Clint Anderson and the Montana Gazette band are known for bringing their boot stompin’ old school country to liven up your honkytonk, community dance, wedding reception, corporate or private party. Band members Derek Hofer (guitar/harmony vocals), Silas Rea (fiddle and mandolin), Cabot Metz (steel guitar and banjo), Greg Valor (drums) and Shawna Lockhart (doghouse bass) provide the drive for Clint’s downhome vocals and get your party out on the dance floor or singing-along to country favorites.

The band members also play in a bluegrass band and a Cajun band, if you prefer those genres. The band members are also available as solos, duos, and instrumental trios that provide a genuine Montana sound. We provide our own PA system for high-quality sound and can provide lighting too if needed. We can learn your special song if it fits into our style, given appropriate notice, or let you connect an input to our PA system and play from your playlist. Whether you are looking for a fun dance band for your reception, or ceremony and dinner music too, we love to bring our Montana roots to make your event special.

s the full band for the reception. From the beginning, they were so wonderful to work with and incredibly flexible in planning the logistics of the day. They customized their set list and even learned songs for both the ceremony and the first dances at the reception. They took care of all their own set up and were fully ready with no fuss and time to spare. The music for the ceremony and cocktail hour was amazing - the fiddle and guitar was the perfect backdrop. Then they really got the party started after dinner and kept the dance floor hopping all night with their selection of 80s and 90s country classics. They played even longer than we expected! So many folks commented on how special the music was and how much fun they made the reception. Highly, highly recommend you consider them if the vibe you are looking for at your wedding or event is a good time at rockin' saloon.
