It was an absolutely perfect day! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding--and the MLC was so helpful getting it all planned (I was planning by myself). They catered to everything I asked for, and made really good suggestions for things I had not thought of. Everyone was very kind, the set up was absolutely beautiful and the setting was gorgeous. The chef was very accommodating and the food was excellent and lots of it! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I picked the lake club for its location and how the club is set up to have your family and close friends stay all in the hotel portion with you--it felt like all our own--which was personal and just what we wanted. Everyone was able to relax and enjoy it as a get away. It was not too much of an issue for me--as most people planned early on, but it is quite far, so keep in mind it is almost a destination wedding unless you are from Long Island. Overall, I had an incredible experience and highly recommended the MLC. I would do it again in a heart beat, and I am looking forward to returning to enjoy the MLC for years to come with my husband and share the memories forever!

After looking at all the venues in Montauk we decided on the Montauk Lake Club. What drew us to this amazing venue is that the place is pretty much YOURS for the weekend, which we considered a HUGE bang for your buck. Unlike other locations, you and your party have all the rooms in the hotel for both Friday and Saturday night (we had a Sat wedding) so it feels like a real weekend get-a-way. The owner and staff are tried and true professionals and come wedding day I didn't have to worry about any details. Food is amazing and the chef even worked with us to incorporate some family recipes for the appetizers. Overall the experience was great and I highly recommend them. If I was to give a suggestion for future couples it wold be to get as many final costs as you can up front (I believe this should be easier now since they are updating their wedding package).

econd home. In our search, we were hoping to find a place that would represent Montauk, and all the things we love about it to share with our family and friends. And because of that goal, we were determined to avoid a traditional hall or wedding factory venue. After identifying what it was we truly wanted our guests to experience, it became clear that The Montauk Lake Club was the perfect choice. The wedding ended up exceeding all our expectations. Our guests could not stop commenting on the food, the service, and the atmosphere. The staff is amazing and willing to accommodate all your requests. They have pride in their club and truly care that you and your guests get exactly what you’re looking for in your wedding. The entire experience is customizable. You will hear Brian the manager say “anything you want” and it was anything you want!
