He was so incredibly kind, easy-going, and funny. A week or so leading up to the wedding, I had a Zoom call with Jake to discuss timeline, requests, etc. He was incredibly detail oriented, asking follow up questions and writing down the parts of the night that I called out as the most important to me. My mind felt at peace knowing that such a meticulous person would be behind the camera! We booked Jake for a package that included Rehearsal Dinner speeches - though we opted out of a Rehearsal Dinner, we did have a Welcome Party! I emailed Jake the details and he showed up early and ready to roll. Jake set up his equipment and advised us where to stand. I am so grateful that he was able to capture the general vibe of the party as well as the speeches! I will cherish those memories forever. On the day of the wedding, Jake showed up with his second shooter and got right to work. He worked in tandem with our photographer, quickly and efficiently. I don’t think there was a single moment in which I looked up and Jake wasn’t with us and that truly brings me so much joy and comfort. I know he captured every moment of our special day and will piece it together in a beautiful film. Jake stayed with us until the end of the night to film our exit. He made sure to check in with me before leaving. Since the wedding, Jake has sent me a questionnaire to fill out to provide direction on the cinematic highlight and has posted an Instagram clip. Throughout the entire time working with him he has been supportive, responsive, and kind. I would highly recommend Moonlit for videography to any future couple searching for a cinematographer!! Jake is not only a genuine human, he is also a wonderful artist with an incredible eye. I can’t wait to see our final video!! THANK YOU JAKE!! We love you!!

Throughout the wedding day he blended in seamlessly with guests to capture some fun, special moments, and his presence was comfortable and easygoing throughout a day that otherwise came with many stressors. While no form of media can truly capture the whirlwind of emotions of your wedding day, the beauty of movement and sounds from the day are so special to have on video. e start and that was no different from how he acted day of. After looking back at the wedding videos, I didn't even realize them recording a lot of it - which was great! He had never worked with my photographer, but was extremely collaborative in doing so. They also put together a fantastic 5 minute highlight reel that captured EVERY aspect of the day and I didn't give him a ton of guidance on that. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. Book them now! Last note, we had to include a live stream for our wedding last minute. Jake was so honest and transparent in the fact that he had tested out the network in Dripping Springs in the past and knew he wouldn't have the best connection there - that honestly from a vendor is hard to come by! It's really appreciated and well respected.

Jake, who is not only so cool and professional, was extremely responsive and flexible due to short timeframe. . From the first call I made to Jake, I knew that he was a true professional - and a nice person. On the day of the event, Jake and his assistant arrived at the venue on time and was extremely professional and friendly, putting everyone at ease as we gathered for the procession. He captured some wonderful pre-ceremony footage of the bride and groom with their bridesmaids and groomsmen - really setting the tone for the event. The ceremony footage was professionally done with excellent sound and perfection in terms of viewing angles. Moving to the reception, Jake preserved every special moment - the grand entrance, toasts, special dances, private dance at the end - and everything in between. His editing was so well done that the video includes all key elements of the evening, put together with emotion, beautiful background music and creativity in camera angles, voiceover and special editing techniques. Not only that - Jake is friendly and was a pleasure to work with before, during and after the event. Five stars is not enough!
