Mother Myrick's Confectionery

My wedding anniversary is coming up (10.27.18) and I wanted to thank Mother Myrick’s and Jacki. I had heard about Mother Myrick’s buttercrunch and lemon lulu cake and knew that we definitely wanted to have these at our wedding. My MIL bought small boxes filled with buttercrunches for the welcome bags. My husband and I decided to have a dessert table and scattered around the table 125 small lemon lulettes as well as mini cupcakes from Mother Myrick’s. The dessert table looked beautiful! They were all a HUGE hit and even now our guests still talk about the buttercrunch, lemon lulettes, and cupcakes and how delicious the desserts were. We also had our wedding cake made by Mother Myrick’s and opted for a smaller wedding cake more as a decoration/ceremonial piece. WOW! Our wedding cake (Vanilla Cake with seedless raspberry jam and Italian meringue vanilla buttercream) was beautifully made and absolutely delicious. Mother Myrick’s has become a staple in my family now. MIL purchased a lemon lulu cake and buttercrunch for a special occasion a few month ago. My husband and I plan to purchase a lemon lulu cake yearly now for our wedding anniversary. On our wedding day, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Jacki worked with our wedding day coordinator and florist to put the final touches on the wedding cake and dessert table. I was so happy when I saw how beautiful the desserts/dessert table looked. Jacki, thank you so much for making our wedding day very special with your DELICIOUS treats!

Mother Myricks has been a staple in my family since I was a little girl. Whenever in Manchester we would stop by for a treat and I even was a part of their summer book club (read a book, get a treat)! With that in mind, I thought they would be the perfect people to do our wedding cake. Jacki was wonderful to work with! Responsive, helpful and sweet. She made everything very easy and worked with our florist (Lily of the Valley) to make our vision a reality with a simple white cake with delicate flowers. The cake was beautiful and so delicious. Thank you so much for your help making our wedding day so special!

Lemon Lulus have become somewhat of a legend in our home. We have had them shipped, we have driven from New York to Vermont for them, we have made relatives load their trunks up with them, all because a holiday isn't complete without one. In fact, when I got married this year, I knew I had to have Lemon Lulettes as a favor! They were delicious, of course, and they all looked beautiful on our tables. Jacki was extremely easy to work with, all 220 were perfectly packaged for the drive to New York, and we couldn't have been happier with the results. I'm also happy I ordered a few extra because they freeze perfectly and are a great treat that taste as good as the day they were made. I can't wait for our annual trip back to Vermont to pick up some more!

We came to Mother Myrick's fairly last minute as we were originally not sure if we wanted to do cake - we are so glad that we did!! From the beginning, Jacki and her team were flexible and super helpful. We were unable to get up for a tasting (did I mention it was fairly last minute? just a few weeks out), relying upon word of mouth and all of the other great reviews online. Just reading reviews doesn't give them justice. The cake was beyond exceptional and we received many great comments about the presentation and flavor. Our only regret is that we didn't pick them sooner so we could have the tasting - an excuse to try more of their delicious cake!
