My husband and I found Mount Hope on WeddingWire, and were ecstatic to find out it was the location of the PA Renaissance Faire that we had attended in previous years. After finding out that our date was available, we both knew that this venue was meant for us. The staff at MH is simply wonderful. Brenna was with us every step of the way, and went out of her way to make sure our needs and desires were met. We chose to do both our ceremony and reception dinner in the upstairs loft area, and it was absolutely beautiful. Another thing that sets Mount Hope apart is their onsite catering. We were able to create an entirely custom menu that fit our budget and tastes, and the quality and customization of the food was simply amazing. Not to mention, the liquors, wines, beers, and ciders that are all made on property! Lastly, the aesthetics of the location are simply gorgeous. The interior of the barn gave the perfect inviting feel we wanted, while the grounds provided amazing and unique photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. I cannot sing the praises of Mount Hope loudly enough, our wedding was everything we hoped it could be and more.

This venue was everything we hoped it would be. Our guests LOVED the barn! Nicole, Brenna and the whole Mount Hope team were great to work with. They helped make sure we didn't have to worry about anything when the big day finally came. My wife and I had a very different menu than what they offer in their pre-made packages. Regardless, they went above and beyond in serving everything we wanted for our guests. The guests loved the food! The Mount Hope team made sure the bride and I were well fed between talking to all the guests, and that we had enough alone time in between all the happenings. Leading up to the big day, the team was great with planning, providing us with vendor recommendations, and keeping the planning stress-free. We loved how everything would turn out, and wouldn't change a thing.

The wedding venue was perfect—beautiful outside ceremony location against the mansion wall. The reception was in a great location as well where people could freely move from the barn to the patio area where there was a cornhole and a fire pit so many options for the guests which we loved about this location. Nicole and Brenna the venue coordinators were very helpful and flexible in helping us plan our wedding how we envisioned it to be.

I got married at Mount Hope Estate & Winery in November of last year and it was truly the most magical day! From the very beginning Nicole and Brenna were absolutely wonderful, so incredibly helpful, accommodating, calming, patient and just so lovely. They made the planning process a breeze, and coming from wedding and event planning myself, that is truly saying something! We truly had the most magical day/night! It was everything we could have hoped for and more. Every one of our guests raved about the food, the venue and the overall fun of the whole day! The staff was so incredible and accommodating throughout our whole big day. It is a unique venue with so much charm! I could not recommend Mount Hope Estate & Winery more for your wedding day!

Nicole, Brenna, and the whole Mount Hope team were absolutely amazing! From the very first day we met, we had nothing but a wonderful experience. They were always responsive to all of our questions and made sure our day was perfect. We can not say enough amazing things about Mount Hope!

Nicole, Brenna, and the whole Mount Hope team were absolutely incredible. They were so helpful and responsive during our long 2 and a half year timeline from booking to the day of the wedding. We always felt like we were a priority and they did their best to accommodate all of our requests. The day of the wedding was nothing less than perfect. 15/10 would recommend!

Working with Nicole, Brenna, and everyone else at Mount Hope was easy once we booked our Barn & Barrel wedding! They answered every question, worked with us throughout planning, and had recommendations for vendors - which we really appreciated as an out-of-town couple. The venue is beautiful; as two long-time rennies, it was so much fun to take pictures on the Faire grounds. Loved that alcohol and food are all taken care of in-house - less work for us! The chef created a wonderful dinner with a unique hors d'oeuvres display that was perfectly US. Our guests are still talking about the ceremony and reception. Can we do it again?? If you tour the place and love it, do not hesitate!

Mount Hope was our dream venue we didn't know about. The backdrop of the renaissance faire, the multiple areas to have a ceremony, the honestly amazing staff (including a chef who takes pride in every meal being restaurant quality and a bartender who likes a challenge), and the availability of an afterparty area was a dream. Each member of the staff made sure that every possible detail was accounted for to make sure our day went off without a hitch. Our guests continuously spoke of the awe inspiring views and scenes during our ceremony and reception. The food was even better than our tasting and the head chef took special steps for our evening. The availability of an afterparty was a perfect opportunity to have an intimate time with our guests after the chaos.

Fantastic and beautiful. They event managers were very responsive and patient. They even added some finishing touches to my decorations - displays of fresh persimmons ( it was a medieval feast theme wedding). The chef made us a waffle tower instead of a cake. This is a very capable team! It was a beautiful day.

We are Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire goers and Mount Hope Estate & Winery was the only venue we wanted on our list when planning a wedding. Let me tell you, we chose right! Nicole, Brenna, and the entire Mount Hope team were all so nice from the open house and every day thereafter. I cannot thank everyone enough for all their assistance with tours, photoshoots, setting up/tearing down, the AMAZING food and drinks, and all around beautiful venue. Whenever someone asks for recommendations when it comes to venues, I will always recommend Mount Hope!

Mount Hope was honestly the perfect venue for our big day. It is the only place we toured and once we saw it both of us were in love and we couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. The venue itself is the perfect mix of a little rustic, a little modern, and all charming. There are so many options for ceremony locations, photo opportunities, and small details that it was hard to choose! The best part of getting married at Mount Hope is how customizable every single part of our day was! From the menu items to linen colors Mount Hope truly wanted to make this day about us and our vision. We had a mashed potato bar, cheesecake, and wings for a late night food! Nicole and Brenna were an absolute dream team and made the planning process so easy, they answered all of my questions in a timely manner and with the utmost professionalism. I am so thankful that we picked Mount Hope for our venue, it allowed us to have our dream wedding!

My husband and I absolutely had a blast at our wedding, and Mount Hope truly made it one of a kind. We decided to go with the King and Queen package that the venue offers and are so glad that we did. The Renaissance Faire is our favorite place and being able to get married there and attend the faire with our guests was a dream come true. The entertainment they provided was amazing and our guests LOVED every moment of it. We wanted a non-traditional wedding, and if that is something that you are looking for than I would say look no further! If you are looking for something more traditional, they have something here for you too. The people who work here are absolutely wonderful! The extras they provide truly help to make the day more magical and were worth every penny. My wedding was everything I could have hoped for and more and I cannot thank them enough for helping make that a reality.

This venue was wonderful from start to finish. We are typically very cautious people, but we knew we wanted to book after our first visit and we never regretted it. The planning staff was so helpful and great to work with. We booked about eighteen months out and we go these sweet little gifts from the team as we got closer to our wedding date, which were always a lovely surprise. The day of the space was beautiful and looked perfect! We were even able to take some photos on the fairgrounds. On top of everything else the chef onsite was phenomenal and worked with us to create a unique and exciting menu that had all our guest talking. The wait staff was lovely and accommodating and the bartender was awesome. We couldn't ask for much more.

This venue did a fantastic job at Not only giving us a fantastic location but helping us plan every detail into making the wedding perfect and run together smoothly. We did the microwedding package but added on some time. Because of Mount Hopes amazing theme, We took amazing photos on site for us to cherish for years to come. The chef cooked us an amazing meal of our choosing. They also had made us a tray of delicious Italian cookies that my guests and I were obsessed with! The wines we chose during our tasting are now my favorites of all time! Mount hope helped us decorate and rearrange which made everything much easier for us. Brenna did a fantastic job with literally everything! I couldn’t have imagined my day being any better than it was. Thank you so much everyone! So so very much!

Right after we toured Mount Hope, we knew that this was the venue where we were going to get married at. Nicole gave us a great tour of the property and made a great overall first impression. Nicole and Brenna were very helpful throughout the wedding planning process and answered any questions that we had very promptly. They were always polite and welcomed our questions. Nicole and Brenna cared that both of us had an amazing wedding day from start to finish and that it ran smoothly. The food was delicious and the house-crafted beverages were very good as well. The menu was very customizable and we got a lot of good reviews from our wedding guests about the food and drinks. The Mount Hope team was very thoughtful, and any bride and groom are going to have an awesome experience with this team. We look forward to visiting Mount Hope for a tasting soon!

Incredible experience! Nicole and Brenna kept us informed of how all of our ideas would be incorporated into the day! They even created a special menu just for our wedding :) We had less-than-perfect weather on our wedding day and the staff adjusted everything perfectly. Omg, we just got married here last night and it was our Dream Wedding come True!! They were amazing with us from the very beginning; communication was great, professional, and so easy with them. ALL our guests LOVED the food, the chef was SO AMAZING, the drinks were phenomenal, and the atmosphere/ venue was GORGEOUS! We are so happy to have chosen Mount Hope Estate & Winery at Manheim PA as our wedding venue. We loved them so much and will recommend you get married here- you won't regret it. Best venue ever. The staff is super supportive and helps to make the day what you want. Very inclusive and relaxed environment. Made sure everything went well without any issues. Food is delicious. Property is gorgeous- barely needed any decorations just because the space is already beautiful.

The event was beautiful and I'm so glad we chose Mount Hope. Everyone kept talking about how beautiful the space was and how unique it was. Everyone loved the food (which was big for us!) and the servers and bartenders were wonderful -- so personable and fun, especially considering they were stuck spending New Year's Eve working. I wish I could do it all over! We would choose Mount Hope again and again.

The team at Mount Hope Estate & Winery really understand what a wedding is all about- the couple! All of our needs and questions were met with clear and honest answers. The attention to detail for menu planning as well as the set up and execution of the day went without a hitch and made us feel so special! Working with the Mount Hope team from the time of our first visit there to our wedding day was amazing! HIGHLY recommend this wedding venue. The beverage package is amazing,... they make all of their wines, ciders, and beer so it's like an "all you can drink" tasting. They let us take pictures around the renaissance faire grounds which made for the most amazing photos. Truly a magical experience.

We selected Mount Hope as the venue for our wedding and couldn't be happier with the decision. From the first meeting to the end of the reception they were an absolute pleasure to work with- super responsive and accommodating in all of our requests, even weird ones like asking them to make oatmeal cream pies for dessert in lieu of a more traditional wedding dessert. They were also super thoughtful in several ways, such as sending the bride a bouquet of flowers 30 days before the wedding as well as making sure we (the bride and groom) had a tray of food and drinks to enjoy from cocktail hour after the ceremony while we were busy taking pictures. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with an excellent team to walk you through the whole process!

Mount Hope made our wedding absolutely everything we could of asked for and more! Nicole and Brenna were so helpful and kind through the whole process! They made what could have been such a stressful event, run so smooth and I can’t thank them enough! Mount Hope has alway held such a special place in my heart so to be able to celebrate our special day there, means so much to me! The venue is classic and open and so casual. It was perfect for our inmate family wedding! I can not suggest this place enough, truly, if you want to feel like your wedding is in good hands, this is the place!

We had a small, intimate microwedding at Mt. Hope's distillery. The venue exceeded all our expectations! The staff was incredibly professional and friendly and Brenna, Nicole, and the staff members made sure all our needs were taken care of prior to and during the event. They responded to all our inquiries in a timely manner and made sure the venue was personalized to our preferences. No wedding horror stories here; the day of, we had absolutely no hiccups! All our guests could not stop raving about the venue and how the setup was perfect for an intimate and happy setting. Thanks so much, Mt. Hope!

We had an amazing time working with Mount Hope! They truly treated us like their friend and were unbelievable accommodating. Yes the venue was gorgeous, yes the food and drinks were delicious, yes we would use the space as we see fit, and yes we could have our dog there. What else could we have asked for?

We booked the Barn at Mount Hope for our wedding in March of 2019. Little did we know it would be rescheduled twice due to Covid-19. Nicole worked with us through everything from start to finish, twice and even sent us small tokens to let us know we weren't forgotten over the two years. We really appreciated her attention to detail and her willingness to help us in this crazy hectic time. Nicole and her team were amazing from 2019 to 2021 and we couldn't have been happier with the event. The wine was delicious and we made new cider fans out of some family members with that amazing blueberry cider. The Barn was a gorgeous venue for the wedding we had and the Renaissance Fair backdrop only added to the feeling. It was a truly magical evening for us

Mount Hope is an excellent wedding venue! Their staff exceeded expectations in every aspect of the event. The Mount Hope team walked me through the event and had wonderful flexibility and options. If you are looking for a classy event location this winery takes the cake. A big thank you to all the staff members especially Nicole the Group Sales Manager and their star event coordinator Patty. They were imperative to the success of the wedding event. it was better than I could have ever imagined!

This venue is absolutely beautiful inside and out!! It is a such an awesome space. It's close to the Renaissance Faire, but yet far enough away to feel like a separate place. Nicole was awesome and such a pleasure to work with. She was super flexible and helpful and answered all of our questions. She really wanted to make sure our wedding day was perfect and everything we wanted. We got so many compliments from our guests about how awesome and beautiful our venue was and how good the food and drinks were too! Our guests enjoyed our day here just as much as we did. I would highly recommend Mt Hope Estate & Winery to any couple looking for an incredible wedding venue!

Mt. Hope Winery made our dream wedding come true. Due to COVID 19, at the last minute we had to change our original venue. The Mt. Hope staff were able to fully accommodate and help the transition to their venue. We could not have asked for a nicer staff to help us prepare for our wedding day. We would recommend this venue to anyone for any reason. We are planning on using this venue again for future events.

I had my wedding here 9/4/2020. They were very professional and flexible. We had to postpone from our original date, 5/29/2020, this process was very smooth and simple. The venue is gorgeous and there are a million unique places to take pictures. We also chose to have Divine Swine cater our wedding, the food was delicious and not you typical boring wedding food. We were also able to select the types of beer, wine, and cider we wanted to have. They made sure all of our favorites were available. Nicole and Michael went above and beyond helping us with anything and everything.

We are so glad we had our wedding at Mount Hope. Taniel and Nicole are so friendly and accommodating that my husband and I felt like extended family. We got married in the mansion and everything was perfect. We were a little nervous about the different rooms but everything worked out well and everyone had a great time. The best part about the mansion is that half of the décor is already done for you. Each room has so much character that we didn’t want to take away from it so we didn't need to add much decor, which saves a lot of money. We even used the decor they had on each of the fireplaces, which worked out perfectly with our colors. The Billiard Room where the bar is was a big hit, and it’s at the perfect location because it’s right next to the Ballroom where the dancing is had. Guests can get drinks and still see/know what’s going on if they decide to hang out by the bar. We opted for the beer, wine, cider, and soda package and everyone enjoyed their beverages. I kept seeing them go back for more so you know Mount Hope has some great stuff. The best part was the plastic souvenir cups with lids for wine and cider. No risk of broken glass or spills and our guests got to take them home as a nice favor. Just be warned there is no A/C. The weather turned out to be perfect for our wedding with it being an actual cool fall day and an even cooler evening. I wouldn't let that deter you though because it's such a beautiful building and it's old so it's to be expected. Mount Hope was everything we hoped for. They have good wine amongst other beverages, a beautiful venue, great people to work with, and on the plus side, if you don't want the festivities to end, just go to the Renaissance Faire the next day. Taniel & Nicole are more than happy to accommodate you and your guests to make them feel welcomed. There's a hotel right across the street and down the road so there's no reason you can't spend an extra day there if you aren't local. I will say, I miss being in touch with the girls because we got to spend so much time with them via email or in person. If only we could get married all over again...
