I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks for the incredible experience my mother and I had working with you both. From the moment we reached out, you made the daunting task of planning my brother’s rehearsal dinner from four hours away feel effortless. My mother was overwhelmed trying to coordinate everything, and thanks to a recommendation from our florist, we found you and Annie, and I truly cannot express how grateful we are.
From the very start, you were nothing short of spectacular. Your attention to detail, hard work, and dedication shone through at every turn. You were always one step ahead, offering quick solutions and thoughtful ideas to make the event a success. Walking into the rehearsal dinner with a huge smile on our faces was all thanks to you and your wonderful team.
I also want to extend a special thank you to Devin, one of your amazing team members. When I say she does not skip a beat, I truly mean it. Throughout the evening, Devin was an absolute gem, anticipating every need before we could even ask. Whether it was a chair, a drink, or helping with the setup, she was always there, making sure everything ran smoothly. Her kindness and attentiveness even extended to helping with my two little ones, which allowed me to relax and enjoy the evening. It’s rare to come across such dedication and care, and her work ethic did not go unnoticed.
By the end of the evening, we had tears in our eyes, knowing this event was everything my parents had dreamed of for my brother and his bride. You went above and beyond, and we cannot thank you enough.

HIRE MOST JOYFUL DAY. My husband and I hired Julianne and Annie for day-of-coordination and tablescaping, and it was the BEST decision we made all of wedding planning! Annie was thorough, punctual, and incredibly responsive for all coordination. My wedding day was remarkably relaxed and this was all due to Annie!! Her creativity in tablescaping truly brought my vision to life. The guests all remarked about how smoothly everything ran on the day of the wedding. I absolutely loved every minute of interacting with Annie, and 15/10 recommend her to all NWA brides considering Most Joyful Day!

Extremely nice people and if you want someone who will decorate with your vision they are great, but you need to be very involved in every detail to get to that point. They were unorganized and scattered during the entire process and I found and communicated with most of the vendors myself from out of state. A lot of the little details we discussed about the day of weren't executed properly. We were very surprised they left for an hour lunch while everyone was rushing around before the ceremony. They also left for the night at 8pm, 2.5 hours before the wedding was over without instructions for vendors for the rest of the night.

We're very sorry to hear that our willingness to support your Mom in her requested role as lead caterer appears to have been perceived by you as a negative, especially given the extra time spent on our part to help her bring those plans to fruition, given that she lives so many states away.
Throughout the planning process, our team took care to create a level of service that would patiently welcome whatever input and involvement you and your Mom requested relating to this special circumstance, and to provide support with wheels on the ground here, in executing all of the extra details that your Mother requested that she personally plan.
As I wrote in my reply all response to your Mother's previous email in which you were copied; that included performance concerns about several of the other vendors we lined up for you, we have passed those comments and criticisms along to them.

The best money we spent out of the whole budget!! We were planning our wedding in NW Arkansas from out of state and I knew I needed a local expert to help us out. We hired Julianne early in our planning process for day of coordinating services and I knew she would be a great help but we seriously would not have had a wedding without her! From last minute rental snafus (which she resolved within hours, finding us a new company within budget weeks before our big day), a lost bus carrying the grooms family, and the general stress I was not prepared to handle - Julianne was on top of everyone and everything the second she started. She handled our entire day (and me) with joy and calm professionalism. Of all the vendors we worked with she made sure our whole experience was the best it could be and it was even better than we dreamed. We will be forever grateful to her and her team and will always highly recommend her for any and all wedding planning needs.

I lost my husband of 43 years this past December and he did not want a traditional funeral so I decided to host a Celebration of Life for him in the spring. He loved all things Asian and orange was his favorite color. I decided on an Asian Garden Party at a beautiful outdoor venue. I relayed some of my vision to Julianne and she knew immediately how to carry out that vision. She came to my home and selected some of our decorative items to use and she executed my vision superbly. I arrived and was blown away by her attention to detail and the most important thing for me that it truly reflect my husband's personality. It went beyond my wildest expectations. All of the guests spoke to me about how beautiful everything was, and the flowers she arranged with Julie Mendenhall were breathtaking. One guest told me they thought they were some of the most amazing floral creations they had ever seen. While this type of an event was also a bit melancholy, Juliannes joyful and positive energy were a huge help to me at a difficult time. I adore her and would recommend her to anyone looking for an event planner who will truly go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. I adore her and look forward to working with her again sometime, if the occasion should present itself.

Julianne created the flowers for my wedding! My bridal bouquet was absolutely AMAZING and was just what I had envisioned! So many people said it was the most beautiful bridal bouquet they had seen! She also created the grooms boutonniere, which was perfect and the groomsmen boutonnieres were just as fabulous! Julianne was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend her for any wedding details! She is GREAT!
Working with with Julianne and her team was a breeze. Our catering team was hired last minute to assist on one of her weddings. Julianne was responsive in a timely manner and always willing to hear our suggestions when it came to menu selections and presentation to assist her couple. Her experience and expertise helped us excell with such short notice.

Our wedding was just not an evening . It was an entire weekend of hosting . Julianne and Annie made the entire occasion very special. The attention to detail was superb. I liked Julianne from the moment I met her. She listened to what I had to say and added input when I needed advice. I got to pick out the fun stuff (dresses, colors, cakes, flowers) and she did all the rest. All I had to do was show up to the wedding. I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING! She was a major part in making my wedding perfect and beautiful!

Julianne makes the crazy number of decisions to be made for your wedding and reception seem almost manageable! As a traveling professional on a 6 month timeline to plan a wedding, I had limited amount of time to devote to the planning, but Julianne kept me on track and filled in all my 'gaps', all the things I would not have known to consider, with great ideas while keeping mindful of budget. The day of our wedding was truly 100% stress-free for me and my fiance', as every detail was managed for us and we were able to simply relax and enjoy our day. We hired Julliane to design the tablescapes for our wedding reception and she did a fantastic job! We collaborated remotely and she nailed the look and feel we wanted. She supplied china, linens, goblets, serving plates, vases, candlesticks; the list goes on. Our guests loved it and so did we! Easy to work with, expert level knowledge, super creative and fun. Would not do a major event without her!
I don't even know where to start! Julianne was my day-of coordinator for my wedding yesterday, and I cannot express how amazing she was throughout the entire process. I'm not going to go into detail about what all the package includes, but she was so unbelievably helpful from the day I hired her to the day of the wedding. I know it seems like a big investment, but I PROMISE you it is so worth it! She knows venues, vendors, traditions, expectations... basically everything you never thought you needed to know about getting married, worry no longer! She also has a vintage rental shop that is well stocked with amazing decor. Julianne was a total rockstar/hero/lifesaver the day before the wedding and the day of the wedding. She took care of everything when I simply could not make another decision. She really went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our day and didn't spend the whole weekend stressing over little things, or even potential big things. Everyone commented on her cheerful attitude and how much she genuinely enjoys what she does as well. Everything went so smoothly and I'm certain it would have been a giant mess without her, and I assure you I am not exaggerating! The peace of mind we had throughout the weekend knowing we had someone who understood our vision and knew what we wanted was priceless. The fact that she executed it all as well just further proves how amazing she is. I highly recommend Julianne and Most Joyful Day!

We LOVED working with Julianne!! We were planning our wedding from out-of-state, which adds another layer of crazy onto wedding planning but Julianne made everything so easy! She was always willing to make time for us when we were in town to do some planning - which was a life saver! Julianne helped us with several floral and catering appointments and asked questions that we would never have thought to ask. When the wedding day came, Julianne took care of EVERYTHING. From setting up the venue, to coordinating vendors, keeping us on track, and even helping fix my bustle after it had broken multiple times. We could not be more grateful for everything Julianne did to make our dream day come true! Plus, her positive and bubbly attitude kept everyone at ease throughout the planning process. We hired Julianne Darnell of Most Joyful Day as the day of coordinator to pull everything together for my daughter's wedding. However, as the date got closer I got concerned there was a lot of upfront work needed and I live 9 hours away in Texas. Julianne went out of her way to meet with my daughter, give us great advice on decorations and general logistics of the day. She was always available for quick questions. She went way beyond the call of duty to make sure everything for the wedding day was perfect. I believe she was even able to get the perfect weather! She took control of the entire day including interaction with the vendors which relieved me of any unnecessary stress. Julianne comes highly recommended and you will not

We hired Julianne and Most Joyful Day for our daughter’s wedding.... after all said and done and her dad and I are leaving the reception- he looks at me and says - Julianne Hudson Darnell was the best decision of the wedding. She made it all come together and gave Anna and Hunter exactly what they wanted. And she was attentive, professional and a personal godsend for me. We moved to the East Coast 2 years ago. So she was “me” in NWA. And I needed that. She’s awesome. Do yourself a favor - turn it over to her. And be mom and dad and enjoy the day or weekend.
I'll start by saying that I really didn't want to hire a wedding planner. I thought "why can't I just do it all myself! Sure it's a lot of work, but why spend the money?"
That all changed the moment I met Julianne. She is a truly special person, and her wonderful attitude is backed up by an acute designer's eye. She had fantastic and tasteful ideas that stayed within our budget and had everyone at the wedding talking about how gorgeous the decor was.
And not only does she have the most wonderful design ideas, but she knows all the best vendors in Fayetteville, and steered us towards a wonderful collection of people that she coordinated flawlessly to make my wedding day as stress-free as possible.

Let's be honest, wedding days are a blur. You don't really remember many names or faces other than your spouse and (hopefully) immediate family, but Julianne makes that list. From beginning to end, working with her and her team was an incredible experience. I suffer from a serious case of "zero creativity" and had no idea where to start with wedding decorations. My first call with Julianne was a life saver - she got to know me and my fiance and then went off and created something from nothing... and that something was beautiful, unique and perfectly matching our personalities. On top of that, she went above and beyond in coordinating with my dessert and party rental vendors and even worked directly with them to bring everything together on the big day.
