From start to finish, our experience with a venue called Mount Vernon Canyon Club was nothing short of extraordinary. I am still in awe of how seamlessly everything came together and how deeply impressed I was—not just by the stunning venue, but by the dedicated team behind the scenes who made our daughter’s wedding feel like the most important and grand event of the entire year. I’m sure this venue hosts weddings every weekend, but the way we were treated made it feel like this was the only wedding that mattered. Every detail, every interaction, every accommodation—they all carried a personal, thoughtful touch that made us feel genuinely valued and cared for. A huge part of that incredible experience was thanks to Barbara Aguilar, our wedding coordinator. Barbara was truly exceptional—an absolute gem. I had so many questions throughout the planning process, particularly about the décor, layout, and timing. I reached out multiple times, often with small, specific inquiries, and each and every time, Barbara responded with kindness, efficiency, and patience. She never made me feel like a bother. In fact, she made me feel like my ideas and concerns were welcome and important. That level of care and attentiveness is extremely rare, and I appreciated it more than I can say. Barbara consistently made herself available—through calls, emails, and scheduling time for me when I needed clarity or reassurance. She made what can be a stressful process feel manageable and even enjoyable. I truly felt like I had a partner in the planning, someone who genuinely cared about getting it just right for our family. And then came the big day... and wow. I cannot overstate how absolutely breathtaking the venue is. The views of Mount Vernon are simply spectacular. The natural beauty, combined with the elegance of the indoor spaces, created an atmosphere that was warm, romantic, and unforgettable. Every corner was picture-perfect, and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful everything looked. But what really left a lasting impression was the exceptional service. Every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. One moment that stands out: I had brought a small figurine of a dog for the cake, and I wanted to add a little white "nose" made of frosting to complete the look. One of the waiters—whose name, unfortunately, I didn’t catch—went out of his way to find some frosting and brought it to us so we could complete the figurine. It was a small detail, but such a thoughtful, above-and-beyond gesture that meant the world to me. That’s the kind of personalized attention you don’t expect, but it makes all the difference. Then there was the food. I was blown away by how good it was—and I wasn’t the only one. I received at least four unsolicited compliments from guests raving about the meal. The salad was fresh and flavorful, the bread was warm and just-baked, and every course was delicious. You could absolutely taste the quality and care in the preparation. The culinary experience was as impressive as the views and the service. All in all, Mount Vernon Canyon Club exceeded every expectation. It wasn’t just a venue—it was a team, an experience, a memory we’ll hold close for the rest of our lives. I truly wish we had another wedding in the family just so we could return and relive it all over again. That’s how special it was. If you’re even considering hosting your event here, stop searching. Mt. Vernon held our reception. We booked both floors for the evening - mocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Their team was outstanding! They took care of every detail flawlessly (we had a lot of them). All our guests loved the food and the views. There was plenty of room to have lots of fun activities. Highly recommend if you want a smooth event! Special shout out to Nicole for directing the day.

Mt Vernon Canyon Club made our wedding day unforgettable - one of the best days of our lives. Barbara and her team are passionate, professional, kind, hard-working, and a joy to work with. By the end of the wedding, they had become family - even joining us on the dance floor for the final song of the night (to the cheers of the entire wedding party.) Honestly, we would have been lost without their guidance, support, and constant advice and recommendations. From helping us find the perfect vendors and planning our decor, to thinking through food options, leading the rehearsal, checking in constantly to ensure everything was ready. The venue itself is magnificent, with stunning views of the foothills and the lights of Denver at night sparkling thousands of feet below you. They provided a space Friday for our rehearsal dinner as well - and the food cannot be beat. I cannot tell you how many people came up to us throughout the night to gush about the dinner - it was literally the best wedding food we've ever had. The bartenders were exceptional, the cocktails delicious and perfect strength. Great wine options, and amazing relationships with a nearby bakery to arrange desserts. We wanted our wedding to be special, a day that we would NEVER forget. Mount Vernon not only met that goal, they blew it out of the water. They've earned our life-long support, and we cannot wait to go back for dinner on our 1-year anniversary to say hello and think back to that wonderful night. At first, I was a little nervous because I was trying to keep our budget on the low end. But when we toured this venue we KNEW in our hearts we had to have it! And wow, was it worth every single penny!!! It's been over two months since our wedding and we STILL have friends raving about the venue: the views, the food, the ambiance. It was the perfect Colorado venue, the mountain views were just breathtaking. The food was seriously delicious, I heard compliments about it all night. Some guests even said it was the best wedding food they've ever had (completely unprompted)! Finally: NICOLE was an absolute LIFESAVER during the entire process! She kept us updated on the timeline, seating chart, and really took care of me and my husband during our wedding. Every single detail was meticulously cared for, and you can see that Nicole really and truly just wants you to enjoy your special day. I am a very anxious person and she put all my worries at east. I can't believe how lucky we got with her, I can't thank her enough!

Out of the many wedding venues we saw in the Denver/Front Range and Estes Park area, this was by far our favorite. The views are stunning and even though we live in Colorado, it was a destination wedding for many, so we thought it was the perfect venue to showcase the mountains to everyone who was coming in from out of town. Barbara was with us every step of the way and she was amazing, patiently answering our hundreds of questions and going above and beyond to make sure our day was as perfect as could be. The food was also spectacular and our guests were raving to us about it. We loved getting to speak to the chef at the tasting and were thrilled that the staff was able to accommodate a little Brazilian flair by adding pão de queijo to the menu and caipirinhas as the signature cocktail! There was NOTHING Mount Vernon could have done to make our wedding any better. The only thing I would have changed (that the staff had no control over) was we had unexpectedly cold and cloudy weather for the ceremony, but it cleared up by the reception--and everyone says a little rain is good luck for your marriage anyway. :)

We had such an amazing experience with Mount Vernon. Nicole was so great to work with and she made sure all our questions were answered in a timely manner, every detail was figured out, and was so kind and generous with her time. Mount Vernon has so much space and the surrounding mountains created such a beautiful backdrop for photos, especially with the snow we had on our wedding day. The food was amazing and we heard nothing but good reviews from our guests. One more thing I'd like to say about Nicole; when my husband and I arrived to MVCC after our ceremony (held at a different location), Nicole was there to greet us and brought us to a separate room so I could bustle my dress. She also brought us hot chocolate, drinks, and hors d'oeuvres. She was outstanding the whole night. After the wedding, when we were sorting through all our things, we couldn't find our special champagne flutes we used at the reception. We contacted Nicole and she was able to track them down for us. All around such an amazing experience with MVCC and I would highly recommend.

Barbara was AMAZING! Not only did she help coordinate everything, she made sure that my bride and I were comfortable and content. Waited on hand an foot practically. The staff was engaging and everything was perfect. For a small wedding it was perfect. I would highly recommend to anyone.

My husband Eric and I hosted our dream destination wedding at Mount Vernon Canyon Club on August 25, 2024. We had the great privilege of working with Barbara Aguilar from the moment we sent in our first inquiry regarding the venue, to the moment our special day ended. Barbara is not only an exceptional service provider, but truly a genuine, caring person. We coordinated everything with her via email and phone as we are based in Boston, MA. She was responsive, kind, and provided us with thoughtful, effective advice the whole way through. On the day of our wedding, everything ran smoothly — it was truly the perfect day. The views at MVCC are breathtaking — sharing our vows on the deck overlooking the foothills surrounded by our closest family and friends is a core memory. From the cocktail hour to the reception, the staff supporting Barbara were attentive and kind to us and all of our guests. The quality of the food and drinks exceeded our expectations. We were able to bring our design vision to life as the venue gave us full autonomy on our vendor selections. We did not have to worry about anything, and were able to truly stay immersed, soaking in every moment. Special thank you to Barbara for her commitment to us. We are forever grateful to have chosen MVCC as our wedding venue, and will cherish the memories that we made there for the rest of our lifetime.

My husband and I recently had the honor of celebrating our long-awaited destination wedding in Golden, Colorado (all the way from upstate NY) with 50 of our closest friends & family (all traveling from the east coast). Their team worked with me remotely to pull together exactly what I wanted & more! I was able to share my vision with them and they provided me a full list of option and price points to meet all of our different requests - it truly took so much stress and time away to know that our big day was in excellent hands.

Our wedding was absolutely stunning!! Nicole Truax at the venue was a superstar, keeping everyone on time and making sure we had everything we needed at all times. There was such good cross-vendor communication to make our day as perfect as possible. Nicole helped me plan for about a year and it was so much better than I could have ever imagined! I would highly highly recommend MVCC for both a stunning backdrop for your wedding and an incredibly generous, professional and kind staff.

Mount Vernon Canyon Club was fabulous!! We had our wedding in April, on the day of it snowed and I chose to continue with having the ceremony outside. The views did not disappoint. Our guests were all from out of state and could not stop talking about it! Also they raved about our food for the reception!! We worked with Barbara and the whole process was so easy, I had so much trust in the venue coordinators. It was the greatest experience ever and a memory my family and friends will cherish forever.
