We were married in the Moody Gardens Floral Ballroom in November 2022. The hotel is connected right next door making it easy for our guest to return to the rooms at the end of the ...
evening. The Floral Ballroom space offers so many opportunities for couples to design their wedding based on what best fits their needs.
We were able to split the Floral Ballroom giving us a ceremony space and reception space right next door to each other. One of our goals was ensure our guest did not have to do much travel once they arrived for the wedding. It worked perfectly.
The food and service was on point. Everything was so yummy!
The staff at Moody Gardens, especially Megan Salazar, were able to work with us to make our day perfect and exactly what we wanted.
The staff at Moody Gardens treated us like family! They went above and beyond to make sure our day was stress free and exactly how we had envisioned it. We had our ceremony outside...
in the Herb Garden and we got so many compliments from our guests regarding how beautiful the space was! (ps. no extra costs for flowers needed) We also had a back up weather space, that made me feel calm, no matter the weather that day. Our reception was held in the Floral Ballroom and the flow from ceremony, to cocktail hour to reception was SO smooth! We also got tons of compliments on our meal choices (especially the shrimp!!). I would definitely recommend Moody Gardens to other brides who want a wedding day that is relaxed and stress free! I kid you not, having everything in one space made the day so relaxing! I wasn't worried about moving stuff to different spaces or getting in a car and traveling somewhere else. Everything happened on the property and transportation around (via shuttles) was provided. Our wedding day was truly the best day ever and I honestly believe that is attributed to the staff at Moody Gardens!

m both nights. The floral ballroom is huge and there was plenty of room to walk around and in between tables. r you sign a contract and put down a deposit, there is still a possiblity that a month or even a week before your wedding you will find out that they have booked a wedding almost directly on top of yours on the same location on the property or perhaps they up and decide to move your reception hall to a different location on the property. Yep, it's true. It not only happened to me, but it also happened to another person I know that got married there after I did. It is the most horrible and sickening thing that can happen to a stressed out Bride planning the perfect wedding!!
