Montour Heights Country Club

Tammie are the two nicest people you will ever meet and they literally go above and beyond to make the day special for you and your loved ones. They are very well organized and easy to work with. My sister also got married at MHCC and seeing how well hers went, my significant other and I were inspired to have ours here as well. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the food is delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience here and we are forever grateful for how well our entire wedding planning process went with MHCC, especially with Tammie and Don.

Tammie and Don we both very responsive when we had questions and made sure we were well taken care of on our wedding day so that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. This is not a musty, outdated country club. They have modern decor and regular improvements to their dining and hosting spaces. We considered hotels, restaurants, banquet halls, ballrooms at ballparks, and country clubs for our wedding. This place was the perfect choice. There are hotels nearby and the hotels can shuttle your guests. Ample parking on site. It is as beautiful as it is practical.

ry first meeting with Tammie, we were welcomed as if we were a part of the family. Tammie was truly great to work with from start to finish, always having prompt responses to any questions/addressing any concerns. They were open to our suggestions, needs, and more than willing to accommodate us. Tammie, Don, and their entire staff went above and beyond during the planning stages, and this continued during and after the event as well. Our guests have had nothing but great things to say about the service and the food! The wedding party also used space at MHCC to get ready before the ceremony (held offsite). The spaces were perfect for our needs and they truly made it feel like our special day from the get go.

to our vision for our wedding and then MADE THAT HAPPEN. The Country Club was beautiful on it's own, but they agreed to let my dad and I come in and transform the club into a wine/fall theme-- and gushed about how amazing it looked. They went above and beyond to help make our vision come through and on the day of kept me stress free (we had to move the cocktail hour inside due to weather). The cocktail hour areas were perfect and roomy. The ballroom was accommodating to our rather large wedding (236 people). They even went along with our late night snack idea (italian hoagies!) and brought them on to the dance floor for our guests. Overall, I am SO happy we went with MHCC and would highly recommend them for weddings or ANY events in the area! Go with Don and Tammie.. they will make your day stress free and incredible!!!

Don, Tammie and all of his team took their worries away. We met a few times before, tasted the food, they even made a certain dish and signature drink I specifically wanted!! They handled so many of the items I thought I would have to worry about, plus, the access to the bridal suite on the day of made it even more special. The servers, bartenders, and all around staff helped when any hiccups came up (I forgot a few things) and executed the night better than I could have ever imagined. A+++++ and thank you SO SO much Montour Team for making my big day so extremely beautiful and easy.

touches that we wanted as an add on. In addition to the normal cocktail hour, I wanted a Pittsburgh station with a chef attended Mash potato bar, macaroni and cheese, and pierogies. While they all thought I was crazy, they delivered and it was perfect!!! The country club itself is beautifully maintained. The grounds are amazing and if it hadn't rained our pictures outside would have been perfect. But, it rained all day which was ok - because inside is just as beautiful. The planning stages were easy! Don and his staff helped us with everything. They guided us through everything we needed and helped in every way possible. During one meeting we talked about the trouble we were having finding a place for our rehearsal dinner and they suggested their bar/grille downstairs. The bar was just remodeled and it is awesome. They set up a BBQ style gathering for us and everything was amazing. The food... I wish I could review the chef separately because OMG is the food amazing. All of our guests keep saying how great it all was. Every time we tasted something during the planning stages we loved it more than the last thing. They definitely know what they are doing. The room set up was beautiful. The staff was very attentive to details and I loved how it all turned out. The best part - there were no issues during the reception and if there was one I didn't know about it. Don was there the entire time and I just had fun! I didn't have to worry about a thing.

So many of our guests have commented on how beautiful and perfect the venue was and the food the best they have ever eaten at a wedding! I would highly recommend Montour Heights to any bride and groom who want their day to be all about them!!

er; including an outdoor ceremony site, cocktails on the terrace, and a reception in the ballroom. Rebecca and Kelly are a delight to work with. Rebecca really listened to what we wanted and understood what worked best for us and our guests. She is very detail orientated and made time to review our wedding plan again and again. Rebecca took some of our small ideas, like having an ice cream sundae bar and signature drinks, ran with them to make our wedding personalized. During the weeks leading up to the wedding the Montour staff coordinated with our vendors to make sure the wedding day went smoothly. Montour also took boxes of decorations we provided and set the spaces up beautifully. One of my favorite moments was arriving at Montour and seeing all of the pieces come together. We've received nothing but compliments from all of our guests who loved the food and the atmosphere.

before the wedding we found out that we were not receiving everything that we thought we were because of it. The club did everything they could to make the day amazing in spite of our issues, and they really pulled through. The cocktail hour on the patio was PERFECT!!! Looking back, I'm so happy we chose this venue. Our guests loved it, and so did we! A big shout out to Kelly, the event designer, who was wonderful and did everything she could to make our reception beautiful!!!
