We booked Motor City Party Bus at the end of January for our October wedding. We chose the company mainly beause of its copper seat party bus. Something told me I should contact the company to confirm the booking, so one month before our wedding, I sent 2 emails, neither of which were answered, and ended up calling and speaking to Tim, the owner, who confirmed the copper seat party bus with me over the phone. One week later, I received an email from the office manager asking me to call. I then found out, 3 weeks before our wedding, that Tim had in fact sold the same bus he confirmed with me just one week prior, leaving us with no transportation for our bridal party. It took another week for them to offer a solution. But by that time, we no longer trusted the company, so we booked another bus elsewhere for actually $100 less than the discounted price we were offered from Motor City Party Bus. To say we were incredibly disappointed in how events unfolded and the sluggish response to fix the situation is an understatement.
I used Motor City party bus for my fiance's 30th birthday party. The price was good so I went with them. When the picked us up, I realized it was not the bus I was promised. When I booked with them, I was told the 25 passenger bus would fit 22 comfortably. We were crammed in and one guest had to stand the whole time.
I figured after this, I would give them one more shot for the wedding. I called them several times and left a few messages. Tim the owner called me back and gave me a quote. I told him I'd check with my fiance about pricing and would call back later that day. I called and no answer. He never called me back, even after I left 2 messages stating I was interested in booking. They seem highly unorganized.
We rented the 28 passenger bus to pick up the ladies from our hotel, to pick up the entire bridal party from church and then take us all back to our reception venue. The bus driver was absolutely amazing, very friendly. The bus itself was gorgeous inside. I would highly suggest this bus! We actually fit 28 people and 4 little kids on it.
Motor City Party Bus was the limo company we choose to do our wedding and the service was fantastic. While Tim, the owner, may be a little hard to get in touch with at times, he was very accommodating for some of the special circumstances for my wedding.
On my wedding day, October 26, 2013, Dan, our limo driver, was 25 minutes early. He called me to let me know that he was there and to make sure that I had his phone number for the day. Our experience was amazing. From the red carpet rolled out to Dan ensuring that my dress did not get dirty getting in and out of the limo. Thank you for making our wedding so wonderful!
The bus that was sent to us was very nice. It was clean and the driver was extremely nice. However, the bus that arrived was not the bus we paid for. We ordered a bus for 32 (we had about 28 people on it) and a bus for roughly 28 showed up. The bus was crammed.
Our driver was outside, ready when we were, about an hour before I said we would need him. Once ready, he rolled out a red carpet and assisted us all into the bus, introduced himself, and away we went! The bus was very nice inside. New leather seating - an overall great and comfortable atmosphere. After the ceremony, he was there at the door to load us all up again. Very efficient. Everything went very smoothly. AND BEST price around! Sometimes you get what you pay for - with these guys you get great service for a bargain!
We used Motor City Party Bus for transportation for our bridal party for our February 9th 2013 wedding in Brighton, MI (reception in Hartland). The bus was for the bridal party only and took us from the hotel to the ceremony, to our photo locations, and finally dropped us off at the reception. They could be a little difficult to reach in the office at times but were always prompt in returning voicemails and emails. Their rates were reasonable and absolutely worth the service we received. The bus was clean (inside and out), classy, and spacious with music hookups for an ipod. Our driver was very friendly and personable, dressed professionally and drove safely, he also stuck to the itinerary and was very conscientious about getting us to/from our destinations on time. I would highly recommend Motor City Party Bus!
On the day of our wedding, Motor City Party Bus did NOT arrive to pick up the wedding party. I had to call the owner, Timothy Siepierski, who had no idea of what was going on with his business and blamed his administrator Loretta for the no show. This was after meeting face to face with Timothy Siepierski to get a contract that I had to request several times. When we met with Timothy Siepierski, we wanted to look at the 32 passenger party bus he recommended for weddings. When we looked at that particular party bus, it was rusting out in several locations. It was a good thing that we looked at the bus in person and not on the website like Timothy Siepierski wanted us to. We requested another bus and Timothy Siepierski told us to call his administrator Loretta to see if the 22 passenger party bus was available for our wedding date. You would think the owner of a company would be able to handle this request, but we called Loretta and she confirmed the 22 passenger bus was available. After speaking to Loretta on the phone, I sent the company an email with the times and addresses of each location for the wedding day as she requested per our phone conversation. I called Loretta once I sent the email of times and locations and confirmed she received it. When Motor City Party Bus never arrived to pick up the wedding party, we had to call around to find ANOTHER limo company the day of the wedding to pick up the bride to get her to the church on TIME! After all this, we never received a phone call or apology for the inconvenience from Timothy Siepierski of Motor City Party Bus.
I am writing to inform everyone of the unfortunate experience we had with the company, Motor City Party Bus. This was a company we were referred to due to our original party bus company going out of business a few months before our wedding. Because we had trusted our former party bus company’s word, we transferred our deposit to Motor City Party Bus.
From the beginning, we unfortunately were not treated the best by the company’s employees. Tim Siepierski, the manager, took our deposit and asked what type of bus we wanted to book. We requested to see a couple of the 20+ passenger buses in person first in order to make our decision. Tim was not thrilled with this idea, but after a few requests, set up an appointment with us to meet at the Motor City Party Bus location in White Lake Township. Tim was fifteen minutes late to the appointment, and commented a couple of times how he was doing us a very big favor by meeting with us because he normally does not do this. Tim proceeded to tell us that the terribly rusted out back panels on the 30 passenger bus we were interested in should be replaced with new ones by the time our wedding date arrived. (At this point in time, we were four weeks away from the date, and he also mentioned they have been waiting for them to arrive from a backorder that was placed a while ago).
Also on the lot, we looked at a 22 passenger bus that seemed to be in pretty good condition. We asked if the 22 passenger bus would be available for use for our wedding date, but were told we had to get in touch with Loretta in the main office to find out. On our way home from White Lake, we spoke to Loretta, who had said the bus had another event that evening, but would be able to accommodate us during the day. Because of the backorder on the 30 passenger bus, we booked the 22 passenger bus with Loretta that day.
A week before the wedding, we called and e-mailed Loretta, giving her all of the times and addresses for the day’s events, and two days before the wedding, we called and confirmed all times and addresses with Loretta once more. The day of the wedding, the limo bus was to meet the guys at the hall at 1:30 p.m. to pick them up and transport them to the church. At 1:45 p.m., there was still no sign of the limo, and no call from the company to say that anything was wrong. My fiancé had to call Tim, the limo company manager we dealt with previously, to get an explanation. Tim said that their office administrator, Loretta, was out of the office doing promotions that day, and did not communicate that there was an event that day.
This lack of professionalism led to the guys having to drive themselves to the church, and the girls stranded without a ride as well. Because of Motor City Party Bus, I arrived to my ceremony only ten minutes before it started, and completely upset. It was horrible to be left stranded on one of the most important days of my life, especially when I took the proper steps to ensure all was taken care of beforehand. What made it even more disappointing was that we never got an apology from the company for what had been done.
this company charges gratuity fees that do not in fact go to the driver as a tip they are kept by the owner. Not only are they rude they also have faulty equipment on the bus's we rented 3 for bachelor bachelorette and wedding. the driver on our wedding day refused to listen to the directions i told him and caused me to be 30 min late to my ceremony then rushed us because we only had an allotted amount of time so we missed out on precious picture time what a bummer dont use them!
These guys are awesome. It was really hard trying to find a reasonable price for wedding transportation but they were more than willing to accommodate competitive pricing. We rented the Black Party Bus that seated up to 20 people and our wedding party had a great time. My wife was more than happy with their service and so was I.
The driver was excellent in his service, in my opinion if you don’t notice the service means they are doing a great job. Thanks again for making my wife happy.
FYI they were there on time to pick up the Bridal Party at Greektown Hotel to take them to Hazel Park and then came back and picked the my groomsmen and I.
TERRIBLE! The party bus was over an HOUR LATE picking us up after our wedding. We had 20 people sitting outside the church in our gowns and tuxes in the baking heat (church was locked up) for well over an hour! An hour, on my wedding day! Meanwhile our photographer was waiting for us at our next stop to get photos taken….and I had to pay him during this hour that we sat and waited for the bus! This not only took time out of getting pictures taken, but the owner or manager I spoke with the first time I called had no idea why the driver was late, and didn’t feel the need to ask the driver (when he finally got a hold of him) how long he would be. The bus was scheduled to pick us up at 2:00 and at 2:45 the driver was still 25 miles away!!!!!! Someone definitely messed up! They did take $200 off the total, but that doesn’t make up for sitting outside in my wedding dress in the baking heat, paying my photographer an hour where he couldn’t take pictures, and missing out on the hour worth of pictures we could have taken! Horrible, just horrible!
We had a blast at our wedding!!! The driver was very fun and helpful. He also did whatever was possible to work with our photographer. Very clean vehicles and very updated. Couldn't have asked for more! Bonus: It came with a champagne toast for our whole wedding party!!!
