We're Ryan & Jaclyn. We're elopement & wedding photographers based in Salt Lake City--although we live and travel all over the West in our van (Moonbeam). This is our full-time job. Our full time lifestyle.
We have a modern, documentary style approach. We pour our lives (and our puns) into our work. All of our packages automatically include a second shooter, and our photo turnaround for weddings is 2 weeks. If you like puns + adventure, we'll get along great.

ure wedding day (even before Covid hit). I had been looking up photographers and following Instagram pages to get a feel for different styles and narrow down what we were looking for.
Ryan and Jaclyn stood out to me for many reasons. First, they are in touch during the entire process and provide helpful advice and lists, help you find venders and a place to stay, and give suggestions on activities, restaurants, and coffee shops in the area. Also, they have a really laid back vibe and are really kind and genuine people. This was really important to us, because we were so nervous and don’t love being in front of a camera but they made it so easy! The main reason we chose them though, was the overall feel of the photos/videos. The editing and lighting were absolute perfection in each one, but the real draw to us was the intense emotions pouring out of each photo/video. The love was so apparent and everything looked so real and natural. These photos and videos told a story, and I knew these were the kind of memories I wanted to look back on.
Fast forward to the day of the wedding and meeting them in person for the first time. It truly felt like we were hanging out with friends. They were patient with us (especially when I had trouble with the altitude), made us laugh, and helped us to relax and be in the moment. They knew exactly when to give us alone time as well to take in the emotions and just be present with each other. Instead of positioning us in awkward poses, they gave us prompts to get all the good action shots and otherwise let us do our thing. We started off in the mountains for private vows at sunrise, took a break, then met back up for a beach wedding in the evening. Our day could not have been more perfect or seamless and I am grateful every day for how well our day came together, and we have Ryan and Jaclyn to thank for that.
We could not believe how stunning and natural our pictures and video looked when we received them. Everyone I show is always awe struck and cannot stop raving about what a great job our photographers did and how they are/it is the best wedding photos/video they have ever seen. When I received the video, I must have watched it 20+ times on that first day and cried almost every time. I am completely transported back to the day when I look at these memories, and this was the most valuable gift we could have been given. Their work truly does tell a story, and I highly recommend hiring them if you want to be able to revisit your love story over and over.
If you want an absolutely amazing elopement experience along with incredible photos and a tearjerking video that all capture the magic of your elopement, then you should 1000% hire...

Ryan and Jaclyn are an extremely talented, genuine, and intentional couple who did everything they could to make our elopement day, and everything leading up to it, as easy and stress free as possible and we are OVER THE MOON with everything they delivered to us. We had planned our elopement pre-COVID but went through some rough times deciding if we were going to keep our original date, change our location, or even cancel and revisit altogether. Ryan and Jaclyn graciously worked with us and dealt with all of our questions and concerns as we ultimately decided to change our location instead of postponing or cancelling. Even the day before our elopement we had a couple of concerns ( the road up to our location was closed) but they had already scouted another way to get up there to help keep us from freaking out the night before our wedding. In all of our calls, texts, and emails leading up to our date they were super clear, very responsive and made us feel like we were in good hands.
On the actual day of our elopement, we did the full day package, so we were with them from our sunrise ceremony to our sunset hike ( with a little nap in between) and it felt like we were on a double date with old friends - that’s how easygoing they were to be around and how at ease they made use feel in front of the camera. They recommended a sunrise ceremony and we are SO HAPPY we went with their recommendation ( highly recommend a sunrise ceremony to all adventuring eloping couples!). While of course they helped us out with certain poses so we could get specific photos we wanted, they also gave us plenty of space and time to enjoy our day as newlyweds (all while capturing magical moments on camera, and some moments where they knew we just needed time to be together and not on camera to soak it all in).
They delivered all our sneak peaks, photo, and video exactly according to our contract ( if not sooner for our sneak peaks and photos) and we, along with all our family and friends, jaws dropped at the epic photos and moments they captured. For all of our friends and fam who hemmed and hawed about us eloping- they understood after they saw the photos. Ryan and Jaclyn were able to show with photos how we felt on our wedding day, and that is something that you truly can’t put a price on. We can’t thank them enough for helping to make our day everything we imagined and more!

They made the process so easy for us. When we first contacted them, we set up a brief call for them to get to know us and for us to know them. It was easy breezy from then on.
It immediately felt like we were old friends and they made everything so comfortable and when it came time to get everyone together for photos, they knew what they were doing. It was so great to have them apart of our wedding as friends and just our Photographers. I specifically remember during the middle of the reception I briefly mentioned I need water to my line, and Jaclyn appears out of nowhere with a cup of water.
So if you need industry experts, lifelong friends, and INCREDIBLE photographers, you would be silly not to choose Ryan and Jaclyn!

e we said yes! I couldn’t be happier with the way the shots turned out. We hiked around in our formal wear and had such a blast. Then the next morning we woke up at 4 AM to get ready and catch the sunrise. My fiancé is a little stiff in front of the camera but they were able to catch these perfect moments with him. Real smiles, real happiness, and real love. I was SHOOK at how great our engagements turned out. They come with a plan and execute it graciously. Every time I suggested something they were all for it. They are fun and silly and make you feel very comfortable and as if they were old friends. Ryan loves puns and kept them coming the whole time. Jaclyn is so warm and sweet and also equally hilarious. They make a great team and REALLY know their stuff. They are so professional and we had great communication. I didn’t want to show my friends and family the photos until the big day, so of course I showed every stranger who would look at them. Every one of those strangers were BLOWN AWAY at our pictures. They were also shocked to find out that it was only $2200.00 for the product we received. o all we had to do was follow directions and laugh. They worked great with our puppy as well and we have a bunch of really great shots that capture her personality. We received our photos fast and all of the communication between us was super professional! They seem to be pretty down to earth people and we really enjoyed our night shooting with them and love every photo.
