a 40 person family style rehearsal dinner followed by a 90 person cocktail reception in their private room. The food, drinks, staff, and ambience were outstanding. lly served there (we had an oyster bar!). All of our guests time and time again tell us that it was one of their favorite experiences and venues. The servers were all lovely and the food was delicious - it was also great because we got a live band to perform on the bandstand. They made the evening so special for us and we are beyond grateful!

antastic service staff, attentive without being intrusive. Family style menu was incredible and plentiful. Every dish seemed to be better than the last, and that is saying a lot since the first was delicious. Absolutely everyone raved about the evening. Don't tell management, but truly worth twice what they charged!!

Julia Murphy

Coordinator

Julia got her start in the wedding industry on the East Coast. Working for a restaurant that catered to weddings big and small, she was able to learn the intricacies of planning the perfect event as well as finding her passion for seeing people smile on their big day. After moving to Truckee 8 years ago, she was unable to find a place that felt like a perfect place to host a wedding until she started working at Moody's. The combination of everything Moody's has to offer made her realize it was the perfect fit.
