Moonstone Manor

nd to us and our guests. Any questions we had, they were quick to respond. They kept the grounds immaculate and accommodated our needs. It ended up raining at night during our reception and they even brought in a bunch of umbrellas for our guests to use in the case they needed to go out of the tent to get to their car or the bathroom. Our guests raved about the venue all night long! It's a dream!

erfect harmony of masculine strength and feminine grace. The venue caters to diverse tastes, offering a regal atmosphere for a more masculine vibe and delicate details for the feminine touch. The outdoor areas, bathed in natural and fairy lights, add a touch of magic. In essence, it's a masterpiece where beauty, elegance, and the balance of masculine and feminine elements create a symphony of love—a dream venue for couples seeking a timeless and enchanting celebration. Thank so for sharing such an amazing venue with us for our wedding celebration!

ely breathtaking. The staff are so kind and answered any question we had within 24 hours. We were able to tour multiple times to get an idea of how we wanted to decorate and see the ceremony site. I can't imagine having gotten married anywhere else. We booked the manor for our out of town guests and us - it was affordable, comfortable, and the breakfast was great. All of our guests raved about the beauty of Moonstone Manor.

picking this venue. Everywhere you turn is picturesque, everything is so stunning. The mansion is beautiful, the rose arches are gorgeous and the reception tent so beautiful. This wedding venue is a literally fairytale.

dy to help with a back up plan if the rain did not stop that day. I am so glad I chose this gorgeous venue to marry my best friend. The pictures turned out beautifully and it will be a day that I never forget!

g your day down to the details. We were looking for elegance that still had a back yard, intimate feel. Moonstone gave us exactly that. It’s enchanting both inside and out. Just gorgeous.

for our wedding day and they remained involved even past the day of. The time and effort they put toward our event is unmatched and if we were to do it all over again we wouldn't hesitate choosing Moonstone manor once again. The grounds of the Manor are kept in pristine condition. The inhouse catering by Food For Thought Catering received rave reviews from all of our guest and as the bride and groom we were beyond satisfied with the quality of the food, everything was delicious and the staff managed to take care of even the finest of details. I urge anyone seeking a venue for any special event; look no further, Moonstone Manor is the place you have been looking for.

ould have imagined, highly highly recommend!!

unds with the stream running through the property. My wife really wanted an outside wedding, so she was very pleased this venue offers a covered open-air option in the event of rain. Thankfully we did not need to take advantage of this option. We really enjoyed having most of our extended family stay all under the same roof for two nights as well. Moonstone Manor fit all of our needs. The staff were excellent as well. I can’t say enough good things about them and their venue. It was everything we hoped it would be.

ting, and made sure our night was perfect. On our wedding day, it rained nearly the entire day, and it was still beautiful with plenty of great photo opportunities and places to hide from the rain! We are so incredibly pleased with our venue and the staff and would highly recommend them.

amount of flexibility and customization for your wedding. Gina and Mary were a pleasure to work with and are so invested in their clients. I'm so happy that the manor house is now a B&B so we could stay there and soak up that beautiful feeling I get whenever I step foot on the grounds.

ve been any more accommodating!! All of our guests were literally ‘over the moon’ at how beautiful and nice everything was. We had constant compliments the entire day! Gina and Mary were incredible throughout our entire planning process! They were quick to answer questions, welcomed visits, and offered lots of sound advice on many occasions!! We can not say enough wonderful things about them and their staff! Needless to say, we were thrilled with our entire experience!

just so beautiful.

sion to the Woodland Pavillion and the creek running behind the property, everything was perfect for our dream wedding. The Moonstone Manor Team was extremely helpful from our first tour to the end of our wedding day. They walked with us every step of the way. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness, knowledge and patience with our hundreds of questions about everything. Our wedding day was perfect and we received a multitude of compliments from guests on what a wonderful venue we chose, and I can’t help but agree 100%! I highly recommend Moonstone Manor as your wedding or event venue!

edding as the best day of my life, and they really played a huge part in that.

or the day. My husband and I highly recommend this venue and believe it should be awarded the highest honors and awards!! Ruthie and Greg M.

ich helped us enjoy our day knowing everything was taken care of. Multiple guests told us it was the best and most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. Highly recommend!!

rty to have your ceremony and the reception area is just breath-taking. You will have beautiful photos of your day, as the mansion and grounds are gorgeous. You really can tell the staff loves and takes pride in what they do. Everyone is so pleasant and we were treated like royalty. Thank you to everyone at Moonstone Manor!

I will try and keep it relatively short, lol! My husband and I probably visited 12 or 13 venues when we were trying to pick a spot to have our wedding and I can say without pause that Moonstone Manor was the ONLY venue that I cried at (happy tears of course!) The charm of Moonstone Manor is magnetic and it truly manifested itself into our hearts within the first few minutes of visiting. The manor itself is enchanting in every sense of the word but the property surrounding the manor is magical in its own right - it's like fairytale inception!!! I need to start finding synonyms for the word magical but it's the best word to describe this venue. The groomsman's quarters are so rugged and full of just the right amount of masculine energy that any guy would want to feel on his big day. Likewise, ANY room inside the manor could give the bride and her bridesmaids a feeling of being a fairy in their own storybook. The art, the natural light, and the flow of the property was enough to keep us coming back (we already booked ourselves a night at the Manor for over the holidays!) Two things (among many others that I will mention) that made this choice of venue a no-brainer, were the tent and the rain plan. The tent is beautifully set looking over the stream and the floor of the tent is a gorgeous granite-like stone that lifts the formality of the party to a new level while keeping it natural and close to nature. The rain plan is a lovely little church-like pavilion with pews and, once again, a lovely view of the property. The best part of the rain plan is that it's STILL OUTSIDE! I loved that no matter the weather, my yearn to be in nature wouldn't be quelled. So yes, the property is amazing but the most important part of this venue are the two women who run it - Gina and Mary. The love they have for their couples is PALPABLE - it was like talking to my mother every time I got to discuss something with them either over the phone, in person, or via email. They are maternal and sweet and will bend over backwards to make sure everything goes according to plan. Even during the pandemic, their positivity and optimism provided such comfort. Not once in any of the decisions we had to make (changing our date to the following year) did Gina or Mary make us feel guilty or unworthy of our big day. They were encouraging, sweet, and so mindful of the gravity of this day and what it meant to us. I find myself tearing up every time I write about Moonstone or think about our day there. It was an experience I wish I could relive over and over again. The last thing I'll say is that if you're looking for a caterer, CHOOSE FOOD FOR THOUGHT!!!! Gina absolutely CRUSHES it in the kitchen. Her food is fresh, seasonal, and appealing to the eyes AND belly. Highly recommend this venue for all sorts of reasons but above all, we recommend it if you want to feel like you're at home, surrounded by loved ones (new and old) on the best day of your life. The inn-keepers, Faith and Keegan, were like gentle reminders throughout the weekend that guests are family at Moonstone Manor. We felt so cared for and elated the entire time we spent at Moonstone. We plan to return as often as we can to relive the magic and soak up the love shared here! All our love, to the moon and back, Kristi, MJ and Kula

ry literally made all of our wedding dreams come true. The two words that have been stuck in my head and that I’ve heard from guests are MAGICAL and DREAMY! We had the most magical night, and truly cannot stop thinking about how perfect everything was! From the first day we stepped foot onto beautiful property, we knew it was meant to be. We felt an instant connection with Gina and Mary and from day one they treated us like family. They went above and beyond to make this the perfect wedding for US and customized and executed every aspect of the day. They quite literally made our dream a reality. It was so dreamy it’s hard to believe it was real. The attention to detail from start to finish was everything. Everyone had the best time, and it was truly a wedding for the record books…absolutely epic. Every time we planned to come for a meeting, we were excited for days beforehand. Not only to see Moonstone and bask in all its beauty, but also to see Gina & Mary! We will miss our meetings with them dearly and plan to book an anniversary stay each year! Our guests are still raving about the ambiance, service and most importantly the FOOD! Food for thought is Gina’s catering company and they knocked it out of the park! It was a perfect day at the perfect venue with the perfect staff! We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Book Moonstone and Food for Thought Catering, I promise you will not be disappointed!

. We had been looking at venues in the Poconos, but saw Moonstone Manor on The Knot and found it too beautiful not to check out. The beauty of the property and the mansion beat out the Poconos venues and, conveniently, it was only 30 minutes from our house, so we promptly booked. From there, Mary and Gina worked with us and allowed us to have the flexibility of reserving for a minimony with immediate family, but having the option to hold a larger wedding with enough notice if we wanted to increase. We decided to stick with the minimony for ease and safety and again, the Moonstone and Food For Thought staff came through making the entire event run seamlessly. Given the small wedding size, I didn’t have bridesmaids to help and I hadn’t hired a wedding planner, but the Moonstone staff helped to make sure everything got to the right place at the right time. The property is absolutely beautiful and they helped me select the perfect spot with greenery and the creek as a backdrop. Gina, who owns the mansion and runs Food For Thought catering is also a dog lover, so our beloved Fuller was able to partake in the day as our ring bearer. And finally, the food was incredible - we were talking about it for days to come. Thank you, Gina and Mary, for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!

spaces covered. There are SO many beautiful photo locations on the property. The ladies were very helpful and we really enjoyed working with them! We got so many compliments on the venue and how smoothly everything ran.

ble for us to have our dream ceremony, at our dream venue, with lots of flexibility needed to accommodate the safety of our guests. Even with a smaller gathering than we initially planned, we experienced all of the magic of Moonstone -- from the historic manor, to the Conewago Creek, to the incredible grounds to walk and soak in the beauty of the day. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the Moonstone team and give the highest possible recommendation for those considering getting married at this incredible place!

rfect. We also had our rehearsal dinner at the venue and used Food for Thought Catering. The food was absolutely delicious and all of our guests gave so many compliments! We were able to stay over the night before the wedding which made getting ready the morning of super easy! I can’t say enough good things about Gina and Moonstone Manor. Everyone was so easy to work with and the grounds were absolutely beautiful! I wish we could do it all over again!

needed to pull of a dream wedding or any event. We used Food for Thought for the catering and they were also awesome to work w/. Everyone is very helpful, professional and they truly care about You. We started there Thursday evening for the Rehearsal dinner, stayed over night. Had our daughter’s wedding there Friday and stayed again over night after the wedding. It was so nice to check in and have extended days to relax and fully enjoy the venue w/out feeling rushed through our special day. You spend a year or more planning for your special day why not let it last for at least a couple of days. Thank you Moonstone for creating a picture perfect weekend;)

r. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and they feel like they are yours for the time being. The staff is so accommodating. We loved our experience here at Moonstone. Being able to rent either a few of the rooms, or the whole mansion allowed us to relax and not feel rushed the day of the wedding. The staff provided warm smiles and coffee, along with many other breakfast goodies from Food for Thought. We had a different vision on how to serve our food to our guests, and Food for Thought made it happen. They never questioned, they only guided, and helped make our vision come true! I cannot recommend this venue, and caterer enough. You will not be disappointed. My now husband and I have already talked about staying over in the mansion on anniversaries, to relive our magical day. Thank you for going above and beyond Gina, Mary and Moonstone staff!

was included in the price and a chapel ceremony site that we would use if it rained. Our day was perfect and sunny in early October, so we were able to be by our favorite feature: the creek! Mary and Gina were helpful and there whenever I had a question. During the pandemic, I was nervous they were going to close, but they were very adamant about making as many accommodations for their couples as they could. We felt so lucky having Moonstone as our venue. We stayed overnight in the Nightingale Suite inside the manor house, and their housekeeper Faith was AMAZING. Their groomsmen room is awesome, and the three bridal party rooms were lovely to get ready in.

him "this is the one". We toured the place with Mary and we both fell in love. Our guests are still raving to us about how beautiful and unique the venue was! We have nothing but good things to say. Gina, Mary, and the team are truly incredible. They treat everyone with such respect and were there to answer all of my emails (even to calm me down when things got crazy). They were so accommodating and sweet through postponing the wedding due to covid. On the day of, Gina and Mary were both hands on with a smile on their faces. You can really tell they love what they do. I could not have asked for more from a venue. We love Moonstone Manor.

!! Our daughter's wedding was an important life event for us and I can't even imagine that we would have done it anywhere other than Moonstone Manor. Thank you Gina and staff. You along with the manor are truly a winning combination!! We can't say enough about our overall experience and 100% recommend them.

u feel so at home and are incredibly flexible to any changes you need to make throughout the planning process. We had to reschedule our date due to COVID, and the Moonstone team worked with us every step of the way to make sure our day was everything we wanted! The grounds are beautiful, the food is delicious, and you really can't get this experience elsewhere. We heard from guests that it was the most beautiful wedding they'd ever been to! I cannot recommend this venue and staff enough!!

ll the way through the end of our evening. No wedding planner needed when you have these three on your side, even when your plans change multiple times due to a pandemic. They always had the answers/solutions to keep the planning moving forward. Now the grounds!! We visited in December for a May wedding that actually happened in September. The grounds became more beautiful with each passing timeframe. There was a team present that morning to make sure everything was clean and picture perfect. We ended up using about half of the facilities which made for a very relaxing day for the wedding party and our 140 guests. Thanks again to these amazing ladies and the beautiful grounds, not even the rain leading up to the ceremony time could spoil the day. Having the entire grounds to ourselves throughout the day made it the perfect home for my daughter’s day!

nues, but as soon as we stepped foot on this one, we immediately knew it was perfect. And Amy, Mary, and Gina are fantastic! They were always very responsive whenever I had a question or needed something, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding date due to the pandemic - they didn’t even charge us or anything, we just simply moved the date. They also came up with a very reasonable set of guidelines so our guests and staff were kept safe while allowing everything to feel as close to normal as possible. The inside of the mansion is also as lovely as the outside. There is more than enough space for getting ready and relaxing, and there are so many perfect places to take photos, especially if you want that vintage feel. I can’t say enough positive things about this place. They deserve more than 5 stars.

to help with our questions. The moment we stepped foot on the grounds for our initial tour we knew it was our venue. Everything about it was magical, and the entire staff onsite the day of our wedding was so friendly and willing to help in anyway they could. We didn’t feel like we were being rushed at the end of the evening and everything was so smooth. Thank you to everyone at Moonstone that made our day perfect!

dly and willing to help with anything on our wedding day! I only wish we had more time to keep the night going on longer! You won’t regret having an event at Moonstone Manor.

ndeur to the setting. The grounds are so extensive that you will not be short on options for photo shoots and ceremony sites. There is a beautiful stream and so much foliage that makes an outdoor wedding perfect here. Also, there are ruins down by the stream that gives an unique backdrop for small weddings or photo shoots. On the day of the wedding, the staff was very helpful and would make sure to check in to make sure we were doing okay or ask if we needed help. Gina and her staff were wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend having your special day at Moonstone Manor.

as perfect. Gina and Mary's experience, creativity and patience were invaluable in planning our special day. The tastings were quite helpful, and it was a really fun evening! The frequent emails kept us on tract and helped us stay organized. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. We didn't have to worry about a thing! All of our guests raved about the food, especially the appetizers! The tent and grounds were fabulous and our pictures turned out great!! We absolutely recommend Moonstone Manor for any event!

end them as a venue!

staff were extremely nice and friendly!

to the grounds and met Gina, Mary and staff. They are attentive, fun, organized and just all around great people. They make you their priority. All your ideas, questions, concerns or whatever it may be will be acknowledged and answered. My day was so perfect, and so beautiful that I keep saying I want to do it again! I cannot thank the staff here enough for everything.

our wedding day at the venue and that we got to hire all of our own wedding vendors. So easy to work with and was inexpensive for the day before labor day! Also, if you want an outdoor wedding, but worried about rain, they have a cute pavilion as a backup plan! The only thing that we did not like was that the groom's room was very small compared to what the bridal party got.

, but Mary treated us with nothing but kindness and honesty. Gina, Mary and the whole staff are fantastic. We ended up using another catering company, but I would still highly recommend theirs based off service and attention to detail. Mary emailed us every couple months to help keep us on track, and was always there to help us plan and answer any questions. The day of she checked on us regularly to make sure everything was perfect. This venue is so beautiful and I can not wait for our pictures. Our guests have said it’s the best wedding they have attended and I have Moonstone to thank for making our day truly a fairytale.

on tables, chairs, linens - following their advice these turned our beautiful! We were unsure about having our dinner in an outside tent, but theirs is spacious and makes you really feel almost like you are outside! The Mansion and grounds are amazing and offer lots of space for a nice reception and a beautiful background for your pictures!

o because the staff immediately made us feel welcome and at ease. Gina and Mary show extreme professionalism . It is clear from their results that they are perfectionists in all that they do, but more importantly, they "get it" regarding the bigger picture of wedding planning - that it's about people and bringing loved ones together to celebrate a once in a lifetime occasion - and they clearly prioritize people and relationships above all. Throughout our planning process the Moonstone staff made us feel like we were the most important people in the world to them, always quick to answer our questions and provide their suggestions when we asked. They let us visit the venue a number of times before the big day, and were extremely flexible regarding our use of the grounds on the wedding day and even the days leading up to it. No other venue we looked at was nearly as accommodating. Our wedding day ended up being even better than we could have imagined. Every detail was absolutely perfect, and as the bride, being able to trust that the Moonstone staff would carry out the evening exactly as we had planned allowed me to relax and fully take in every moment. In the weeks following, our guests keep telling us it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and while we’d like to think our planning played some part in that, we know that it was primarily the beauty of Moonstone Manor, the amazing food, and the overall enchanting atmosphere that the Moonstone team set for the day. I would recommend this venue in a heartbeat to anyone.

extra special! Moonstone Manor is a gorgeous venue that is absolutely stunning!! We could not have been happier! If your looking for the best, look no further!!

compliments during the reception about how nice the venue and staff were. We were so happy with how everything turned out and cannot recommend them enough!
