ooking , meh, it's plain BBQ. Being a foodie I really wanted more. So searching this site I spotted the picture you see with MTQ and was intrigued. Web search and a quick call to Matt I had some info and what sounded like it could be perfect fit.
With MTQ not being too far from us, we assembled our close friends and their kids and went on a taste testing trip to Lambertville. You can smell the food as you approach the building and inside you find a great little location with a place to sit and a place to...pick up and instrument? So cool. We went to order a bit of everything and the staff and Matt were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food did not disappoint in the least. It actually became what we were looking forward to the most at the wedding. DELICIOUS!
Soon later, after more discussions and meal planning with Matt, we were set. Matt and his crew delivered an amazing meal for us and our guests. Many compliments were given with several inquiries into the source of such great food!
Thanks to Matt and MTQ for providing exactly what we were looking for our wedding. Highly recommend for your next event and also look forward to visiting their restaurant in the future

including things that aren't considered traditional BBQ or what is on his menu. This allowed us to customize our cocktail hour food. As for the main course, it was some of the best brisket my husband has ever had. We universally heard from everyone how great the food was, including from one of the groomsmen who is from the south. We specifically ordered more food than we needed for our number of guests so that we would have left overs and happily ate left overs afterwards.

ut 65 people. We had brisket, spare ribs, sausage and fried chicken sandwiches as well as baked beans, grits and kale and Brussels salad. The appetizers included deviled eggs 3 ways, and tomato and goat cheese crostini. Our guests raved about the food, which was perfect for our informal celebration. The service was impeccable, and Matt and his staff left our kitchen just the way it was when they arrived. Best of all, we had leftovers for the next day.
