We hired Monumental Music for our wedding ceremony and reception in Lead, SD on September 5th. James was excellent with communication and making sure things were organized. He was...
professional and made sure to check in with us throughout the night to make sure things were on track . We had one major issue that unfortunately left us disappointed. It was 90 degrees outside and our ceremony was on top of the mountain. A couple of minutes into our ceremony the microphones quit working leaving our officiant to talk loudly and most of our guests being unable to hear most of the ceremony including our vows. The music that was suppose to play during our unity ceremony also wouldn't work leaving a very awkward moment for all involved.
Luckily James was at least able to get the system working again for our exit music. We were told the technical glitch was due to his system overheating but it ultimately took away from a very important moment that can't be redone and we paid a lot of money for our ceremony to have microphones which ultimately failed.

exible (it was a coin toss day for rain), had a great attitude, and was even earlier than he said he would be. As it was a beautiful night, most guests were outside enjoying the scenery instead of on the dance floor. That didn’t bother James one bit, and he said ‘they can enjoy the music outside, too’. His music choices and sound system were great (and eventually people did come back inside and danced!). I highly recommend James, and thank you again for being a great wedding DJ!
