All of our guests were shocked that a place like Morais existed in the middle of Virginia, and kept complimenting how beautiful everything was!! Their venue coordinator team is also super helpful, friendly, and quick to respond to any questions we had throughout the process. We could not have imagined a better venue for our day!!

Everything was absolutely perfect and gorgeous here, and to top it all off, the price for the quality of everything you get is insanely reasonable. My friends thought I had paid double what I actually paid, which is a huge compliment!

). There are a ton of locations on site to take pictures (there's a cute little chapel, a greenhouse, the courtyard, and a barrel room/wine cellar). We didn't get to take pics in the barrel room (bummer) due to all the festivities but are considering going back to take our 1 year wedding anniversary pics there.. that's how much we loved the venue! The staff is exceptional. They answered all of our questions, were extremely responsive and proactive throughout the whole process. We really couldn't have asked for a better team.

he best decisions I made! All of my guests have been reaching out to tell me how beautiful the venue was, and how it made them feel like they were in a different country. The wine is also fantastic, so having their wine at our wedding was super easy. They do require you to have a coordinator, but honestly with such a large venue and guests roaming around everywhere, it was so nice having someone to keep everyone on schedule and in the right location. We worked with Suzy from the start and she was extremely helpful, patient, and excited for me throughout the entire planning process. She reminded us of when payments were due and kept checking in on us as the time drew nearer. Thank you Suzy!!! Also, the bridal suite building is new and it is EXTREMELY beautiful! I had so much fun getting ready with all my bridesmaids! We had our own little garden which was perfect for mimosas and pictures beforehand, and each one of my five bridesmaids had her own station for hair and makeup. The bridal suite is so beautiful that our photographer actually took many pre-pictures there -it is the perfect backdrop for detail pictures! We had about 200 guests at our wedding and Morais made it easy for our guests to space out and explore however they liked. Some of our guests liked to hang in the large ballroom, while others roamed through the courtyard and ballroom. Our guests who arrived early just went to the tasting room and hung out and tried all the wines which was super convenient! Lastly, there are some outdoor balconies that make great escapes when you need some air or a quiet place to catch up with a guest, and the balcony in the ballroom was perfect for the bouquet toss! Definitely something our guests won't forget! If you’re looking for an amazing venue, look no further!

wedding perfect. Due to weather we had our ceremony inside and it was perfect, intimate, and romantic due to Morais' beautiful architecture. I honestly couldn't recommend this place more, it was perfect and made our wedding day exactly what we envisioned.

was so peaceful and serene and lovely. Our reception was inside the ballroom and that room is insanely beautiful. With the Chivari chairs and chandeliers - it's so pretty. One complaint - we hosted our cocktail hour in the bar area to the left of the ballroom. Unfortunately, the air conditioner didn't work so everyone had to go outside. And it was over 90 degrees. By the time people got to the reception, they were already sweating like crazy. The venue told us about the air that day, that they could not fix it because it was a Sunday, but for the price we paid - you'd think they would've tried a little harder. Plus emergency air conditioning repairs are a thing. I feel like it really made the rest of the ballroom/building hot because the air conditioner that was working had to work extra hard to compensate. The whole room was a little too warm to be comfortable. It was so warm my mother fainted! I have to blame that on other factors but the heat didn't help. I was sweating bullets in an already hot dress. It was over 90 degrees so no excuse to have an a/c not working. My coordinator, Suzy, was very nice and I enjoyed her throughout the process. She was patient with my questions and requests, and always prompt to respond. She was well organized and really helped steer our day to a successful day. Despite the a/c issue, I'd return here in a heartbeat. I loved this venue! If it had been working - I would've given them a 5. I'm sure this is an isolated event.

We were planning on having the ceremony outside, however the day of the wedding we had a huge thunderstorm roll in and changed our plans...LAST MINUTE....which was not terrible since the venue itself is SO BEAUTIFUL. Suzy and the staff were quick to make sure the reception space was ready to go for us to move the wedding inside...it all went smoothly! I would highly recommend this venue! It is just so beautiful and their wine is delicious! I cannot begin to tell you how many people came up to us after the wedding and say how amazing the wine was! So look no further if you are in search of a venue for your special day :)

In an instant, entering through the gates we knew we had found our venue. Words can't describe the beauty of Morais Vineyards and Winery. It's an incredible venue! It's not just a great location to host your wedding, but the staff is just as award winning. During our final months of planning our wedding we worked with Rachel. She is just beyond amazing and does everything she can to make sure that you are all set for your wedding. The venue is a perfect choice as it allows you to host your ceremony outdoors, and then your reception indoors OR both indoors if you prefer. Your guest will leave with their jaws dropped because they will have never seen anything like it, at least around the DMV area.

r’s wedding held at Morais on April 25th, 2014. She is a great asset to your venue. Customer Service is so important to every business and you have a jewel in Nicole. She always answered my phone calls and emails promptly and was always so pleasant to deal with. She has the perfect personality for this job which can be very stressful. For example, our caterer had trouble getting the oven turned on but Nicole quickly made a phone call to get instructions on what needed to be done. This could have been a big problem but it was quickly resolved. She was always on top of everything and not just that, but she was always so accommodating. I also wanted to thank you for allowing us to have our small wedding at your beautiful venue. We had the ceremony in your lovely chapel. My daughter Michele waited a long time to find her prince and so we just wanted this day to be perfect and it was. Our photographs clearly show how beautiful a wedding held at Morais can be. outside of the venue, my heart was broken. I decided to look at vineyards closer to our home but, in the back of my mind I still dreamed of a wedding at Morais Vineyards. I was very close to settling with a nearby vineyard until I decided that I would not let the distance be a factor on having our dream venue. I planned a trip to meet with Nicole. Let me tell you, I am SO glad I did. Not only was Morais Vineyards flawless in person, BUT Nicole was truly amazing!! She won us over, seriously! I can not say enough about how wonderful she is. y we decided to give Morais a shot. Nicole, one of the venue coordinators, was very helpful and was able to schedule a showing the day of my first email! When we arrived I fell in love immediately. The pictures do not do it justice, the setting is incredible and was the perfect combination of outdoor venue and inside reception. Also, it's "back up plan" in case of rain was better than most places first options. It turned out to be our absolute dream venue and we are so thankful we gave it a chance!

e vineyard is that of a Mediterranean Villa (Owners are Portuguese, hence the influence), which will start setting up your guests nicely. Next is the back of the vineyard, where we had the wedding ceremony, a picturesque view with a beautiful pond with a fountain, straddled by barn animals on the right (a Norman Rockwell site), hugged on the left by trees and the vineyard, with the wedding hall in the back; we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting. The reception hall is perfectly sized and can be expanded to accommodate 300 guests. Stacy & Nicole (Morais' coordinators) are a delight to work with. Case in point: our wedding vows ceremony was 45 minutes late in starting because of a problem with our DJ. Stacy was perfect in keeping everyone calm, especially my wife, while she and the coordinator attended to the issue. My groomsmen and I were treated as kings while we waited for the problem to resolve itself (specifically, we were well hydrated with fine, Morais wine). Leading up to our wedding, My wife and l were made to feel very welcome, like we had joined a new "family," often being invited to tastings (and gifts). I know my wife felt very comfortable throughout the process, even taking her bridesmaids for a girls-only wine tasting. Just bring your best photographers to this venue. Your wedding will look like it came out of a magazine! One caution, though: Bealeton is a small town, thus the hotels are, at best, 2 star quality and they book quickly. From our experience we suggest to include hotel names within 30 miles from the venue, some of which are comfortable 4 star hotels that some of your guests will want to stay at. Our wedding party was large, so both my wife and I rented two very large homes nearby that accommodated every one; the guys in their own home, the ladies in theirs'. It really added to the "texture and feel" of our wedding. Our guests came back feeling like we took them on a getaway. We are already getting petitions from our friends to create an occasion to return to Morais!

I immediately fell in love and I was also crossing my fingers that the price and location were within my preference. After scheduling a visit to the Morais I was literally counting down the days when we would be able to visit this magical place that I fell in love with online. Fast forward to the day of my visit when my hubby and family final got to the venue we all had a serious moment of silence. Everyone that came along was in complete awe at how beautiful and perfect the venue was it was then that we all knew that this was the perfect venue for us. Fast forward to our wedding 08/10/13, the best day of our lives! Everything was beautiful from the Cinderella horse and carriage to the wonderful ceremony, jazz cocktail hour and reception. mily in Spain, so that became our inspiration to find a vineyard. Somewhere picturesque, with delicious wine, and relaxed a atmosphere. I was actually told by few other vineyards, in the area, not even go by Morais. I am so glad I did not listen. The wine was hands down the best out of 10 other vineyards/wineries we tried in the Warrenton area. In comparison Morais offered more time and supplies for about the same amount. Nicole Warner is the best in the business. She is incredible and goes far above her job description making sure everything is calm and perfect. She communicated with my vendors and guided me through the planning process/decision making without me even asking. She made me relax and enjoy my wedding! The staff was impeccable every time we visited. I truly fell in love with this vineyard and its story. I have recommend this location to everyone for any occasion. If you are looking for a gorgeous escape, with amazing wine look no further. Make sure to ask to see the wine cellar to fully transport you! We are planning on coming back for our first anniversary and many more to come!

s. Morais was the perfect fit, so close to the adorable town of Warrenton, VA where we had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and where our guests stayed. The ballroom also sets Morais apart from other winery venues. It was the perfect space to eat, drink, dance and have a perfect night. We are so glad we found Morais and would definitely recommend it!

one. We went on a dreary, drizzly day and the place still looked amazing. We could only imagine what it would be like beautiful and sunny which it was on our wedding day. We worked with the venue coordinator, Nicole Warner, who was very helpful along the whole way from start to finish. We also met the owner who was humble as could be when we were in the tasting room. The whole place is beautiful with so many places to take pictures, especially the wine cellar. Also, the fact that we had 300 guests and Morais was able to accommodate was a big plus. The wine selection is great and I would highly recommend this place over and over again. Wish I could say more, but I must not go spend more time with my wife. :)

way we fell in love with it. The entire property is gorgeous (and we saw it for the first time in the middle of winter when there wasn't even any green on the vines). The wines really helped lock in our decision to have our wedding here too ;) We even had the Cherry Wine in the chocolate cups as a toast during the reception instead of the traditional champagne toast. Nicole and Stacy, the venue event coordinators, are phenomenal. First of all, they are the nicest people you will ever meet and they really have excellent customer service. They are quick to answer any of the hundreds of questions we had about planning the ceremony and reception and their experience with large events really shows. Our wedding went flawlessly thanks to their expertise. As far as outdoor/indoor options go, we had not 1 or 2 but *3* back up plans ready to go in case of rain. (Our first choice was out at the pergola by the pond, which we were lucky enough to get since the weather was beautiful). And if you work with their list of preferred vendors, the back up plans will be even easier to pull off because of their experience at the venue. If you're looking to have your wedding at Morais, just do it. I can't put in to words how incredibly perfect our wedding day was and I wouldn't have had it anywhere else.

beautiful wedding venue I've ever been to and I still can't believe I was able to have MY wedding there. The staff was absolutely amazing. Nicole and Stacy were the BEST, ensuring that all my need were met and my perfect day was gorgeous AND stress free. I love Morais and look forward to returning there every year (at a minimum) to celebrate our anniversary, enjoy the wonderful wine and relive our picturesque wedding.

In addition to the cosmetic beauty of the property it was one of the few places that could hold a wedding of over 200 people. My caterer and the Morais staff worked wonderfully together making everything go seamlessly on my big day. I could not recommend this venue enough.

on our wedding day so we moved the ceremony to the ballroom, but people were still in awe of the gorgeous venue. I was told that our plan B was better than a lot of couples' plan A! The weather cleared up after the ceremony, so we were able to have pictures outside in the vines, out back in the grass by the barn, and downstairs in the wine cellar -a great variety of spots. Our pictures turned out great! The wine was delicious, so of course everybody was happy. Nicole, the venue coordinator, was super friendly and organized. I loved everything about our wedding experience at Morais!
