Montilio’s does not disappoint! We are so happy to have chosen to work with them for our wedding cake. Our wedding package included a wedding cake from Montilio’s, but they also offered the option of doing a smaller wedding cake for half the guests and an assortment of desserts for the other half of the guests for no extra charge! The cake was absolutely gorgeous and the staff was awesome to work with by always replying promptly to countless emails. The strawberry grand marnier flavor was incredible and the other small pastries were fabulous. We received countless compliments from our guests about the dessert options and would highly recommend!!

We used Montillio's for our wedding cake and WOW. The cake was so good. I regret not eating more during our wedding! We did Vanilla Bean and Chocolate with a top tier of Red Velvet that we brought home to eat the next day and it was unreal. The guests loved it! The tasting was low key and so easy. We got to try all the flavors to choose and then design our cake. Getting in contact with them after was easy. The cake was the exact vision I wanted! While we did flowers through our florist for decor, they do offer florals they can add for you.

We have nothing but great things to say about our wedding cake from Montilio's! We both already loved their cakes so we didn't need to search far for our wedding cake. We went for our cake tasting and wow, what an experience! The woman we worked with to create our cake was so fun and personable! She absolutely loved our idea and because she was so excited about it, we knew we had the right place! We had a very specific idea for our cake....floral side (sunflower and rose) for the bride and Star Wars for the groom. They took the pictures that I shared and brought them to life! The flowers were put on at the venue but the bride side was so beautiful on its own. Then there is the Star Wars side.....OUTSTANDING! They matched the picture exactly! It was the talk of the party! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Montilio’s was incredible to work with! They were communicative, prompt, and very responsive to our questions. For our tasting we requested an additional flavor outside of their “typical” offerings, and they accommodated our request without issue. They provided excellent recommendations and best of all, an extremely tasty final product. For our 9/7 wedding we got an apple spice wedding cake, alongside cake balls, and other treats. Guests were raving all night long.

Our wedding cake was amazing both in style and in taste! We did our tasting at the Montilio’s located in Jordan’s Furniture in Avon, MA and we had a great experience where we got to try several different flavors of cake that were all delicious! We had settled on 3 flavors: Vanilla Bean, Chocolate Tuxedo, & Funfetti. Our guests ended up loving each and every one! For our cake order, we got a traditional 3-tier cake that was “Abstract Palette” with touches of white and blue and then we ordered kitchen sheet cake for the rest of the guests. We ordered cake for 150 guests and had approximately 180 at our wedding and only had one sheet cake and some extra slices leftover because our guests loved it so much and were taking it home in to-go boxes! Highly recommend working with Montilio’s as they were easy to communicate with during the planning process and how they make the most delicious cakes! Montilios made us the most lovely wedding cake! The design is exactly what we wanted, all three of the flavors we chose were delicious, and leftovers were snatched up almost immediately. Their pricing is so reasonable for the quality that you get, and their wedding team is very pleasant to work with. Would recommend!

Our wedding venue has a relationship with Montilio's, so it was included in our venue contract (which I learned is quite common). We really enjoyed our individual tasting where we got to taste a bunch of different flavors and meet 1:1 with an associate to talk through design ideas. We especially liked that we could choose 2 different flavors across our 4-tier cake. Our cake looked exactly like we wanted it to and our guests couldn't stop telling us about how good it was! Highly recommend!

Montilio's Bakery created a beautifully classic cake for our winter wedding at the Omni Parker House. We had a wonderful consultation and chose two very different and fun flavors for the cake itself, but we were absolutely astonished at how beautiful, clean, and timeless the outside final design was when we saw it on our wedding day. It was exactly what we wanted! It beautifully coordinated with the heirloom cake toppers my grandfather allowed us to use for the wedding. Our cake cutting photos ended up being some of our favorite ones from the evening, and we look forward to enjoying our top tier this time next year! We are very grateful to the talented bakers at Montilios!

The most delicious cake I've ever had! The tasting was great, they gave us full slices of all of their staple and seasonal flavors. We had a 3 tier cake at our wedding and it was so beautiful. They communicated well, worked thoughtfully within our budget, and offered a great selection of flavors that my husband got to take with him to try at home, since I couldn't join him in Quincy that day. We didn't ask for much in terms of a design, but we chose two flavors to layer (lemon blueberry and cassata), and they were both delicious.

Words can't express how happy I am with Montilio's. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the cake they made was the most beautiful cake I've ever seen in my whole life. The staff at our wedding reception were even taking photos of it. I almost didn't want to eat it! Well I'm glad I did because it was also delicious and I'm not even a huge fan of cake. The cake was perfectly moist and frosting was not too sweet. Thank you Montilio's for making my dream wedding cake!

I am passionate about knitting and I saw a cake on Pinterest that had fondant made to look like a cable knit sweater- I brought this to my tasting expecting to be told that it wasn't possible to recreate. They made EXACTLY the same cake seen in the photo! The cake was delicious and was a huge hit with all our guests- pricey but worth every penny. So professional and easy to deal with, and the final product was absolutely amazing. Montillios is the best!

This was for the Braintree location: Ordered a wedding cake here. The cake itself taste delicious and the cake was pretty. But it was missing elements I asked for. This was super disappointing on my wedding day. It's understandable if certain things can not be done but, there was no communication saying these could not be done. I wonder if i paid for some of the missing items too. My vision was not achieved. And I know that's a tough expectation but some of my elements that were missing we're clearly written on the documents. Recommended for every day cakes but specialty cakes be careful

Montilio's was amazing! Our cake looked amazing and tasted even better, it was everything that we wanted. Every time we asked for something additional to be added to the cake, they accommodated the request at no extra charge. The staff in the Braintree MA location were wonderful and allowed both of my parents and my Husband's mother to come with us to the cake tasting (when their limit is usually 4 people at a tasting). I would recommend this bakery highly.

We had Montilio's do our cake and some other small desserts for our wedding and overall, were very pleased. The cake was beautiful and delicious (chocolate with cream cheese inside and buttercream on top), and the small desserts were also great. We had one small issue where we had ordered 5 small desserts and 3/5 were correct, we didn't get one we had ordered, and the last was incorrect. They fixed the issue (obviously after the fact) and were very professional and apologetic.

Montilio's provided the cake for my June 2018 wedding at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem. Montilio's cakes serve as part of the wedding package at the Hawthorne so my interaction with their staff was limited to the tasting, but we had an absolutely wonderful experience with them. We met with a staff member at the Braintree location in November who was kind, patient, and knowledgeable about the wedding package and our reception venue. She took photographs I provided and showed me others she thought I may like so we could create a design that fit within the package. She allowed my now-husband and I plenty of time to sample many different cakes and encouraged us to have three different flavors as part of our four tiered cake. On the day of the wedding, the cake looked better than I could have imagined and tasted delicious. Our guests raved about it and were so happy to hear it was from Montilio's, as many of them had Montilio's wedding cakes themselves. This bakery is a classic for a reason and I could not be happier that they were part of our day.

Montilio's had a cake agreement with our venue so the price AND the product was great. We also had our favors done here (mini crumb top apple pies -YUM!). They let us go in and package our favors exactly how we wanted to. Both the cake and pies were delicious and beautiful! Thanks Montilio's!

We got married September 17th. I remember seeing Montilio's baking company at our venue's bridal showcase. Their wedding cake was so delicious and moist. The planning process was easy. When we went to our cake tasting, they had some amazing options. Flavors I don't usually like, I actually enjoyed from Montilio's. The decorations came our perfect. Our cake, the three bites we got to eat, was amazing. Our guests tell us they loved it! We also had to get a few gluten free desserts for 3 guests. Three months prior, we were able to taste their gluten free cupcakes and whoopie pies. They were the best gluten free whoopie pies we have ever tasted! We ordered the whoopie pies for our wedding and our guests that had them swooned! Overall, amazing company to work with and delicious treats to enjoy!

Montilio's was an amazing experience. We called and scheduled an appointment to taste cakes- this I was more excited about than anything! We were greeted by Patti- she was energetic, funny and knew a lot about cakes. I informed her of our budget and the style we were looking for; she was respectful of that and gave wonderful advice throughout our time there. She was so nice and friendly; we spent some time after cake tasting just chatting and catching up with her. The cake was delicious. It was absolutely beautiful on our wedding day- and delicious. We received so many compliments on the cake and how delicious it was. It was executed perfectly- it was exactly what we wanted!

Cake was awesome- it came as part of our wedding package w/Ocean Edge Resort (which was a great addition). We paid a little extra for the topper and to change one of the flavors of the layers, around $200, but worth it. We got to taste samples at the Ocean Edge prelude, but also got a private appointment with the bakery. They brought the cake to the venue which was very helpful. Ocean Edge did a great job cutting up the cake and saving the top part for us to take home.

We worked with Montilio's for our wedding cake and the cake was picture perfect and delicious! We brought in a photo of what type of cake we wanted and from there Montilio's worked with us! They made sure that the cake looked exactly like the picture, was within our budget and tasted amazing! I honestly didn't even want to cut into the cake because it was so beautiful but once I did, I was happy! It was so delicious! All of our guests have been raving about how yummy the cake was and how pretty it was too! We loved everything about the cake!!! It could not have been more perfect! Thank you!

A Montilio's wedding cake was included in our wedding package at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem, MA. We were so lucky to have them as our wedding cake vendor! The cake options (both looks and taste) were great, it was hard to choose! The cake was beautiful on the day of, just what we wanted. We had worked out that our florist would provided flowers for the cake and the caterer would add the wedding topper we provided - it all came together very nicely. The Montilio's staff (on the phone, in person and by email) were very responsive and easy to work with and they delivered a beautiful and delicious product! Thank you!

We loved our cake, and working with Joyce at Montilios. My family and I initially went for a private tasting, and we had a lot of fun, trying about 10 types of cake. We went in having no idea what type of cake we were looking for, and Joyce helped us by showing us some pictures of cake designs. She was also clear on pricing ... which designs and cake flavors were more than the standard pricing. I really appreciated that candidness. We ended up going with a mocha flavored 4 tier cake and it was beautiful! Our guests raved about the look and taste of the cake. We would use them again for an event!

My cake was part of the wedding package at Red Lion Inn. We went and had a wonderful tasting experience at the Montillios in Braintree, MA. Everything was delicious. They were out of one type so they has us come pick up a small cake in that flavor at no charge. We decided our flavors and design and everything was taken care of. We din't have to think of it after that and it was there at the wedding.

My wedding cake from Montilio's bakery was perfect. It was absolutely gorgeous! They were so easy to work with. My husband and I were able to visit the bakery and test their best cake flavors. It was so much fun. It was hard work trying to design the perfect cake but the staff was very helpful. Day of the wedding they were on time and the cake was perfect!

Instead of purchasing a traditional tiered wedding cake, my husband and I decided to provide a cake bar. We chose 10 different cakes, 1 for us to cut and keep, and 9 others to cut and serve. With flavors like the traditional carrot, red velvet and pistachio, to the more daring cassata (a rum soaked white cake with a ricotta and chocolate chip filling, iced in cream cheese buttercream and studded in crushed cannoli shells) or "create a cake" option. The ladies in the Brockton office were spectacular, and as the wedding was on the cape, they shipped them to a local distributor for free.

I highly recommend Montillio's for any occasion. My wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted delicious! We had a 4 tier cake with mocha and a pumpkin cake layer. The frosting was also amazing! Both flavors were delicious although the decision on just two flavors was pretty tough at the tasting. I was impressed with their service and their product and will absolutely go back for any future needs.

Our wedding cake came with our Hyatt Boston Harbor wedding package. We went for the taste testing and decided on a 4 tier red velvet cake with buttercream frosting. We had a Red Sox themed wedding and so the red velvet was a subtle yet delicious detail to our wedding theme (the cake was red and the colors of the wedding were red and white). Keith and I decided to get creative and so we asked to have baseball stitching flowing into the shape of hearts around the edges of each tier of the cake. We didn't have any visuals to go off of, as the baseball stitching was our own idea, but when we saw our cake the day of our wedding we were blown away! It came out amazing! The baseball stitching design came out so cute and the 4 pillars that separated the top tier with the second tier were made to look like baseball bats! We were so thrilled with the way our wedding cake came out. Our guests are still raving about it!

They did an awesome job on the decor of our cake! When I saw it all completed for the first time, it was right before we were going to cut the cake and I got soooo excited about how gorgeous it looked! And obviously it tasted great too!! We had a white and chocolate cake and did a tasting beforehand. They were very professional with us and I will definitely recommend them to anyone!!
