Philadelphia & New York Wedding and Engagement Photography Studio is a group of creative misfits obsessed with storytelling and having a damn good time. You can't be bored with us because we will rejoice, cry, party with your friends, and be family before the ceremony begins! We are known for breaking the barriers of client and vendor relationships and knowing our couples so well they can be present and enjoy their wedding celebration! We are a wedding photography and film studio focused on capturing epic portraits and raw, candid emotions for our amazing couples.

Morina Photography is pleased to travel worldwide to capture beautiful couples of love stories. Their style is a blend of fashion, editorial, and journalistic. High-resolution finished products can be collected as digital files or as prints. There are also various other options available with their bespoke packages. Nik and David would be pleased to work with any couple, helping them create keepsakes they will cherish for a lifetime.

n like clock work and followed me throughout the entire day. I provided him a Pinterest mood board before the big day and it really showed he studied the board to get the shots I wanted. The quality of work is also 10/10!!! Nik takes awesome and unique photos and has a great eye. I totally recommend the film add on because I find it so talented and amazing he got some film photos! Nik had like 5 different cameras, it was crazy! Also, the timeliness was impeccable. Nik's team delivered my full wedding album in less than 3 weeks. ny questions I would email him with, and eventually hop on a call with me to talk through flow or day of questions. Nik and his wife Dona did our engagement shoot as well and it was so easy to be with them and trust the process. Nik’s mind is so creative and I didn’t know where he was going with some things, but the end result was more gorgeous than anything I’ve seen. I had read so much about predetermining shots you want and I really threw that out the window because I knew that Nik was going to do a better job than anything I’d read about.
About 2 months before the wedding Nik and Dona sent us a questionnaire to fill out to help them get to know Joe and I both individually and a couple. We filled this out independently and it really got us in such a loving and appreciative mindset before the wedding and I can’t wait for Nik to share our responses in the future.
Day of Nik and David were on time, professional, kind, quick, and clear with everything. My father in law, who doesn’t like many people and has very HIGH expectations for everything, loved them so much he wanted to pay for them to stay extra hours for the after party. I know you all don’t know the man, but that’s the highest compliment I think he’s ever given anyone.
Nik got our sneak peaks back to us within 72 hours and our entire ~1100 photos back to us within 3 weeks. Nik has a phenomenal work ethic and couldn’t recommend him enough to anyone in search of a photographer who can be both a fly on the wall as well as direct you through shots.

rom the very beginning, Nik made the planning process seamless and personalized. He sent us a detailed survey weeks before the wedding to make sure he was aware of the events, special moments, and important guests we wanted captured. We also had a Zoom call with him to go over everything again, which really gave us peace of mind that we were all on the same page.
On the day of the wedding, Nik and his second photographer, David, arrived at the bridal suite right on time. They started capturing the getting-ready process, from candid moments with the bridal party to meaningful shots of Alyson getting into her dress. Most importantly, they didn’t forget about one of the VIPs of the day—our dog, Lily Rose! Nik was incredibly organized, professional, and helped keep us on schedule without making us feel rushed.
When it came time for the first look, David stayed with Jared while Nik was with Alyson, and they walked us through exactly what to expect. We took our portraits just across the street from the venue, which was not only convenient but resulted in some truly beautiful backdrops. Though we’ve only seen a preview so far, we can already tell the photos are going to be absolutely stunning.
During the ceremony and reception, Nik and David were like photography ninjas—present and capturing everything, yet never intrusive. We honestly barely noticed they were there, which let us be in the moment, but they were also great about pulling together family and friends for group photos throughout the evening.
We’re so excited to see the full gallery, but we already know Nik captured moments we’ll cherish for a lifetime. If you’re looking for a professional, detail-oriented, and incredibly talented wedding photographer, we can’t recommend Morina Photography enough.

From Day 1 of meeting, I knew Dona & Nik was the move. The pictures they captured are incredible—legit total magazine vibes. They are so creative and Jack and I had an absolute BLAST working with them. Running around taking photos was a core wedding highlight to me. I felt like I had my good friends along for the day, laughing with us and capturing the absolute best moments. Not only are they photographers, Dona & Nik literally sewed my broken dress back together twice, let me borrow lip gloss, sunglasses, helped me get out of fountain sopping wet… I could go on about how fab this duo is. he greatest photographers and are also wonderful people. We booked their most full package and are SO happy we did so we can have as many photos as we can from these talented photographers. We started with our engagement shoot with them which was so fun to get to know them and their style and also get comfortable posing in front of the camera. We loved all of those photos and used them for our wedding website and save the dates. We also are so glad we added the photobooth with printing! They do an amazing job of managing it and our guests had so much fun taking photos and bringing them home. Their full photography package is incredible value and I would recommend that to everyone!
If I had to describe their photography in a word, it would be “authentic.” They capture moments and emotions and our photos really tell the story of our wedding. When we look at the pictures, it’s exactly as we remember the day and we feel so lucky that our photographers were able to really capture those memories for a lifetime. They are kind and disarming and their presence put us at ease. They are silly and don’t take themselves too seriously which makes the sometimes awkward process of taking posed photos fun. They are artistic and capture such interesting shots. They are sneaky and able to get great photos without being intrusive or make the guests feel like they are being watched. Morina Photography was everything we hoped for from wedding photographers and so much more.

They obviously know how to take beautiful portraits and pretty candids, but what they have that is so unique is the ability to notice the things that would've otherwise slipped through the cracks- the hysterical laughing of our guests when my sister told a fantastic joke during her speech, my bridesmaids running around frantically in the morning getting everything set up, my grandpa kissing my grandma at the end of the anniversary dance (in celebration of their 53 years of marriage)...
I truly think our wedding day would not have been the same without them and it's clear how hard they worked and how much they cared about delivering for us. d to do a photo shoot. He said Devils Pool in Wissahickon Valley Park and we said yes let’s do it! The photos turned out amazing. It was only our second time meeting Nik but we ventured out on a 10 minute hike right after the sunset using our phone flashlights to guide us. It was so worth it. He had such an amazing eye for what he wanted to capture and edited the photos so beautifully. Fast forward to our wedding day. From the moment he showed up at our hotel room to start shooting for the day he began picking up props and playing with fun angles. You can tell he really loves what he does. He was able to capture our love so perfectly and authentically without any force whatsoever. We were having a great day like we were the only two people in the world and Nik was there to document everything as it went along. We even got to relive our wedding day over and over again after some wawa photos went viral on social media. Starting off the process, we knew we wanted unforgettable pictures of our special day (days in this case). We met Nik and provided him our idea to have a small Vietnamese tea ceremony in my hometown and do a destination photoshoot in Rome. As crazy as the idea was, the timing worked out perfectly for us. We clicked so well that we locked him in the first day.
Nik was very accommodating and very prompt with communication. There was never a moment of awkwardness during our photoshoots with Nik and his team. He actually made it a really fun and casual day for us during our photoshoot in Rome.

is with Nik Morina. He is a master of his craft and simply put, the best photographer we could've asked for. What really sold us was his creative photography abilities and his very warm personality. Having a lot of anxiety myself, I was afraid of being photo shy. I felt completely at ease the whole day and we ended up with really beautiful shots. If you look through his site, you'll see a lot of really creative and unique photos specific to each person's day. He's able to look at your venue through a very unique lens and come up with something just for you. He was very attentive and showed up to the venue early to scout out a place that would be dry in the event of rain. It really meant a lot to not have to worry about details like that knowing that you're working with a professional that cares. It was very important to us to find an amazing photographer to document this day so that we'll have memories that will last a lifetime. Our expectations were surpassed and I am recommending him to everyone that I know for future events!

When we couldn't find music, he played it from his phone. When my mom couldn't button my dress, he took over. When my keds were untied halfway through the night, he tied the laces for me. Nik's right-hand man David was great with my husband, capturing all the little details I couldn't be there to see, and making him feel extremely confident and comfortable. I feel like most wedding pictures are the same just with different Brides and Grooms. We wanted non boring, fun and colorful pictures. From our snowy engagement photo session to our summer, bright wedding, Nik went above and beyond. I mean, seriously, you don't see a photographer in the middle of the session, roll his paints up, put on water shoes and go into the river looking for the perfect angle!
I loved our pictures so much, my only regret is not having enough time for more and more pictures (even though we had 859 of them)!

hot, Nik asked us to wait in the bridal suite while he and his team quickly set up where we were going to take photos. Once they were ready, the photos were quickly taken from one location to the next and Nik and his team were on the same page and the photos turned out absolutely beautiful. Nik made sure my dress was laying correctly on every pose and everyone noticed his effort to ensure every detail was just right. Our last photo of the night was captured in the rain and everyone that witnessed that photo was amazed that he was able to capture such a moment. What we love most about Nik’s work is that he knows how to captures emotions, priceless moments and the color of the photos is absolutely stunning. Nik is absolutely the BEST!

He and his associate were both exceedingly professional on the day of the wedding - scouting locations, handling large family portraits, and generally working so hard to get incredible shots.
