We chose Monteray Farms since they are the gardeners for our wedding venue, the Tidewater Inn and came highly recommended. I loved that they owned their own flower farm and were women owned/run. Amy was amazing to work with from the beginning. We put together an initial proposal. She advised me that my vision might change post purchase of the dress -- she was right! At that point, we put together a new proposal and tweaked it over the coming months. She was incredibly accommodating, highlighting what items from the ceremony could be re-purposed for the reception, acknowledging where additional flowers were necessary, or not necessary. Amy and her daughter in law, Aimee, also helped to create these upside down floral arrangements hanging from the venue's chandelier that I know took a lot of time, patience and care. They were SO cool and really special. Amy also did a few florals for our rehearsal that we were able to repurpose for the ceremony/reception. It was amazing! Highly recommend Monteray Farms for their beautiful flowers, arrangements, vision, and partnership.

Ive known I have wanted Monteray Farms as my wedding florist since I was a little girl. I am one of the lucky ones who has gotten to know Amy personally my whole life! (Since she is my Aunt and all.) She took me under her wing when college did not work out for me and showed me the world of floristry. I was always (and still am) constantly blown away from her work. Ive seem the love, sweat, and sometimes tears that is put into each and every item she creates. Every single detail has had so much thought put into it. Working along side my Aunt Amy I constantly let her know all the things I had wanted in my dream wedding....and boy was I blown away when she made that happen! I had made up my dream board of all my favorite colors and flowers and things. She made everything look way better then any Pinterest board I have seen! Monteray Farms has such an amazing team of people who love everything flowers and making your wedding dream come true! I highly suggest!!!

I am so glad I chose Monteray Farms as my wedding florist - Amy did a spectacular job with my wedding and we received many compliments on our gorgeous floral hanging heart and floral centerpieces! After meeting with several florists, I knew right away that I had to book Amy because she demonstrated the most care and attention to my vision. At my consultation, she took the time to create a visual document with pictures and drawings to show what my bouquets and centerpieces would look like, arranging them as I described what I wanted. Other florists that I met with just took some notes and showed me some pictures of what I requested. Amy is very professional and highly experienced - she immediately grasped my ideas and offered valuable opinions and feedback when I asked her for suggestions. On my wedding day, her team set everything up beautifully. The flowers looked gorgeous and lasted for several days after the wedding. Amy and her team were wonderful to work with and did an incredible job bringing our vision to life for our May wedding, including our dream hydrangea bar! Not only were all the floral arrangements full and stunning, but the quality is unmatched. Case in point- our hydrangea centerpieces all managed to withstand the 95 degree heat wave that was our wedding day. Amy has been our trusted go-to delivering for all our major family events from weddings to holiday parties— there’s no one that does it better.

Calling all brides who plan to get married in St. Michaels, Amy and her team are incredibly knowledgable, professional, and kind. When I first spoke with Amy (2 years ago!) I had a vision for my wedding that ended up being much different from what we ended up doing and she remained very patient and flexible, from the cost of flowers, type of flowers, and design. It's evident that they are best in the business as they transformed our already perfect wedding venue into an eden. Amy and her team setup flowers for our rehearsal dinner through our wedding day, and coordinated pick up on Sunday - my family and I didn't have to lift a finger. They secured a fabulous arch, 9 beautiful bridesmaid bouquets, and a show stopping bridal bouquet. The best part, they understand the importance of being cost effective and sustainable - repurposing flowers throughout the weekend as we moved from each space in our venue to the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. I hired Monteray Farms as my florist for my wedding and they did an amazing job! Amy was very easy to work with and helped me extensively with picking the perfect flower arrangements for my wedding ceremony and reception. She is very creative and helps with saving costs by re-purposing arrangements as well! She accommodates any budget and is very knowledgeable about flowers, especially for someone like me who knows nothing about flowers! I highly recommend them and would use them again for any future florist needs.

Amy did a terrific job. We had 4 different dates and she was able to keep up with all our date changes and making sure we got the flowers we wanted for the different seasons. The flowers Amy provided for our wedding were STUNNING. Words cannot do them justice. I didn't give her much to work with when I described what we wanted ("something autumnal, bright colors..."), but she took that and ran with it. They were so bright and full - I got SO many compliments. And the decorations on the tables were equally incredible. Amy and her team at Monteray Farms are the best in the biz, and I can't wait to host another event just to work with them again!

Amy and her floral expert team were one of my favorite parts of our wedding day!!! We had planned on a beautiful floral/greenery arch between two trees that I had dreamed of at our venue. When it rained and we were not able to have the ceremony in the original place as planned .. I was not sure what we would do about an arch! Amy called me on wedding day and immediately had a plan B - little did I know plan B was so AMAZING - even better than what we had originally planned. She made sure our wedding arch was still just as beautiful as we expected - and it was even more beautiful than we thought. Our florals were unique - a fall cinnamon rose with rust and champagne touches. We still continue to get compliments on our gorgeous fall florals, centerpieces and sweetheart arrangement. The combination of fall florals that she used for our wedding was incredible - a masterpiece. Amy and her team did beyond what I imagined on my wedding day - let alone her calming presence during an impending rain storm! Amy was very responsive to e-mails, full of good ideas, and very organized. One of my favorite touches was how Amy hand-wrapped a gorgeous piece of my mother's detailed veil around my bouquet. I will forever remember our wedding flowers as one of my favorite and most memorable parts of our day!

I can't say enough things about Amy and Monteray Farms. She went above and beyond for our wedding. Her husband built the most beautiful arch and it was decorated to perfection. Everything turned out beautiful and she was able to capture my vision to a T. Prior to, she will walk you through everything and make suggestions. She mentioned things I never would have thought of! Amy and her team and Monteray Farms were absolutely fantastic! They were recommended by our wedding planner with the preface “she can do anything you want” and that is an understatement. Amy provided the most beautiful proposal that made me confident she understood my vision. She was even able to help us out in a pinch for last minute rehearsal dinner flowers. The day of, Amy and her team worked seamlessly with our planner to make our outdoor/tented wedding better than we could have ever imagined. Everything was exactly how we had discussed if not better. Amy was wonderful to work with! We had to reschedule a few times due to COVID and she was extremely flexible and communicative throughout the whole process. Amy and her team were amazing to work with. We rescheduled our wedding with ease and provided a budget that Amy was still able to make work beautifully. My bouquet in particular was out of this world and everything I had asked for (and more)! They delivered to our hotel while bridesmaids were getting ready perfectly on time. I also requested a gift box/keepsake of succulents and she knew exactly what to make so I could give this to our MIL and MOB to remember our special day. Amy helped my wedding vision come to life! She was so easy to work with and so flexible; she delivered the bouquets and boutonnieres to where we were getting ready, and even met my parents at a tasting when they were in town to show them a sample centerpiece! Our wedding was postponed with COVID and she made the switch so seamless. All of her arrangements were beautiful - the bouquets, church decorations, centerpieces, and little touches were more than I could have imagined. I highly recommend Amy and her team!

We could not have been more pleased with Amy. She listened to what we were envisioning and made it even better than we expected. It was pouring rain on our wedding day, and I was originally really disappointed to have to move everything under the tent, however, when I walked in, I was shocked to see how pretty and romantic it looked (candles, flowers, and ALL the details). She really worked magic!

Not only were all the floral arrangements beautiful, but every flower was fresh, fragrant and obviously placed with care and creativity. There’s not enough space to say how amazing Amy is! She helped me during my moment of panic with the flowers the day before the wedding with such ease, patience and love! She is beyond talented and I was in complete and utter awe when I saw the ceremony and reception space. I can’t say thank you enough to her and her team for bringing our dream to life! Amy is a top-notch florist! She helped me immensely early-on in my wedding planning process, giving suggestions and help beyond just the flowers. She was able to incorporate my colors from my invite, dresses, and inspiration board into florals that were beyond beautiful. The first tear I shed on my wedding day was when my bouquet was delivered; I'd never seen such gorgeous flowers! She helped work within my budget, moving flowers from ceremony to reception, every arrangement was used twice and the transition was seamless. My parents have a wedding picture of me on their fridge, but it is just of my torso with a high-detail focus on my bouquet, that's how amazing Amy's work is.

Amy and her team are the absolute best! Amy is so easy to work with, especially given all the curveballs that COVID threw our way. We went from planning a big wedding to planning a wedding with 10 people and Amy was flexible and wonderful every step of the way. The florals at the wedding were INCREDIBLE. The table arrangements and mantles looked perfect, and I will never forget my bouquet. The whole event was stunning, and I can't wait to work with her again next year to plan the flowers for the big soiree (fingers crossed!)!

Amy and her crew seriously know how to work some floral magic. I, like many other brides, planned and re-planned our wedding during this pandemic. Monteray Farms was a vendor I was not willing to lose, so booking the new date around them was a must. Amy took a very child-like sketch of a vision I had and turned it into pure beauty. My husband and I got married in a private ceremony on our original date, so Amy also created my bouquet for that occasion out of silks, so it was easy to add to and make bigger for the July date. My girls' bouquets were beautiful, the arch was nothing like I had ever seen before, and the center pieces were to die for! The set up and breakdown ran smoothly, and they even did it on probably the hottest day Maryland experienced this summer.. literally 107 degree heat index. All of that to say, they are truly a must have for your wedding experience. You will NOT be sorry! Sending a big thanks to Amy and her crew for making our day the best day of our lives!

Unfortunately I never had the pleasure of meeting Amy. However, from the first time that I spoke to her about doing flowers for the rehearsal dinner for my son’s wedding, I knew that I would love working with her. We worked with Amy from Monteray Farms for our wedding at my family's home on the Eastern Shore in Maryland and it was nothing short of spectacular. Amy and her team were an absolute dream to work with! From start to finish, she made the entire process so wonderful from discussing colors, offering suggestions I hadn't thought of, and going above and beyond to ensure everything turned out perfectly. The Monteray Farms team not only set up shoreline lighting the day before the wedding so we could enjoy at the rehearsal as well, they also provided linens to bring extra personalization to our space, and rental items from lanterns to centerpieces to the card display. She took care of so many details for us so we didn't have to worry. The bouquets ended up even better than my inspiration pictures. I absolutely LOVED all of our flowers. They incorporated our wedding colors in the ribbons around the bouquets for an extra beautiful detail and even threw in a gift of a bridal toss bouquet when I mentioned I didn't want to throw my actual bouquet :) She also offered so many wonderful suggestions keeping our budget in mind. Working with Amy was a highlight for me during our wedding planning process, every time we discussed ideas, it was so fun and I grew more and more excited to see how everything would turn out. She truly enjoys her work, which you can see in her attention to detail, wonderful demeanor, and excitement when talking about the wedding day! Amy and Monteray Farms are amazing; from amazing personalities, talent, and floral design. I cannot even begin to describe the beauty they created through flowers. Everyone at my wedding talked about the gorgeous bouquets, the aisle covered in petals, and the unbelievable center pieces. She truly listens to what you want your wedding to look like, and creates a masterpiece that is beyond expectations. I cannot express how much I am in love with the florals from my wedding!

Working with Amy was amazing. Her experience really shines through as she had planned for every detail, even the ones i didn't think of! I was also planning my wedding from the west coast and while we weren't able to meet in person, at our first phone consultation it was like she was in my head and knew exactly what I was looking for. Amy's proposal was very detailed so I had a really good sense of how the venue was going to be decorated. The results were breathtaking. The arrangements were gorgeous, generously sized. and creative. My bouquet was a cascading bouquet and she made it tailored to my petite height. I notice that Amy has received all 5 star ratings. She and her staff truly deserve a 10, as they are in a class by themselves! My family has a lot of experience with Monteray Farms. Amy was the florist for both our sons' weddings held at our farm on the Eastern Shore. She listened to each bride, tailoring the arrangements to fit their personalities and interests. Her floral quality and unique designs are remarkable. The most frequent question I received at each wedding was "Who did the flowers?". When our youngest daughter selected the Barns at Wolftrap in Vienna, Virginia for her April wedding Amy was the first vendor I contacted. She agreed to make the 2.5 hour trip (on a perfect traffic day) to work with us again. She certainly worked her magic in the barns! The huge arrangements to fill the cavernous post and beam structure were incredible. It was stunningly beautiful. She is honest and considerate of budgets and flower preference. She truly brings any vision to life. My family uses Monteray for all our flower needs throughout the year.

We absolutely loved working with Amy for the flowers for our wedding. The flowers were one of our top priorities for the wedding and she truly worked with us to make the event absolutely beautiful. We loved being able to use a local vendor on the Eastern shore and she provided us with such great customer service. She worked with us through many revisions and adjustments, even ones as small as changing the shades of specific flowers for particular arrangements. She was always cognitive of our budget, which was truly appreciated. She also went above and beyond to try to find specific flowers that we wanted that were not locally in season. Our flowers turned out absolutely beautiful and our guests could not stop raving about them!! One of my husbands (rowdy college) friends said after the wedding ''You know... I don't typically notice things like this at weddings but your flowers were gorgeous'. We had considered other vendors on the eastern shore and even ones from the DC area but are so pleased that we picked Amy.
