I can't imagine having gotten married anywhere else. We booked the manor for our out of town guests and us - it was affordable, comfortable, and the breakfast was great. All of our guests raved about the beauty of Moonstone Manor.

I will try and keep it relatively short, lol! My husband and I probably visited 12 or 13 venues when we were trying to pick a spot to have our wedding and I can say without pause that Moonstone Manor was the ONLY venue that I cried at (happy tears of course!) The charm of Moonstone Manor is magnetic and it truly manifested itself into our hearts within the first few minutes of visiting. The manor itself is enchanting in every sense of the word but the property surrounding the manor is magical in its own right - it's like fairytale inception!!! I need to start finding synonyms for the word magical but it's the best word to describe this venue. The groomsman's quarters are so rugged and full of just the right amount of masculine energy that any guy would want to feel on his big day. Likewise, ANY room inside the manor could give the bride and her bridesmaids a feeling of being a fairy in their own storybook. The art, the natural light, and the flow of the property was enough to keep us coming back (we already booked ourselves a night at the Manor for over the holidays!) Two things (among many others that I will mention) that made this choice of venue a no-brainer, were the tent and the rain plan. The tent is beautifully set looking over the stream and the floor of the tent is a gorgeous granite-like stone that lifts the formality of the party to a new level while keeping it natural and close to nature. The rain plan is a lovely little church-like pavilion with pews and, once again, a lovely view of the property. The best part of the rain plan is that it's STILL OUTSIDE! I loved that no matter the weather, my yearn to be in nature wouldn't be quelled. So yes, the property is amazing but the most important part of this venue are the two women who run it - Gina and Mary. The love they have for their couples is PALPABLE - it was like talking to my mother every time I got to discuss something with them either over the phone, in person, or via email. They are maternal and sweet and will bend over backwards to make sure everything goes according to plan. Even during the pandemic, their positivity and optimism provided such comfort. Not once in any of the decisions we had to make (changing our date to the following year) did Gina or Mary make us feel guilty or unworthy of our big day. They were encouraging, sweet, and so mindful of the gravity of this day and what it meant to us. I find myself tearing up every time I write about Moonstone or think about our day there. It was an experience I wish I could relive over and over again. The last thing I'll say is that if you're looking for a caterer, CHOOSE FOOD FOR THOUGHT!!!! Gina absolutely CRUSHES it in the kitchen. Her food is fresh, seasonal, and appealing to the eyes AND belly. Highly recommend this venue for all sorts of reasons but above all, we recommend it if you want to feel like you're at home, surrounded by loved ones (new and old) on the best day of your life. The inn-keepers, Faith and Keegan, were like gentle reminders throughout the weekend that guests are family at Moonstone Manor. We felt so cared for and elated the entire time we spent at Moonstone. ry literally made all of our wedding dreams come true. The two words that have been stuck in my head and that I’ve heard from guests are MAGICAL and DREAMY! We had the most magical night, and truly cannot stop thinking about how perfect everything was! From the first day we stepped foot onto beautiful property, we knew it was meant to be. We felt an instant connection with Gina and Mary and from day one they treated us like family. They went above and beyond to make this the perfect wedding for US and customized and executed every aspect of the day. They quite literally made our dream a reality. It was so dreamy it’s hard to believe it was real. The attention to detail from start to finish was everything. Everyone had the best time, and it was truly a wedding for the record books…absolutely epic. Every time we planned to come for a meeting, we were excited for days beforehand. Not only to see Moonstone and bask in all its beauty, but also to see Gina & Mary! We will miss our meetings with them dearly and plan to book an anniversary stay each year! Our guests are still raving about the ambiance, service and most importantly the FOOD! Food for thought is Gina’s catering company and they knocked it out of the park! It was a perfect day at the perfect venue with the perfect staff! We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Book Moonstone and Food for Thought Catering, I promise you will not be disappointed!

. We had been looking at venues in the Poconos, but saw Moonstone Manor on The Knot and found it too beautiful not to check out. The beauty of the property and the mansion beat out the Poconos venues and, conveniently, it was only 30 minutes from our house, so we promptly booked. From there, Mary and Gina worked with us and allowed us to have the flexibility of reserving for a minimony with immediate family, but having the option to hold a larger wedding with enough notice if we wanted to increase. We decided to stick with the minimony for ease and safety and again, the Moonstone and Food For Thought staff came through making the entire event run seamlessly. Given the small wedding size, I didn’t have bridesmaids to help and I hadn’t hired a wedding planner, but the Moonstone staff helped to make sure everything got to the right place at the right time. The property is absolutely beautiful and they helped me select the perfect spot with greenery and the creek as a backdrop. Gina, who owns the mansion and runs Food For Thought catering is also a dog lover, so our beloved Fuller was able to partake in the day as our ring bearer. And finally, the food was incredible - we were talking about it for days to come. Thank you, Gina and Mary, for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!

We started there Thursday evening for the Rehearsal dinner, stayed over night. Had our daughter’s wedding there Friday and stayed again over night after the wedding. It was so nice to check in and have extended days to relax and fully enjoy the venue w/out feeling rushed through our special day. You spend a year or more planning for your special day why not let it last for at least a couple of days. Thank you Moonstone for creating a picture perfect weekend;)

r. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and they feel like they are yours for the time being. The staff is so accommodating. We loved our experience here at Moonstone. Being able to rent either a few of the rooms, or the whole mansion allowed us to relax and not feel rushed the day of the wedding. The staff provided warm smiles and coffee, along with many other breakfast goodies from Food for Thought. We had a different vision on how to serve our food to our guests, and Food for Thought made it happen. They never questioned, they only guided, and helped make our vision come true! I cannot recommend this venue, and caterer enough. You will not be disappointed. My now husband and I have already talked about staying over in the mansion on anniversaries, to relive our magical day. Thank you for going above and beyond Gina, Mary and Moonstone staff!

was included in the price and a chapel ceremony site that we would use if it rained. Our day was perfect and sunny in early October, so we were able to be by our favorite feature: the creek! Mary and Gina were helpful and there whenever I had a question. During the pandemic, I was nervous they were going to close, but they were very adamant about making as many accommodations for their couples as they could. We felt so lucky having Moonstone as our venue. We stayed overnight in the Nightingale Suite inside the manor house, and their housekeeper Faith was AMAZING. Their groomsmen room is awesome, and the three bridal party rooms were lovely to get ready in.

They always had the answers/solutions to keep the planning moving forward. Now the grounds!! We visited in December for a May wedding that actually happened in September. The grounds became more beautiful with each passing timeframe. There was a team present that morning to make sure everything was clean and picture perfect. We ended up using about half of the facilities which made for a very relaxing day for the wedding party and our 140 guests. Thanks again to these amazing ladies and the beautiful grounds, not even the rain leading up to the ceremony time could spoil the day. Having the entire grounds to ourselves throughout the day made it the perfect home for my daughter’s day!

They were always very responsive whenever I had a question or needed something, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding date due to the pandemic - they didn’t even charge us or anything, we just simply moved the date. They also came up with a very reasonable set of guidelines so our guests and staff were kept safe while allowing everything to feel as close to normal as possible. The inside of the mansion is also as lovely as the outside. There is more than enough space for getting ready and relaxing, and there are so many perfect places to take photos, especially if you want that vintage feel. I can’t say enough positive things about this place. They deserve more than 5 stars.

There is a beautiful stream and so much foliage that makes an outdoor wedding perfect here. Also, there are ruins down by the stream that gives an unique backdrop for small weddings or photo shoots. On the day of the wedding, the staff was very helpful and would make sure to check in to make sure we were doing okay or ask if we needed help. Gina and her staff were wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend having your special day at Moonstone Manor.

Also, if you want an outdoor wedding, but worried about rain, they have a cute pavilion as a backup plan! Our guests have said it’s the best wedding they have attended and I have Moonstone to thank for making our day truly a fairytale.

We were unsure about having our dinner in an outside tent, but theirs is spacious and makes you really feel almost like you are outside! The Mansion and grounds are amazing and offer lots of space for a nice reception and a beautiful background for your pictures!

Throughout our planning process the Moonstone staff made us feel like we were the most important people in the world to them, always quick to answer our questions and provide their suggestions when we asked. They let us visit the venue a number of times before the big day, and were extremely flexible regarding our use of the grounds on the wedding day and even the days leading up to it. No other venue we looked at was nearly as accommodating. Our wedding day ended up being even better than we could have imagined. Every detail was absolutely perfect, and as the bride, being able to trust that the Moonstone staff would carry out the evening exactly as we had planned allowed me to relax and fully take in every moment. In the weeks following, our guests keep telling us it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and while we’d like to think our planning played some part in that, we know that it was primarily the beauty of Moonstone Manor, the amazing food, and the overall enchanting atmosphere that the Moonstone team set for the day.
