DJ Sawyer Tahoe

ts at the reception, and kept the party going through to very last dance . The dance floor was always full and he kept playing the hits and we've had friends/family reach out to us afterward to say how much fun they had and how great of a job he did. Thank you so much, Sawyer!

ly set the tone for the reception, kept the good vibes going all night long, and made sure that everything ran smoothly from start to finish. He was so easy to work with and has such a chill , laid-back vibe. He was worth every penny and truly helped made our wedding day the best day ever!! I couldn't recommend him enough!!

made. From the beginning he got to know us and was professional and patient with us. I can honestly say he helped us through the whole process from beginning to end and seems to know everyone in the wedding business to give great recommendations. The day of the wedding he showed up and treated us like family. It felt like we had our big brother as our Dj. It was a small wedding and he not only made sure everything was perfect but he made all of our guests feel welcomed and made sure everyone had a good time. I can’t stress enough how he makes you feel like family, he does not just show up and do his job… he treats your wedding as if it were his little sisters, even stepping in to help when we had issues with our venue and he may have had to be a bouncer for us as well! There’s not enough stars to give Sawyer or enough words to describe how you need him for your wedding

weddings while still making sure we, as the bride and groom, remained in control of our vision for the day. Every phone call and planning meeting was thoughtful, organized, and detailed. He truly listened to what we wanted and offered valuable feedback from his years of experience on how to keep the day flowing smoothly while ensuring our guests felt comfortable and engaged. When our wedding day arrived, everything unfolded exactly as we had planned throughout the months of preparation. The transitions were seamless, the energy was perfect, and the entire evening flowed effortlessly. And when it came time for the dance party, DJ Sawyer absolutely delivered! The dance floor stayed packed, and our guests had an amazing time. We are so grateful for his professionalism, guidance, and ability to bring our vision to life. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ on our wedding day!

and welcoming, and stressed that HE takes on many hats during the wedding day and evening. Having been to a wedding where Sawyer was the DJ, Tyler and I just knew we had to have him at our wedding! Getting to be the bride and groom and work with Sawyer personally was amazing. Sawyer is organized, thoughtful, and just so much fun to talk to. Seeing him the morning of the wedding put me at ease, and wow - he handled all of the details so smoothly. I literally didn’t stress once during the day and evening! Now for the entertainment- Sawyer knows how to through a party. I felt like all of our guests were having an amazing time- and the dance floor was always packed (which is important to me)! A detail about Sawyer that I really liked is that he told me he watches the dance floor and plays music to the vibe of the dance floor. He is seriously a professional, and just a great guy overall. I had a lot of guests compliment him personally and how fun our music and dance floor were! Thank you Sawyer!!! Wish we could do it all over again! Katie & Tyler

g, and I was!), he also helped us shape our wedding timeline, shot great little videos for social media, and worked so easily with the rest of our wedding team. Would recommend him for any party! Thank you, Sawyer :)

ery first phone call, his enthusiasm was infectious. We shared our vision for a "Pink Pony Club" dance featuring inflatable costumes, and he didn’t just say yes—he leaned in with genuine excitement. On the day of, he arrived impeccably dressed in a tuxedo to match our "black formal" dress code, showing a level of respect for our vision that set the tone for the entire night. A Safe Haven and an Artist: As a gay couple, finding vendors who make you feel completely seen and safe is paramount. Sawyer wasn't just a professional; he was a sanctuary for us. He is more than a DJ; he is a sound artist. We gave him the freedom to mix from our playlist, and his transitions were seamless and inspired. What touched us most, however, was how he handled a deeply personal surprise. I wanted to play a voice recording of myself just before walking down the aisle. I was incredibly nervous about sharing such a vulnerable moment with a "stranger," but Sawyer immediately put me at ease. He protected that secret fiercely and executed the moment perfectly. It was one of the most precious memories of our lives. The Full Experience: Vigilance & Care: Sawyer was there for us every step of the way, ensuring our day was stress-free. He even went so far as to stand watch from above during our first look to ensure no one entered that part of the beach or wandered into the background of our photos. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the small details couples often overlook, touching base often to guide us through the timeline with grace. His contagious energy is a reflection of a beautiful heart, and Denise is an equally wonderful soul who helped create these epic moments. If our wedding coordinator was our right-hand woman, Sawyer was undeniably our left-hand man. Sawyer is a must-have. He didn't just play music; he helped protect and celebrate our love. Everything he did was, quite honestly, perfect. Pro-Tip for Couples: You must get the upgraded lighting package! It made the dance floor an absolute blast, and seeing our professional photos afterward, the lighting truly brought the entire room to life.

the ride, using his years of experience and love for music to keep all your guests on the dance floor and having a wonderful celebration!  We had the best time working with DJSawyer from our first phone call to the wedding. You can’t go wrong choosing DJSawyer. Everything was flawless from mics, to cues, to transitions, and the music quality. And from us, thank you again Dj Sawyer. Hope all is well with you!

ing helping us get some of our decor up to Lakeview lodge- not an easy venue to transport things to but so worth it. He kept the dance floor packed and the unexpectedly long guest speeches in check. He also helped us make our first dance fun and not too long- no pressure. I would highly recommend DJ Sawyer for a wedding. He made our day stress free.

and many guests have told us this was the most fun wedding they have ever attended. Sawyer took into account our requests while also assessing the vibe of the wedding and threw in some fun songs that really got the party going, with transitions that were seriously next level. DJ Sawyer was also just extremely easy to work with- he is experienced and professional, required minimal direction from us, and kept the entire event flowing, from the start of the ceremony, through the end of the night. He is more than just a DJ and truly was a key part of what made our wedding so unforgettable.

edible DJ and emcee!

ing for ceremony songs and a pre-ceremony dance party, and DJ Sawyer delivered on all our particular requests and took it above and beyond. He is super charismatic for any announcements as well. He took our song inspiration and elevated it and matched the vibe of the dance party. He mixed songs together for some fun transitions and mixes that nobody expected which was beyond our expectations. We had such a magical night and so did our guests! Next time I would try to remember to get behind the DJ booth too!

eally delivered the best party of our lives! We could reiterate what other couples have said before us: DJ Sawyer doesn't do corny overplayed wedding songs, he brings his own set-up and will provide mics, as well as MC for you. He's responsive and vibey....but, that doesn't really encompass how he contributed to our wedding day.  Sawyer is thoughtful. When he noticed our late-night bites came out and the dance floor emptied from all of our friends, he adjusted the music accordingly and started to play Vietnamese music because our families were still there. We never asked him to play Vietnamese music. First of all, how do you even know Vietnamese party music and how did you adapt so quickly?  Sawyer is creative. We gave him 3 playlists for inspiration (cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception), but otherwise gave him creative freedom. He had the best remixes to songs that kept us on the dance floor all night. How do you have such an expansive, eclectic repertoire and seamlessly transition them?   Sawyer is more than just a professional vendor. He's a friend who truly cares about your personal experience with him and strives to make your wedding day as special as you deserve. He truly spends the time with you as a couple to reassure, give creative perspective and assuage your worries with care.  DJ Sawyer is the best in the business and you would be doing yourselves a favor to have him as part of your vendor team. We did and were lucky to have him.

and Carl Bush (sax artist) absolutely crushed it together. Sawyer read the room perfectly, kept the energy high, and made sure the dance floor was packed all night. The timing for transitions, announcements, and special moments was spot on, and they elevated the entire experience beyond what we imagined. We got so many compliments from our guests about how fun and seamless the music was. Seriously the best most fun day ever!!

ests complimenting our DJ choice! Sawyer is also incredibly professional and easy to work with. From the first phone call to the day of the event, he was engaged, responsive and made sure to understand exactly what kind of vibe we wanted. He also had great suggestions when we weren’t sure what song would be the best fit. We would recommend him to anyone!! Thank you Sawyer! Nicole & Kevin

gestions on the timeline and ideas on various things we wanted done. During the event he played music in a way that kept the vibe going as he continuously read the audience, as well as observing the guests and how the event was progressing along. He also helped so much with the timeline to ensure everything ran smoothly, coordinating with our photographer and videographer as well as food servers... and coming up with ideas as the event moved along to make different things in the timeline work out for the better. He helped make our event amazing and run smoothly! Anyone who hires him for their event will not regret it. Thanks Sawyer! Denise & Russ

d our guests. Sawyer is an amazing DJ and so much more. I remember him bringing us champagne, helping with our cake and checking in with us through the night in subtle ways. Sawyer is organized and flexible and really made us feel at ease. He is available, kind, communicative and a lot of fun. I cannot thank him enough for making out wedding more than we could ever ask for. Highly recommend.

ves at ease from the day I first spoke with him till the last minute of our wedding day, he kept the party going and made the day go so smoothly and natural. I can’t even tell you how many people day of and after our wedding have told me he was the best dj they have ever heard!! He fit right in almost as if he had been apart of my family forever! His energy and vibe radiated all night long and was so contagious. Sawyer will definitely leave a huge imprint on your day and I’m SO grateful we booked him. If you want a non stop party he is your man. You will not regret it!

wedding/event flowing and is great at reading a crowd. He went above and beyond on our wedding day to ensure everyone felt comfortable. He did a lot of little things that a DJ typically wouldn't do. I 100% recommend Sawyer for your event.

of the way. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how great the DJ was—he kept the party going all night long! We could not recommend Sawyer enough to anyone planning a wedding or big event. Truly just the best!!!

o the last. Leading up to the big day, I had major decision/task paralysis; we filled out part of his super helpful music questionnaire but didn’t finish picking some key songs. It was totally no stress for Sawyer though — he literally said, “I got this,” and then chose songs that were even better than what we would’ve picked ourselves. He got us and our crowd so well -- at one point, without any prompting, he dropped Bay Area rap — and our SF-based crowd went wild. It was like he knew exactly what our guests wanted before we did. So many of our friends asked for his info afterward — he’s that good. Super easy to work with, insanely talented, and just an all-around vibe. Book him now!!!

ould do us right - and boy did he deliver. He literally made the night so extra special! We've had so many people ask for our wedding playlist and we're so proud to share it was a one of a kind playlist saywer put together to fit the vibes perfectly. Highly recommend for all events!!! we hope to work with him again.

ore their speeches & honestly helped us plan our our entire evening of events and kept us to the timeline. He pumped tunes while photos were happening before the ceremony, which doesn’t sound like a huge deal but it completely changed the vibes of the photos in the most comforting way and everyone was immediately impressed. And now to the fun part… he couldn’t have read the party full of people better. He played the BEST variety of music. We wanted more of a DJ set with mixes and surprises and more of an EDM/house feel. He delivered that but also did SOOOO much more. Felt like we were at a festival with all our favorite people! He kept the entire party (young and old) on the dance floor the entire night. He made EVERYONE feel included in the party and we couldn’t be more grateful. The videos of the packed, silly and vibrant dance floor speak for themselves. He allowed us (bride & groom), the bridesmaids, and my Dad to come behind the DJ stand throughout the evening to run point on some of the (easier) mixes aka telling us exactly what to do and when. It was an experience we will never forget. And the photos of us behind the stand are some of our absolute favorites. You can see the pure joy on everyone’s faces and it’s all due to Sawyer’s inviting, exciting and incredibly patient energy. Anytime we’re asked what our favorite part of the entire day was, we both immediately without hesitation say “DJing with DJ Sawyer”. Truly the best of the best! Not only was he the talk of the entire beach party the following day, but we had multiple people ask for his set list. So Sawyer, if you’re reading this, we’d love to relive the evening with your set list for our next party! For anyone still unsure on who to go with, this is your sign. DJ Sawyer is a MUST! Our favorite part of our entire day and that’s a huge feat.

less. His guidance on song selection and reception flow was critical and I am so grateful to have had such an incredible partner every step of the way! Our guests are still complimenting DJ Sawyer, he made our wedding a night to remember.

we were going for and helped create the perfect atmosphere for our big day. The music selection was spot on, and he did an amazing job incorporating all of my song requests while keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long. What stood out most was how attentive and personable he was with our guests. DJ Sawyer made sure everyone felt involved and created such a fun, inclusive vibe. It was clear he genuinely cared about making our celebration unforgettable. Highly recommend DJ Sawyer to anyone looking for a professional, talented, and fun DJ! Thank you so much for making our wedding day so memorable!

d through. We only spoke to DJ Sawyer three times during the planning process, yet it felt like we had known him for years. We gave DJ Sawyer a unique ask to blend the music he played across different decades as we had a variety of age groups in attendance. He made everyone feel super included yet kept the music fun and engaging so our dance floor was filled the entire night. We were worried about keeping everyone on the dance floor, and by the end of the night, everyone was chanting “One more song!”. Thank you, DJ Sawyer Tahoe, for making it a night we will never forget!

a key role in making our event flow seamlessly. As a DJ, Sawyer's expertise in music selection was spot on. He worked with us ahead of time to help curate the perfect playlist, offering thoughtful suggestions and guiding us toward songs that really fit the vibe of our wedding. During the event, he kept the energy up and the dance floor packed! His mix of songs had everyone, from kids to grandparents, dancing and having a blast all night long. What really set Sawyer apart was his role as an MC. He kept the evening moving smoothly, making transitions between events effortless and ensuring everyone knew what was happening next. He struck the perfect balance between being engaging and professional, with just the right amount of fun and personality. We also appreciated how he went above and beyond to take care of us throughout the night — making sure we had wine, water, and everything we needed to enjoy the celebration. His attention to detail and thoughtfulness didn’t go unnoticed! If you’re looking for a DJ who is not only talented but also dedicated to making your event perfect, DJ Sawyer is your guy. He made our wedding day so memorable, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Thank you, DJ Sawyer, for making our celebration a true success!

If a priority at your wedding is a notable dance party then this is your guy. Not only will he create a unique mix based on the vibes he's getting from your guests but he will help your entire event from start to finish go smoothly. ted, and he did his best bouncing back and forth to appease everyone. It was impressive. Everyone complimented the music afterwards. additionally, he just has a great demeanor and is pure fun from start to finish! We really appreciated working with him. Thank you sawyer!

hear. On the day of the wedding, not only was the music great but he was a very key part of making sure our wedding day was organized, on-time and went as smoothly as possible. In regards to music, we requested not-so-traditional music in the EDM/Dubstep genre. Let me tell you, DJ Sawyer crushed it. He not only played the songs we wanted him to play, but also took the time to plan a mix with them. It was exactly what we were looking for and we got so many compliments from our guests. We highly recommend Sawyer and we thank you for making our wedding day that much better!

d up dressed to impress and played a crucial role in ensuring our event ran smoothly and followed our timeline. During the planning, we appreciated Sawyer’s recommendations and guidance. He really served as a trusted advisor and his years of experience were evident. For example, we originally thought we would do our first dance after dinner, but he strongly suggested we went into our first dance immediately after our grand entrance. We took his advice and are so glad we did! It was tips like these that helped our day flow seamlessly. The dance floor deserves its own review — it was our ABSOLUTE favorite part of our wedding night. Sawyer deserves major kudos for keeping the bangers coming and the vibes high!! So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding dance floor they’ve ever been a part of (and one of these compliments came from a couple who has been to over 40 weddings together!). The cherry on top of our night was Sawyer popping into our downtown Truckee after party. He even drove a couple of wedding party friends who missed the shuttle because they hung back to help clean up🥺 If you want your wedding to be the one your friends can’t stop talking about, HIRE SAWYER!! We will never be able to thank him enough for being such an important part of the best day of our lives!

dding. Sawyer is very professional, kind and thoughtful. He has a keen awareness for details and did a great job with putting a fun spin on the vibe and music we wanted to play. He kept us on time and worked with my family and guests when they had questions or needed pre-wedding clarifications. Impeccable and completely worth it. You want Sawyer for your wedding, trust me. - Allie + Marcus xoxo

e personally recorded music for the ceremony and our father-daughter dance, which added such a special touch to the day. His honest opinions and insights were invaluable, and he expertly ran the entire night, keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed. If you’re looking for a DJ who truly cares and knows how to create an unforgettable experience, look no further than DJ Sawyer! Highly recommend!

elief and help to have someone like Sawyer who knows exactly what to do and even helps out with things besides being a DJ. He is highly professional and will make your wedding day better!

s. He went above and beyond from just DJ-ing, but was also a fantastic MC, coordinating to ensuring the timeline of events moved smoothly for our guests. He is extremely genuine and his passion for his work is evident. He then went on to keep the fun vibes going on the dance floor all night. Would highly recommend working with Sawyer!

cused on you, the couple, and what you want your wedding or event to be. We gave him an eclectic mix with everything from Tammy Wynette to Mariah Carey to Sabrina carpenter. He was able to match the crowds energy and find the vibe and NAILED IT. We are still getting compliments today on the music. Highly recommend sawyer for any event. Last point, we also had to move the entire wedding indoors. Sawyer calmly and professionally set everything up again inside and started the party. Professional, on time, killer DJ.

, and fun. Our dance floor was packed and everyone had a blast. I would recommend Sawyer to all my friends and family. We’re so happy we chose him to be a part of our big day!

g and passionate about ensuring that people have a great time and that the music and vibes are impeccable! Our wedding brought together two cultures, and Sawyer was not only able to put together a playlist that included both Latino classics and mainstream pop and dance but he thrived in doing this! My husband and I both had some nerves about bringing our families together and making sure everyone had a great time, but Sawyer was able to do this effortlessly and we never should have had any worries at all! From the moment the music started, our dance floor was completely full and completely on fire! He was so good at reading the room and making sure everyone was having a fantastic night. We couldn’t have had the phenomenal wedding night we had without Sawyer! Thank you so much!!

ion at the Beach Retreat. He did such a wonderful job of reading the vibe and getting our small group of 20 to dance the night away. We enjoyed working with him so much we paid for him to travel down to our hometown 4 hours away to DJ our large 175 guest reception. Again he blew our minds. H let me (probably reluctantly to him) take the mic after a few too many whiskeys and he laughed and had fun with us the whole night. He has great energy and is so much fun. He listens and understand what his clients want. We can't wait to have another reason to work with him or just visit him in Tahoe for some fun!

a true professional and incredibly organized. He exceeded all our expectations and went above and beyond to serve us and make us feel taken care of at our wedding! We are so happy we had Sawyer at our wedding; we had a blast! He brought the party and the amazing energy on the dance floor was something that I kept thinking about afterwards and still makes me smile! Thank you so much Sawyer! We genuinely appreciate you and will be forever grateful to you for helping make our wedding day so special!

s amp for us to plug into our keyboard! We wanted to incorporate a few family-tradition songs and he easily transitioned in and out of them seamlessly. He did a great job during the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception with speeches, and of course the rest of the evening where the dancefloor was constantly packed. We kept getting compliments about how great DJ Sawyer was and would highly recommend! He said from the beginning that he goes in preparing as if this was his sister’s wedding and we absolutely felt the hard work and effort he put in.

anges flowed perfectly and there was a good variety of music to keep everyone going all night. I would highly recommend for any event!

us on a detailed plan of sequence of events and music selections. He went above and beyond making sure that the timeline of events was perfectly followed and at all times fun. He even went as far as helping the resort staff fill champagne glasses for the celebration toast! In one word he was awesome and I truly believe he would be a great choice to DJ any wedding. Thank you so much Sawyer for making Jen and Spencer's wedding so special! Bill and Terri Aicega
