versation with Esther was over the phone and at this point I was just shopping around, looking for quotes from different caterers in the Sarasota area. I was very overwhelmed and did not have a clear idea what type of food I wanted. Esther was patient and kind; she gave me several options to consider and took the extra time to break down all the pricing for me. I was so impressed with her fast responses and professionalism that I knew I wanted Morton’s to cater the wedding before I had even tasted the food. Eventually we settled on a southern style menu and Esther took our idea and created a delicious menu for us that exceeded my expectations. Everything tasted great and it had just the perfect amount of style, fried green tomatoes and all. After the tasting, we signed the contract and the real work began. I had to choose all the other things that go along with a wedding, the plates, napkins, chairs, and the list goes on and on. Esther was always helpful giving great recommendations and even finding ways to save me money wherever she could. Esther was so awesome I ended up making her my “day-of” coordinator. She had helped me find someone to do the makeup, our officiant, and the DJ Company; all of which were also fantastic. I trusted that she would make sure the day went smoothly and she didn’t disappoint! On my wedding day I enjoyed my time with my friends and family, I did not stress about anything. I even ate most of my dinner! Sure some unexpected things happened but Esther made it work. She handled everything, she was amazing and to me the day was absolutely perfect. Everyone enjoyed the food, and had such a good time. Every detail turned out exactly how I imagined. Thank you Esther and all the catering staff at Morton’s Gourmet Market for making my wedding so memorable!

EW she was the perfect person to help plan our special day. She ensured everything we wanted was incorporated into the wedding! The food was amazing, and my guests loved it from the chicken, to the salmon, mashed potatoes, veggies & of course the cupcakes!!! Whenever I had a concern, question or need Esther was so responsive & knew exactly how to answer. She is top notch & we will be forever thankful to her for her services & for Morton's quality! Big shot out to the staff/servers at our wedding. They worked their tails off and were so kind through out it all! We could not have asked for a better team for our wedding!! . We had Morton’s provide the appetizers for the cocktail hour, a buffet dinner, and the wedding cake. Prior to the wedding we had a tasting of all the food that we were planning on serving. This proved very helpful because we decided to change up the menu a little bit after that to provide more variety. For appetizers we got the vegetable platter, samosas, and chicken skewers. For the buffet dinner we had caesar salad, dinner rolls, garlic broccolini, lasagna, mushroom ravioli, and chicken alfredo. The food tasted great! We received numerous compliments from guests about how delicious the dinner was. For the cake, we had a three tier cake and it looked and tasted absolutely wonderful. I sent Morton’s pictures of what we wanted the cake to look like and they really did a great job. It was three tier (10”, 8”, and 6”) with white roses and baby’s breath. It was also ombre and turquoise in color. Not only were the food and cake delicious but the service we received from Morton’s from day 1 has been great. Esther at Mortons was very prompt in responding to emails and phone calls. My husband and I changed the menu several times and she would send us another quote in no time. She was also very understanding when I called her three days before the wedding to ask her when was the absolute latest I could confirm the headcount due to the hurricane causing flight delays and cancelations. She told me that at 9am the day before the wedding they would start preparing the food and that she would need to know then. Everyone was able to make it to the wedding as planned but the fact that she was going to let me change the headcount the day before the wedding demonstrates how much Morton’s was willing to work with me to make sure everything worked out on my big day. The service received on the day of the wedding was also just wonderful. The catering team did a great job setting all the tables and setting up the buffet table with the decorations and centerpieces I had provided them with. The catering team was also very well dressed and very professional. After the wedding they kindly boxed up all the leftovers food and cake. I highly recommend Morton’s Catering for anyone’s wedding. The food and cake they made were so delicious and they provided me with impeccable service! Thank you to Morton’s and to Esther.
