knew that the cake was going to be incredible. We wanted something slightly unconventional for our wedding and chose a cookie cake to cut and serve our guests. The communication from Morgans team was timely and very detailed. They listened to every request we had even down to specific flowers we wanted on the cake and made sure that it was exactly what we hoped for. We actually did not do any sort of tasting but I remember on our wedding day when we cut the cake and had a piece I instantly wanted more because it was THAT GOOD! Many of our guests are very picky when it comes to food and every single guest at the wedding RAVED about how much they loved the cake. The cookie layers and the frosting layers were delicious and not to mention that cake was gorgeous! And we couldn’t believe how Morgan got cookies to look elegant. If you are looking for someone to make your wedding cake or any cake for that matter Morgan is your girl! You will not be disappointed, we were so so happy we chose her for our wedding day!

led a call with Morgan to go over all the details. We ended up with a 3 tier cake with the intention of saving the top tier for our 1 year anniversary. I can't remember the flavors we chose but it was so delicious, soft and moist, and the fillings we chose were so creamy and yummy! Designing the cake was a little unique for us because my husband was being very picky, so he ended up designing our cake and with Morgan's suggestion, she added a few florals and hand painted a floral design that we fell in love with which in the end came out so beautifully!! We were obsessed with our cake. We also had a few gluten free cupcakes that were also delicious. All the communication with Morgan from start to finish was very seamless and easy. We opted to have our cake delivered which was amazing because we didn't have to worry about a thing as they also set up the cake and add any final touches. Morgan is such a sweet soul and it was a pleasure working with her. You won't regret going with Morgan Hunter Cakes!

Following, the wedding day we had Morgan and her team create personalized quote cookies, a selection of cupcakes and a tiered semi naked cake for us to cut. The chai spice cake was to-die for, and we loved that both of our flavors (chocolate w/ espresso salted caramel ganache, and chai spice w/ dulce de leche) were balanced, not-too-sweet, and simply perfect. We asked for a simple cake design with "tall and narrow" proportions, and that is exactly what we got. I hope to have Morgan Hunter Desserts at future celebrations!

would ever wish that I could have my cake taste like every single flavor that we tried. To make it even better, My inspiration photos that I provided were turned into reality. We had such a beautiful wedding cake AND it tasted great! Moist, Light, Fluffy, Flavorful, and AMAZING. We also had a bit of Gluten Free / Vegan Doughnuts due to a couple of guests who had dietary restrictions. Wow. Gluten free is hard to make taste good, but these were amazing. We were happy to have a few left over as they made a great late night snack :-p 100% Recommend! (In fact, I would love another excuse to get another cake from them!)

When our final Guest count was lower than expected, we were able to change our quantities with no problem. The flexibility was greatly appreciated! She was there for us as a couple when we had to postpone our first wedding date due to COVID and was super understanding. She baked the most amazing mini desserts including cake pops, mini cupcakes, mini donuts for our rehearsal dinner and the most delicious and beautiful cake for our wedding day. MHD provided a beautiful dessert display for our wedding that included a three tier cake, personalized cookies, mini cupcakes, cake gems, rock candy suckers, along with all the beautiful stands, our custom cake topper and custom to-go treat bags for our guests. Our dessert display was breath taking and the focal point of our reception. My only regret is I didn’t make more time during the reception to get more of the delicious treats for myself! I could go on an on about this team. Just book them!

The only thing I regret is not ordering more cake... we opted not to save a tier and everyone ate every last piece. I'll be coming back to order more from her in the future!
