I'm Morgan Elise!
I feel like many people get anxious when they hear "documentary photographer." This image of me yeeting you in front of the camera with no direction, and shouting "DO STUFF!".
No. I use my time on our initial call to gather as much information as possible about you, your love story, and your vision.
I then curate my work to reflect an accurate representation of YOU.
I will be guiding and directing you every step of the way. You will never have to worry about posing yourself with me.
I am a firm believer in "less is more."
I am not interested in stiff posing, excessive props, or forced smiles.
The last thing I want is for you to look back on your photos and think: "Why do I look so uncomfortable?"
I want you to be in an environment that brings out your authentic self.
After almost 15 years of practice, educational courses, and pushing myself to learn and grow, I can confidently say you will be pleased with your photos.
I'm a Leo and an empath. I pride myself in my ability to SEE you and give you an experience that will have you feeling and accepting your highest self. Photography has always been about more than just money for me. This is my passion, heart, soul, and platform to help others grow in their confidence.
I want you to leave our session accepting and claiming YOUR power.
In another life, I am convinced I was a comedian. I have found a way to balance professionalism and pure feralness. I have failed at my job if I can't keep you laughing and having fun throughout your session. I am not your girl if you're not a fan of being hyped up for hours on end.
I promise there will be no silence- I'm a full-time talker.

the day, I knew we could trust her with capturing our love. She made it a point to get to know us, and it is reflected in our photos - she does not take generic photos with the same poses for everyone, but instead captures their unique personality and relationship. Not only does she do this in her art, but working with her is similarly personalized. When we said we were camera shy, she helped give clear direction for posing. When we expressed wanting specific locations or poses, she remembered and honored it. Maybe most importantly, we have FUN with her. She makes the process feel easy and exciting, and at the end of having a great time, you have meaningful, beautiful photographs. Morgan’s second shooter, Delmy, was also so sweet, fun, & talented.
Our photos were outstanding - they are nothing short of art. Fun, artsy, candid (yet she helped us pose naturally enough that we look great) - everything you could want. Adding her film package was one of our favorite decisions of the whole wedding - we cannot stop gushing over the vintage, personal feel our film photos have.

They were such a true reflection of our personalities. We are so awkward in front of the camera, but you'd never know it looking at our photos.
