dance floor was grooving all night long, and their music even drew in people who aren't normally big dancers! We were getting rave reviews on the band all night long, and multiple guests told us that they wanted to see them perform live again and were trying to think of events that they could hire them for, haha. Even prior to the wedding day, all the planning and logistical things were handled really smoothly by the band; they were always super friendly and responsive, and they truly cared about considering our preferences and making sure it was a great experience for my partner and I. They also learned three new songs for our "special dances" (first dance, etc.), and they absolutely crushed those! They sounded incredible. Would absolutely recommend Motor City Soul for ANYONE! Don't think twice!

The band absolutely rocked. Had so many family and friends asking me how I found the band by the end of the night. The dance floor was rocking from start to finish across all age groups. They even skipped their second break to cram more music in, only taking a brief break for a large group picture which was easily done with the help of their sound tech, Shawn.
They are absolute pros, a great band with a great sound and very entertaining! Hire them!!!

Not only was Motor City Soul incredibly communicative, but they put on one hell of a show. We had EVERYONE on the dance floor-including my 88 year old grandma, who was moving and grooving the whole night.

how awesome they were for weeks after. They truly are amazing singers and musicians, and they absolutely nailed our three song choices for special dances. They kept guests out on the dance floor throughout the entire reception, and provided a liveliness with their stage presence that I just don't think a DJ would have been able to do. They also did a wonderful job MC'ing our grand entrance and toasts. They play such a wide range of music that they're able to get everyone dancing, and they even play great pre-recorded music between sets as well. They were a pleasure to work with, and I am so glad that we stumbled upon them when they played our friend’s wedding a couple years ago. ng day, so this group rolled with the punches and set up indoors. They kept everybody dancing and worked the crowd. I cannot recommend them enough! It was so special to have the first dances with them even doing a custom song for my Daddy Daughter Dance and special things like singing happy birthday to my sister. Our wedding was in East Lansing, so they do travel and again, you're getting amazing talent for the price of a photographer. Incredible! Go Motor City Soul! Thanks for playing at my wedding!

Not only were they extremely accommodating and professional, it's been over a year and we still have guests telling us that we had the most fun wedding they've ever been to and I attribute that 99.9% to MCS. This is the best wedding decision you'll make:)
