And Morgan's exquisite use of light is a skill that even the most professional photographer's dream of nailing. Morgan just has it all. I loved Morgan's work so much I FLEW her into NYC from Ohio. We were a bit nervous hiring someone from out of state because of the headache traveling could cause, but working with Morgan felt like you were working with a local photog. She handled all the travel arrangements herself and even flew in a day early to take 'day-before-the-wedding' photos at Brooklyn Bridge Park, as well as covering the rehearsal dinner. We got our own taste of Morgan's work first-hand while at the Brooklyn Bridge Park photoshoot. It started off great, with the bride and groom posing on the bridge when all of a sudden the skies opened up and it started to pour. Well, that was nothing for Morgan. She remained calm, thought quickly on her feet, and came up with the most creative backup plan during the rain. I honestly don't even think a native New Yorker would have reacted as wonderfully as Morgan did. When Morgan sent us the final gallery of photos from this session we were ironically thankful for the rain because we got to benefit from Morgan's wildly creative ideas. The photos were truly remarkable. With this being a Jewish wedding, there were a lot of customs and traditions that needed to be photographed on the wedding day. Morgan was unbelievable. She did the necessary research, watched videos, and was proactive enough to schedule a call with me to make sure she didn't miss any custom from her research. I was blown away by her attention to detail, specifically on the traditional Jewish aspects and her keen interest in learning about them. The day of the wedding, Morgan's professionalism was outstanding. She had a strong enough presence to manage MANY family members and ensure we stayed on schedule. She photographed portraits inside the synagogue so beautifully, directed us on posing, and took the most fun party shots. Her professionalism, paired with her enthusiastic and happy demeanor, truly added to the affair. We left the wedding weekend feeling 100% satisfied. And then we received the photos. OMG. To say they were the most gorgeous pieces of art I have seen would be an understatement. Morgan truly outdid herself. Her classic approach to editing, paired with her modern ideas, culminated in the most outstanding wedding photos I could have imagined. They are TRULY art. By looking at the photos, it is clear why Morgan takes the team she does to edit. She makes sure that ever photo is consistent and can be printed large format. She is so serious about her craft and the time she takes in turning albums around is warranted when you see the product. Do yourself a favor and hire Morgan. It will be the best wedding decision you make!
