Daniel Fears was our wedding DJ. Not only is he super talented, but he is truly such a joy to work with. We connected with him after our original DJ had equipment issues, which ended up being the best blessing in disguise. Daniel was very attentive and responsive prior to the wedding, helping bring our vision to life. We choose to incorporate a live performance into his DJ set as well, which really helped to create such an intimate and special dance floor. With his help we picked out songs for him to perform that would match the mood we were going for. Daniel's voice is incredible- so beautiful that I'm not sure people even realized he was performing live. Our only regret is that we didn't connect with him sooner. We cannot recommend Daniel enough!!
Daniel was an excellent musician for my wedding! He sang our first dance song. He was communicative and helpful throughout the planning process and worked with our DJ to make sure things went smoothly. Highly recommend!

Daniel Fears was born and raised in Houston, TX. Drawn to Austin after high school, Daniel fell in love with the city and has stayed, performing as a musician in Austin’s top venues. His 10 years of professional experience shine through in his performances, whether for an audience of 20 or 2000.
He's performed in hundreds of weddings over his last 10 years in the band Uptown Drive, and for the last 2 years has worked as wedding DJ and singer.
Originally a conservatory-trained horn player, in recent years Daniel has channeled his love of music into his voice, piano, and music production. Daniel infuses his unique sound into R&B, Soul, and Top 40 Pop of past and present and creates an atmosphere to fit each occasion–be it intimate and moving or energetic and grooving. He recently won a Black Fret Grant which honors Austin’s most promising talent.
