The music was probably the most important aspect of our wedding - we have been to a ton of weddings where no one was dancing, or the music was the run of the mill wedding music playlist... which we obviously wanted to avoid. Marcus was able to execute exactly what we were going for during each part of our wedding - from before the ceremony started to the very last song played at the reception. We received a ton of compliments from all of our guests about the music - everyone was dancing from the beginning to the end. Even now, weeks after our wedding, we still have guests talking about how awesome the DJ was! Our guests had a wonderful time and the dance floor was full from the time it was opened until the very last song (and even then people wanted to keep dancing!). Mike listens to your requests during meetings and reads the crowd for the right songs. We had a fantastic reception. There were a few songs (2-3 songs) played that I know I didn’t put on the playlist but it went with the flow. Otherwise, everything was superb. Also, my groom decided to change the mother-son dance song at the last minute before entrances and he accommodated without missing a beat.
The reason I took away two stars for quality is because of conflict connecting with the woman who handles the company’s money. She was trying to charge more than the agreed upon price when our date was approaching. She apologized and claimed their “system sometimes does this.” I’m just thankful I was keeping track of prices on my own, and emails so I could reference the contract we made. This was my only quarrel. On the plus side, she did respond to my emails quickly. But DJ Mike Biddle was fantastic. He listens to all your requests.

ng to weddings with cheesy DJs because it just kills the atmosphere. Mike knows that good music is the key to the event and doesn't try to be goofy and cheesy. We met with him before the event and he walked us through the timeline. We didn't even need a formal wedding planner/coordinator because Mike basically controls the flow of the reception. He is the ultimate professional and Raleigh is lucky to have him. Save your pennies and book him because you will regret it if you hire someone else!

The website was the best planning tool. We had one phone meeting with Marcus a few weeks before the wedding and talked about the feel of the evening that we were looking for, and he even accommodated a short playlist, scheduled it for later in the night like we asked and mixed some of the songs together so it felt like we were all out dancing. Marcus was super professional and put together a really fun night for our guests. He's the best.
