first, but I wish we had been informed sooner since we had planned to take many of our photos and drone footage in that area. Finding out so close to the wedding meant we had to change our plans at the last minute. Without access to the dock, there were very few alternative locations for photos beyond the grassy areas. We also weren’t aware that the bridge was so steep until the day of. Walking up and down it in heels was challenging and made taking photos in other areas more difficult than we expected. Despite those disappointments, the venue is still beautiful, and our wedding day was wonderful.  We truly appreciate  Tori, the staff and the setting they provided, and we have so many memories we’ll cherish forever.
