Tommy & Trevor are amazing! Not only are they just a friendly and easy going duo, but they really know what they’re doing. They know how to direct the crowd and keep them entertained/having fun. They were one of the first vendors we picked because the music was really important to us. We wanted a mixture of live music along with regular DJ selections, so it worked out perfectly. They sent us a list of their best of live selections plenty early, and I didn’t have a doubt that my friends and family would love their style. We wanted a specific song played live for our first dance that my sister would sing to, and they coordinated with her ahead of time to make sure they were all prepared to do it live. It was amazing! (And so special). They are really the best in the area, made that part of wedding planning easy, and coordinated all of the vendors the day-of to make sure things went smoothly. We highly recommend them!

My husband and I loved working with Tommy as our wedding DJ! This past year, he was such a pleasure to work with. Tommy is professional, a great responder and communicator, open to our ideas and what was important to us, and so talented! We got married at the Sea Pines Resort in Hilton Head Island! Harden & Crenshaw were amazing throughout the whole process of planning and the day of. He was very timely with responding to emails and calls; he was super organized with the planning of the ceremony and reception music; and very helpful to give suggestions in areas we couldn't decide. He was familiar with our wedding site and communicated great with our wedding coordinator. They played live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour; and our family an friends loved it! We got so many compliments on their live performance! And they switched to DJ for our reception; our friends and families loved how they did the music for our bridal party to be introduced; and everyone was on the floor dancing all night! Forget the beautiful view of the Savannah river, forget the delicious food at our reception, forget the gorgeous flower arrangements...Harden and Crenshaw were truly the highlight of our wedding! My husband and I chose Vic's on the River in Savannah for our wedding ceremony and our reception. Harden and Crenshaw were already familiar with the venue so they were able to offer insight and great ideas. We knew that we did not want a DJ for the entire evening so the fact that H & C are live musicians AND DJs made it perfect! I chose to walk into "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles and they sang it beautifully! After our ceremony, they entertained our guests with music from The Eagles, James Taylor, Van Morrison, The Beatles, The Doors and even took requests. For the last bit of our reception, they turned into DJs and played some fun dance music and had our guests on their feet! Harden and Crenshaw were amazing to work with. They arranged numerous phone calls with us since we were planning from Washington, DC. They offered tons of suggestions and advice. But they also listened to everything we had to say. They even asked my husband what he was wearing so that they could blend nicely! They were early to arrive/set up and really made the evening feel seamless. After our first phone call, I was 100% sure we had made the right choice. Every single one of our wedding guests commented on our selection of Harden and Crenshaw. Every age guest enjoyed them. My aunt even decided she wanted to start dating again so she could get married and hire them! These guys are super talented and I am SO GLAD we chose them for our wedding AND our reception!

I cannot thank Tommy and Trevor enough for everything they did to make our wedding the best day of our lives. Our dinner music was lovely, first dances and toasts went off without a hitch and are so memorable, and it made my heart so happy to have our loved ones out on the dance floor all night long. Choosing reception music felt like a daunting task before I found them online and from there it was the easiest process, even fun, and they took the stress out of the whole process.

I have nothing but good things to say about moon river productions. They made everything so simple and were professional throughout the whole process. They even made a special dance mix 2 days before the wedding after my dad decided to do a last minute father daughter dance! They made it happen! Working with Moon River Productions might have been the best decision we made when planning our wedding. It was apparent from the start that Tom had a wealth of experience, and his communication leading up to the big day was exactly what you'd expect from a premier vendor. My wife is Venezuelan, so we needed half of our songs to be salsa/merengue. This didn't phase Moon River Productions and the guests loved his ability to transition between the songs. Our wedding day was perfect and Tom was a major factor in making that happen. Highly, HIGHLY recommended.

We have been lucky to get Harden and Crenshaw for two of my children's wedding events--even changed a date for the second so that they could play. They are such talented musicians, and such wonderful people that they are able to accommodate most any request and even customized some special lyrics! Every age raved about them from their dinner/background songs to dancing through the rain. They don't take over your night, but what they do is ensure you are having a great time with their pace and perceptiveness. If my third gets married locally, I'll be calling them again! THE BEST

Having had the pleasure of attending wedding receptions at which the entertainment was provided by Tommy and Trevor of Moon River Productions, when it came time to start the planning for our daughter’s wedding here on Hilton Head Island, there was no question who we would hire. Tommy and Trevor do not only serve as DJs during the wedding reception, they are both very talented musicians who provide live music (guitars and vocals) before and after the ceremony and during the cocktail hour. Since our daughter is a musician herself, when the wedding planning began she told us the most important part of her wedding to her would be the music, and she considers herself somewhat of a “music snob!” She lives out of state so she only knew what we were telling her about how exceptional these two were and she was definitely skeptical about having them for her wedding. As time went on and she began to communicate with Tommy and Trevor, she realized how accomplished and professional they were and how committed they were to making her wedding experience just what she wanted it to be. They certainly did not disappoint he, or us, or any of our guests. We had many comments from our guests about how great the musicians were, and what a wonderful atmosphere they set for the ceremony and the whole evening. At the beginning of the evening Tommy and Trevor performed music of numerous genres, and during the reception kept things very lively and had many people on the dance floor throughout the evening. The best compliment that we could share with Tommy and Trevor came after the wedding when our daughter said, “You were right, Mom and Dad. They were great and definitely the perfect choice for what I wanted and envisioned for my wedding.”

Tommy and Trevor we can't thank you both enough!! If anyone is looking for talented and fun entertainment in the lowcountry these two are your guys!! They played guitar and sang during our outdoor ceremony at Sea Pines which was AMAZING!! All our guests absolutely loved it, and they were able to play certain songs we were hoping for! They then switched and DJ'd our reception! Our guests truly had a great time and we can't thank them enough for keeping everyone dancing!! :) Thank you again!!!

Harden & Crenshaw/ Moon River Productions exceeded our expectations for our Wedding at Palmetto Bluff! Tommy and Trevor answered all of my questions quickly throughout the process and also gave us great advice on some things we weren't sure of! They are professional and obviously, sound amazing! All of our guests raved about the music played live and recorded throughout the night! I highly recommend them for ceremony, cocktail, dinner and reception music! Hands down the very best in the Bluffton/Hilton Head area!

We could not have asked for better DJs for our wedding in April!! Tommy was wonderful from the first contact and was very receptive to our wishes. On the wedding day, Tommy and Trevor did a wonderful job with live guitar music for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Of course as the bride and groom, we did not get to hear much of it due to pictures, etc, however what we did hear was awesome and our guests raved about them. Transitioning to DJ mode for dinner and dancing, they were just as great. Their set up is very minimal which is great to allow for more dancing room, however it did not affect the sound in any way. It was fantastic!! Our guests were on the floor dancing ALL night due to awesome song choices. I would choose them again in a heartbeat!

The presentation and everything was great, however they didn't start playing our playlist we sent until my husband said something to them which was half way into the reception. Therefore most of our favorite songs weren't played. I was also told my first dance with my dad was going to be played live and it wasn't. Which was ok, just wish I would have known. If you want a DJ to just play whatever and have no specifics then they are great! If you want specific songs played, they might not be the best option.

Tom and Trevor did a FANTASTIC job at our wedding this past December. We highly recommend them for future brides and grooms. They sang beautifully with their guitars and have a wide range of songs they sing!! They also give you the option to mix in MP3 songs. We got SO many compliments from our guest that it was the most enjoyable music they'd ever heard at a wedding. We can't wait to get back down to HHI and hear them play again. Moon River was awesome! It was so amazing to have an acoustic duet for cocktail hour. It was a special touch to the night without adding a huge expense. And their DJing was great! Would highly recommend to anyone!

Where do I even begin!? Tommy and Trevor are absolutely incredible. Our wedding was on October 1, 2016, and our guests are still raving about Tommy and Trevor to this day. Our guests kept telling us that this was the best wedding they had ever attended, which is truly a testament to how amazing these two guys are. They had everyone on the dance floor the entire night. It was hot and humid, but the guests just couldn't stop dancing! Aside from their incredible talent, they are also a delight to work with. They are very attentive, accommodating and always on top of their game. We never had to worry, because they just got our vision for the music and totally nailed it!

Moon River was such a great find for our wedding! They played live guitar music for our cocktail hour and through dinner and then transitioned to DJ mode for dancing after dinner. It was the best of both worlds and it looked like we paid so much money to have both but it was surprisingly affordable! We received such great reviews from our guests-everyone thought that they had great range in their music selection (from older songs to the newest releases) and that they had great voices! We had not hear them live so I was a bit nervous when booking them based on their website sound bites but so glad that we did. They were not too loud either and sang at just the right level so we could still have normal conversations during dinner. They were also very professional, was very timely in replying to our emails, and was on time for setups and breakdowns. This was very important to us as we are from out of town and wanted to be sure that everything goes as smoothly and effortlessly as possible. They were true to their advertisement about not being the cheesy traditional wedding singers. Their announcements were also done elegantly and professionally. They didn't take any extra liberties with the microphone. They are a class act, very talented, and we are very lucky to work with them!!

Everyone raved about the live music and once they switched over to DJ mode it was non stop dancing! We had so much fun and everyone is still talking about the music! These guys are simply the best! Using anyone else would be a mistake, they make the planning process incredibly easy and on the day of our wedding they exceeded all expectations. Moon River Productions gave us everything we wanted for our wedding and more! Entertainment was my grooms priority and we are so pleased with Moon River Productions. We worked with Tommy Crenshaw - who was extremely helpful in making our visions come true. Anything we requested, he arranged, from a string duo, to a acoustic cocktail hour, and of course made the reception a blast for all of our guests to party and celebrate our marriage! He was extremely quick to respond to any question I had. Anytime I sent out a email -I knew I could expect a response the next time I checked my email (which was VERY frequent). I could rely on Tommy that everything was taken care of. It made me more comfortable and I could worry about other things. Our day was filled with moments that were very special to us and our guests could get a feel of the type of couple we were. Tommy made those special personalized music moments happen for us. Not just by a seamless integration of our song choices during the reception but also arranged a special request of the Star Wars theme to be played by the string duo for our processional, which brought one of the biggest smiles to our faces. We cant thank Moon River Productions enough. They did a wonderful job!

I can speak highly enough about these gentlemen! They did a fabulous job at my wedding. I was nervous booking everything from out of state and planning a destination wedding. They were great to me and made everything calm and easy for me as far as booking and paying and setting up our song list. I had them play live for my ceremony and cocktail reception and they made the night so special for us. Having live music during the ceremony was one of the best decisions I could have made. They took time to work on a song I really wanted for the ceremony and they were actually able to play it for us which was not something I was expecting them to do. I had said I really wanted the song but they could use a recording since it was not on their list of live songs. The day of the wedding as the ceremony ended and they played it live for us was truly amazing. They went above and beyond to make this day so special for my husband and myself. The cocktail hour was great everyone was up and dancing around while they played (my daughter even requesting non wedding songs for them to play). They are the best! I highly recommend booking them. The pricing they offer is great for the service they provide I feel like we got a steal having them perform live and DJing the reception later in the night!

Amazing duo in the Lowcountry! So happy with their work! Played live for ceremony and DJ for reception at our golf club wedding. Great sound and personalities. These guys were absolutely AMAZING! Tom was a delight to work with from day one, super easy to work with helping navigate the song selection process. They even agreed to learn a new arrangement to accompany my MOH, who planned to sing for the first dance. They nailed the arrangement and the performance was spot on, I couldn't even believe it was live. The live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour was perfect, and the song selection for the evening was great - our guests danced the night away, and even the little ones had a blast on the dance floor! We loved working with Tommy and Trevor. I contacted them at the last minute when I realized some other entertainment plans fell through! I am so thankful our other entertainment plans fell though because Trevor's performance was more than we could have ever hoped for! I highly recommend these guys for any and all functions!

Gary and I highly recommend Harden and Crenshaw. Their sound was incredible. Live acoustic is their specialty but are just as phenomenal as DJs. The acoustic music gave the ceremony and cocktail hour such a laid back, beachy feel. The songs played were so personal for us. The dance music ranged from current to old school which got everyone on the floor from the youngest to the oldest. Harden and Crenshaw definitely exceeded our expectations.

Harden and Crenshaw was a great choice for our ceremony music and Dj'ed reception! Tom and Trevor sang before/after the ceremony and sounded amazing! They were super easy to work with and really took care of everything. We filled out minimal paperwork creating a list of "must plays" and "do not plays", they let our family and friends make requests. People were on the dance floor the ENTIRE night! These guys were awesome! I contacted them and they responded right away. I loved the fact that they offer live music as well as DJ services. It was just what I wanted all in one place! They performed live at the ceremony and cocktail hour, then switched into DJ mode for the reception. Not only are they extremely talented performers, but they had the dance floor full all night! I was concerned because our families are very different with different tastes in music, but it was like they knew exactly what to play to get everyone on the dance floor. My aunt and uncle even got out there and cut loose... I had never seen them dance before! Harden and Crenshaw provided us with music during our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception on 9/19/15 at the Port Royal Golf Club. I can't tell you enough how awesome they were! They provided us with quick responses to our many questions via email, and played every song we requested. They even took requests during the reception. The acoustic guitars for the beach ceremony followed by indoor reception music, moving to DJ-mode for late night dancing was the perfect combination. The live music at the ceremony and the DJ music at the reception were performed exactly as we had planned with them. Moon River Productions offered discounts for weekday contracts which was helpful too. They communicated with us throughout the planning process in a timely manner. In addition, they communicated with our wedding planner too. This made it easy to complete the music portion of the wedding planning process. Their website contains a lot of great information about their live performance style, and sample recordings. This was important for us since we were from Pennsylvania and had no way of seeing them perform live before my daughter's wedding. Tommy and Trevor are outstanding live performers. I am from CT so planning a destination wedding in Hilton Head made me a little nervous being 900 miles away. One of my first calls was to Tom Crenshaw of Moon River Productions, and right away I trusted I was in good hands. The planning process with Tom and Trevor was completely stress-free and easy. They handled all of the technical details and worked directly with my wedding coordinator so we didn't have to worry about anything. I really felt like during this time, not only were they completely organized and on top of things, they did a good job getting to know us. Also during this time, we probably called and emailed them way too much, but they were always responsive and assuring that everything was all set on their end. The actual wedding, I can't even begin to tell you how perfect they were. They played live music before our ceremony began while people were getting seated, and it set the most beautiful and intimate mood. Beyond talented musicians- My guests are still raving. The music during the ceremony was also completely perfect. The reception continued in the same direction. Not only did they have a complete idea of what we were looking for in terms of music, they really paid attention to the crowd and picked an excellent playlist and kept the party going! I really could go on and on about these two gentlemen. So professional, so organized, and so completely talented and entertaining! If you book them as your DJ and/or live music, they will make you feel like their most important client, and they will be sure your wedding is everything you're looking for!

We selected Moon River Productions for our March wedding in Hilton Head, SC. Tom Crenshaw was a delight to work with from start to finish- very organized and calming to talk to on the phone! They are affordable and reasonably priced- especially for their ability to play and sing live music as well as DJ! We had Tom and his crew sing and play live during our ceremony, and they were already familiar with several of our worship and secular song choices. They also performed a fabulous live cocktail hour for us before beautifully and seamlessly transitioning into DJ mode for the dinner and dancing portions of the evening! We used Harden & Crenshaw for our cocktail hour and reception at a late November wedding at Port Royal Golf Club. From the start, Tommy was very responsive, upbeat and friendly! When we discovered that they did BOTH live music and DJ services, that was an added bonus! My parents and I went to see them play live at a local restaurant (another perk - you can go enjoy a cold one and their music beforehand so you know the feel!) and asked them to send us the contract that night! They are great, know a million songs, and got the crowd involved. Leading up to the event, they took our requests into consideration, had an easy form to fill out that covered the basics of how the night would go, and worked with our venue coordinator at Port Royal to get set up and ready - no stress for us! We had them play acoustic at the cocktail hour and they sounded great and really livened up the patio and gave our guests a welcome and warm feeling to start the night off! Perfect for a destination wedding on the island :) After cocktail hour, they turned into a DJ and were very professional announcing the wedding party and keeping all of the speeches/dances on schedule. The rest of the time, they were playing music that kept the dance floor hopping ALL night! They told me they'd be sure to include music that all ages could dance to with a variety of everything, and they delivered for sure! We got many compliments and had a blast... every time I'd get off the floor for a break or to chat with guests, I'd hear the next song and run back out there :) I'd highly recommend Tom and Trevor for your wedding (or other event) - they were the perfect mix, very kind, reasonably priced, and genuine.
