We had the most beautiful wedding experience at Moon Shadow Haven! From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was special. Everything about the property was stunning, peaceful...
, and so well maintained. The atmosphere made our day feel magical and unforgettable. We genuinely loved everything about Moon Shadow Haven and are so thankful we chose it for our wedding day. It gave us memories we will cherish forever, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a gorgeous wedding venue with an incredible atmosphere!
Absolutely stunning and so easy to work with. The venue itself truly doesn’t need much décor—the chandeliers and overall style speak for themselves. The chapel is just as beautiful...
, and the on-site lodging was a huge plus. We worked with both Megan and Libby throughout the process, and Megan was our venue coordinator on wedding day. She went above and beyond and was incredibly hands-on. I would 1000% recommend them and hiring their in house coordinator to run your wedding day. (we hired externally and wish I just hired them)
We couldn’t be happier with our daughter’s wedding in October! Not only is the venue beautiful, the owners and staff are top notch! They were very attentive, professional, friend...
ly, and knowledgeable. Our day of coordinator, Libby, was always available for questions leading up to the day. We couldn’t have gotten through wedding day without her. She was quick to solve problems and did everything possible to keep the day running smoothly. We can’t say enough good things about her. We felt like family by the end of the process. Scott also went above and beyond insuring a special day. And always with a smile! The cabins/house were perfect for our family! Clean, cute, and comfortable. And the outside sitting areas throughout the property allowed our family lots of space for making memories. Thank you for everything! We would love to have another event at your beautiful venue!
Moon Shadow Haven was perfect for us in every aspect of us having a lot of out of town family needing accommodations, they even made let us make other arrangements for the people w...
e have that wouldn’t fit in the cabins! Which was awesome! The main hall didn’t need much and my simple, elegant reception was gorgeous! I also had the pleasure of working closely with Scott and Megan and they were also the most helpful, kind people that kept me and my fiance on track and smooth! 10/10 would do it all over again, and not change a single thing! Thank you Jane ☺️

ication from them. Jim and Jane we so incredible! From our first meeting with them, we knew this was where we would hold our wedding. Communicating and making payments to them over time was so easy, and everyone at the venue really seemed like they genuinely cared about us! They truly did not just care about getting our business, they wanted to make our wedding weekend as amazing as possible! We chose to book the venue for the entire weekend, which was extremely nice because we had access to the venue from Friday through Sunday, which allowed us plenty of time to get settled in, set everything up, and get everything taken back down the next day. When it came to our wedding weekend, everyone was so kind and helpful! They were consistently communicating with us to make sure they had everything in line for the day. Libby was great and did so much more than we even hoped she would, helping direct the bridal party, coordinating with the photographers/ DJ, and making sure everything was running smoothly! They were also consistently doing work to make sure everything stayed up to snuff. It seemed like they hardly took a break that weekend as they were doing grounds work the night before, cleaning up the venue day of to make sure there weren't any leaves or dirt on the walkways, setting up the chairs before we even realized it, and checking in with the bridal party and vendors to make sure they had everything they needed. They even came by the night before as I was relaxing and chatting with my groomsmen to build a fire for us, which was a small gesture but made us feel like they genuinely just wanted us to enjoy our time! Not to mention the fact that the venue itself is gorgeous, giving us a stunning spot for the ceremony itself as well as the reception and taking photos. If we were doing it again we would 100% go with Moon Shadow Haven, and I highly recommend you consider them for your event! They were incredible and we have 0 regrets or hold ups about Moon Shadow Haven from booking all the way through the wedding day!
This was our perfect venue on our 7/3 Wedding. it exceeded all our excited expectations. From Libby, our coordinator (who is totally worth it and a God-Send), to Mr Jim and Mrs Jan...
e, and Scott…they were all excellent in giving us tremendous service, communication, value, and the most beautiful venue around! We highly recommend it!

overall outcome. I could not have asked for a more perfect day! But it would not have happened without Moon Shadow Haven. Our day of coordinator, Libby, did such an amazing job making sure I had nothing to worry about. The chapel we held our ceremony in is breathtaking on its own but I was able to customize it exactly how I wanted to. All decorations I brought with me I was able to use, and they even let me use some of theirs as well!! (I highly recommend taking a peak at their storage space filled with some really amazing decorative pieces) I met one of the owners at a bridal expo, and after one conversation with him I knew I had to go check it out in person. While attending multiple open houses hosted by Moon Shadow Haven at their venue, I found almost all of my vendors as well!! Even met a wonderful lady who owns a bridal shop where I found THE dress, one stop too! If the gorgeous Texas hill country, chapel, reception hall, outdoor cocktail area, and even being able to rent cabins on site and spend a weekend with your favorite people isn’t enough, then the kind hearted people who run the place surely will! Thank you so much Moon Shadow Haven!
Moon Shadow Haven was a dream come true!! Jim and Jane are such sweet and kind individuals. They allowed us the time we needed to prepare for our day and their team was so helpful ...
in making sure that everything was ready. They gave great suggestions throughout the weekend to help us prepare and keep our guests feeling welcomed. Our guests kept talking about the beauty of the venue weeks after our day. Some of our vendors had not been to this venue and loved the layout and convenience for them. This place is truly amazing and well thought out!! We loved it and wish we could be there every weekend!

want a venue that is flexible with outside vendors, then look no further. We had our own outside food caterer, bar tenders, liquor, etc. Jim and Jane are also amazing!! They worked with us whenever we had questions about the venue and they respond fast! I can’t say enough nice and amazing things about Jim and Jane and Moon Shadow Haven. Book it, you won’t be disappointed!!
Moon shadow haven is a great place to host your wedding. We had ours in early April of this year and I have to say it was awesome! The venue itself is beautiful and getting married...
outside by the water and in nature was perfect. They have a chapel in case of weather or if you prefer indoors but we opted for outdoors. The owners are cool, chill, and easy to work with. The staff was also very nice supportive and made all the extra details easier to maintain. My wife rented out the cabins for our wedding party and we all had a blast there the whole weekend. This place was the fourth or fifth place we looked at. And even tho it’s a little bit of a drive to get there it’s well Worth it. My wife and I were very pleased and highly recommend this venue :)

The layout of the venue is so beautiful and made my 150 count wedding feel intimate. Especially fond of the amount of natural light. No regrets here!

to help at every turn. The venue is beautiful and a nice peaceful getaway not too far from San Antonio. The venue will speak for itself once you see it, but what sets the place apart is Jim and Jane's hospitality and attentiveness.

he place (the pure beauty of the land is breathtaking)! They didn't treat us like many other wedding venue tours I had been on, we had an instant connection and felt like family! Our original date was 10/10/20, but due to the pandemic was pushed back to 10/30/21. They were so sweet and understanding when we made the decision to move the date. Leading up to the wedding, their communication, helpfulness and willingness to assist with whatever was needed was so appreciated! We stayed the weekend and rented the cabins, had our ceremony by the river and our reception in the lodge. We loved staying on the property to have each side of our family to come together and enjoy the peacefulness - of course, the Moon Shadow Haven crew was there to make us feel welcome! I honestly can't say enough how lucky my husband and I feel to have found this group of people, this venue to have our special day. My family and friends still talk about how amazing these people are and how beautiful the wedding was! THANK YOU SO MUCH! (I can go on and on about the extra special touches and extra things they did for us that was completely unexpected - they just genuinely want their brides and grooms to have the best experience possible and it shows!)
