Montgomery Marriott Prattville at Capitol Hill

This venue is an excellent place to have a wedding. The event coordinator, Nicki Miller, and staff at this place were very helpful, polite, and hard working. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I used this location for my wedding reception in December of 2009. The individual that I worked with to coordinate was a good business professional until the last week before the wedding. She informed me that everything could be negotiated. However when it came time to sign the contract for all of my arrangements they would not negotiate. They offer the couple the executive swuite the night of the wedding at no cost. I decided to also stay there the night before. My hairdresser came in the morning of to style all 7 of the girls hair. My door was left ajar for the girls to come in and out. The arrangements were for the ballroom to be set up (the way I had maped it out) before 0730 when my florist arrived. . I went to the ballroom at 0700 that morning and when I got there I started crying because evrything was in disarray. The guest tables were not the correct size, tableclothes to small and wrinkled, overlays that I purchased were not on the table, head table and dance floor were not in its proper location, & the chairs still stacked. The worst part was is that there was no one in the facility to help me and the clerk from the hotel hd to locate someone to come immediatley.I was promised an arrival NLT 30 mintues and then two hours somene arrived. I had a bridal luncheon to attend at 10:30 but was late due to those isues. My hairdresser and best friend of 10 years left right behind me.. Being that I was late to the lucnheon, it also made me late for my pictures, and I was not able to get all the shoots paid for. The night went well until I was informed that the individuals that were serving food was caught taking packaging up the sodas that we purchased and was located in the main foyer (keep in mind the Legends would only sell them to us at $35 a case). I never saw the sodas that were packed up. I had purchased Xmas ortaments from St Judes in memory of a pediatric client of mine that passed away in March of 2009. Workers were caught carrying out ornaments and the would not stop when told they did not have the right. My laptop was also stolen betweenthe time of my brdal luncheon and my reception. At first when the housekeepers were questioned they said they never cleaned my room but then came back when found in a lie they did but my door was left open. The only thing the Legends reiumbursed me was $500 and never replaced me laptop. HORRIBLE EXPERINCE!
