My text messages i was sending you in Feb prior to your date was not delivering and you didn’t give me a phone call or a text to contact you at a different number I found a random email finally stating you changed your number two months before your wedding . The initial tour was done by my son as you stated rather than the owner so that wasn’t a surprise you still booked i didn’t know it was an issue to have family members work if it should have only been me let me apologize .Also your rehearsal was for you to rehearse not a final tour you only need access to the venue to rehearse it wasn’t your first or second time there so i didn’t attend your rehearsal . When you came to pay your final payment we went over table count etc. . I was there ( as you stated that you handed over final payment ) all though i didn’t think of it that way i felt like you was there paying for your venue . Also we was communicating the day of i was home and i would have came down and pulled two tables and put linens on them for you if you 20 minutes and out no problem at all they was right on site . Also we don’t provide ice but you had ask for it so i ordered it from Krogers delivery not door dash. The empty commercial fridge and freezers are cold and ready for your drinks you brought in to be loaded the fridge it hold lots of cases of drinks and prepares them but that wouldn’t be something that i would handle thats your choice to do. . There wasn’t a ceremony setup issue with the Ceremony Chairs they wasn’t left on the concrete they was placed on the concrete around 9pm the night prior due to a flash flood storm that severely hit the venue area and all surrounding counties flooding roads and yards etc. . My husband and I and all family members was on site removed the chairs from the grass ceremony area and cleaned them off and raked the entire ceremony area from the debris from the storm . The chairs was wet due to it was still raining the following day at certain times . Everyone Always prepare to have someone dry off chairs if it rains when choosing and outdoor ceremony barn venue we don’t service your wedding. We didn’t put them back on the grass because it wasn’t possible. We thought it was amazing that you made it outside for your ceremony with how bad the weather was that weekend . The extreme large patio of concrete was placed on back of venue for a ceremony area as well if desired or if weather has prevented use on grass . The pergola/Arch that is for your use to use or the cross is as well. Due to weather the Pergola wasn’t able to be used or moved due to the storm and how heavy the pergola is , weather permitting no one could move it . Im sorry you couldn’t use it. This is something that all the family’s and bride and grooms prepare for when booking a wedding barn venue Reception and outdoor ceremony understand. When your renting space /venue / chairs/ tables/ linens and the venue. We don’t charge vendors fee’s to come to use the venue to service your wedding .We didn’t cater , we didn’t bartend , we didn’t dj , we didn’t photograph , we didn’t coordinate , we only charged a venue price with tables chairs linens the venue was cleaned an everything was in working order we are not supposed to be on site to help with the way you wedding schedule or operation goes .Just wish you would have reached out no matter what problem that you needed or wanted help with at the venue. The statement you made at the end about the Venue itself is beautiful and the overall look and setting you truly loved . That is 100 percent Hands-On ownership from every table that was out all the linens that was on ,all the lawn that was manicured to every thing in the venue you use or touch was provided to you was 100 percent done by owner hands on . I did your table clothes that night at 2 AM i moped the floors my husband and son did there parts we finished at 4 AM .The venue bill with us is always less than the catering bill for each wedding. We keep pricing down by doing the jobs as a family . We take pride in the venue and the weddings. Im sorry for being honest here It doesn’t have seem to be a fit for you and that is okay doesn’t make us terrible some people need a full service venue and have to pay the amount it cost for a full service venue . We built the venue from the ground up , my husband manicures those beautiful surrounding’s daily . Im so sorry no matter if you felt like it wasn’t a good fit for you honestly i wish you would have just mentioned you wanted help with anything i would have gladly came and helped you no mattr if it was my responsibility or not.
