This travel agency was recommended to my fiancé and I by a close family friend. I was so excited to plan our honeymoon with them as they specialize on detailed itineraries. However...
, when I initially reached out the company I did not hear back. I reached out again about 3 weeks after my first time. When the agent followed up with me he did not hesitate to tell me he didn't think the company was the right fit for me as it focused on luxury honeymoons. This assumption was made after I shared what I thought was a reasonable starting budget for a honeymoon. He was not open to exploring other destination options. I did not appreciate being turned away by an agency because of what assumed were my needs. Would not recommend this travel agency to any couple.
We had such a great experience using MoonRings to book our honeymoon. We worked directly with Kevin Doheny, and he was fantastic and so patient with our busy schedules. We live in ...
DC, but someone recommended MoonRings to us, and they can help you plan your trip regardless of where you live. We paid a $500 fee to schedule a two week honeymoon (planning fee is based on length of trip), and it couldn't have been more worth it. We talked to Kevin extensively about our interests and levels of activity, and he took that information and proposed some itineraries with different options and lodgings that we could pick and choose from. Kevin really listened to us, and it felt like the trip was completely unique and personal - and tailored to our wants and needs. It was incredibly easy, and we had such an amazing honeymoon. I can't tell you the relief I felt not having to worry about plans the few weeks before the wedding. I just printed our final itinerary and headed to the airport!
During the honeymoon, everything was seamless. Everyone was where they said they would be to meet us, all our rides were secured, and every tour or activity had us on the list.
One note is that this is definitely a service for a more luxury trip, so while we were able to establish a budget with Kevin beforehand, it's definitely not a service to use if you're trying to do a trip on the cheap!
