If I could give 100 stars, I would. Sidney, our event manager, was AMAZING! Anything we needed, she was happy to help with. The Soundboard was such a beautiful venue, and the team helped set it up and make it perfect. The visuals on the big screen during our dance were an awesome surprise. So accommodating. The hotel staff were so nice and ready to jump at anything we needed to make our day special. We were so happy with how everything turned out. Far exceeded our expectations!!!

Wow, this venue was absolutely stunning for my wedding reception. The view of the city, the club lighting for the dance floor, and the balcony for cocktail hour. The ambiance was wonderful and the food was delicious + the portions were generous. The all-inclusive package was worth the money and it was nice to have so many reception details taken care of by MotorCity. Being able to stay the night in the hotel was also awesome. The honeymoon suite was huge and luxurious. We also had a room block for guests so we were able to stay up all night and not worry about getting home. Sidney was absolutely amazing and accommodating throughout the whole wedding planning process. She went above and beyond answering my countless wedding questions and putting me at ease. She is a true gem. If you’re looking for a gorgeous and FUN venue, pick MCCH.

We got married here 09.13.24 I cannot rave enough about motorcity. We had 122 people in Amnesia, this beautiful, modern (formally a night club) venue on their 16th floor. Floor to ...

ceiling windows the entire wall with views of the city. The service was incredible. All of the staff were so kind and helpful. They treated us like royalty the whole weekend we were there. Sidney in sales was what sold us on choosing to have our wedding here. She was so warm and inviting, she was so helpful and responded quickly with any questions I could think of. She truly made this such an easy experience. The food was so good, people kept telling us how much they loved our spinach salad with goat cheese and raved about the cake we served. Our ceremony was on the 1st floor in a meeting room, that was so pretty we didn’t add decoration but we weren’t too worried about that because it was only about 15 minutes. Our cocktail hour was held on the loft overlooking our reception area. It was so easy and convenient to have everything located in the same building. We had so much fun all day for our wedding, I wish we could do it again and again!

We felt so looked after - not only in her and her staff helping us with any questions that came to mind, but also because of her proactivity in asking the questions that wouldn’t have come to mind, knowing the space, and being able to guide us whilst creatively tailoring an evening that felt unique and completely representative of us. The view from Amnesia (their old night club, now an event space) was absolutely breathtaking, especially at night, and we received so many compliments from our guests on how lovely the entire evening was. Everyone also spoke extremely highly of the entire staff at Motor City, from the valet attendants to the bartenders to the wait staff to housekeeping! We ended up with 120 guests total and it was a perfect amount for the space, although really we could have fit a couple more tables in with plenty of room! Also, as it used to be a night club, the entire space is already wired for sound and lighting and Motor City provides employees to oversee them both the night of the wedding! We looked around at many potential venues throughout the metro Detroit area, but I am very happy we chose Motor City! As far as the prices, you will 100% get the most bang for your buck compared to the other venues in Detroit! :)

edding room block bookings but the hotel was able to accommodate the changes with ease. The staff was very friendly and rooms were very clean. Such a great experience overall! We were very excited for the unique wedding reception location on the 16th floor of MotorCity. The space was remarkable with the upstairs area being a great location for cocktail hour. Breathtaking view! We opted for the sushi bar that was absolutely stunning and the guests loved the appetizers. The chef/pastry chef was able to accomodate our entree feedback with dietary restrictions perfectly. The food on the day of was exactly what we envisioned. Our wedding party suite was in the event space right next to the Amnesia room and was filled with alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and appetizers. The event staff were so friendly and made the experience smooth. The whole process of booking and coordinating was made very easy with the help of Kristen. She was so accommodating and listened to all of our requests. Made the day of the event so stress free and was able to navigate any last minute changes with no questions asked! She was extremely kind/generous to us and all of the wedding party. Happy to help in any way she could to make our day unforgettable. Thank you Kristen! Highly recommend the location and worth every penny.

r rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception, as well as a place for our guests to stay overnight. Second, because of the stunning 16th floor views of the city. We weren't looking for a traditional ballroom, and their Amnesia space delivered! Our event manager, Kristen Portia, was an absolute dream to work with. She nailed every single detail, and was such a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this venue!
