At times when we were overwhelmed with people bombarding is during picture time, he was awesome at going into “director” mode and getting things back to where they needed to be. While I was getting dressed, Josh could tell I was getting overwhelmed and lightened the mood with jokes and even played my favorite music on his phone. While being very friendly and outgoing, he mainted being professional. It was a great balance and made it fun! I would 100% recommmend this company. im to see if he was available. Mountain and Mood was the first thing we booked before we even had our date and venue locked down. The one thing we didn't want was cheesy generic wedding photos and Brian made sure our pictures were emotional and special. We did an engagement shoot with him around Lookout Mountain and when we got our sneak peek back a day later I knew we had made the right decision. Throughout the whole process, he was communicative and easy to talk to and although he is a very busy photographer with weddings every weekend you never feel like just another client. The day of the wedding, when he and his 2nd shooter arrived it felt like an old friend joining the party to take some photos. His 2nd shooter (I can't remember his name) were so funny and easy going and made everyone really comfortable. My favorite is that they get you to kick your heels off and get off the beaten path off a little to get some amazing shots. Totally worth it! We got our sneak peek pictures a few days later and both started crying because they were that good... still not sure how he gets everything done so quickly and perfectly. We're already throwing around the idea of a vow renewal (too soon?) or some kind of shoot with one of his amazing passport locations. Thanks so much, Brian!

ur day. Brian has a remarkable ability to capture not only the physical beauty of what he photographs, but (as the name implies) he captures the mood in an uncanny way. Our photos look PHENOMENAL! His attention to lighting, his ability to guide and "art direct" our admittedly awkward posing, and the careful editing of his shots, have culminated in a stunning collection of priceless memories from our special day. Brian also was able to provide a fantastic second shooter who complimented his style wonderfully and was always attentive of the little details like the positioning of my dress and smoothing out wrinkles in it before getting the perfect shot. They were both an absolute joy to have around and I don't think they missed a moment! Thank you Brian!! rest-y, things of the Wedding World. We couldn't help but feel like that was the way we needed to go, even though it wasn't the direction we wanted to go. One thing we knew for certain, and stuck to our guns about, is that we wanted to prioritize our wedding photos. Weddings are temporary (the clothes get hung up or tucked away, the bouquet dies, the food gets eaten), but your photos are essentially eternal. Between his talent, his professionalism, and his drive, there was no question that we wanted Brian to be our wedding photographer. We were impressed by his work, and by him instantly. Because we had initially planned a large, Colorado wedding, we decided to take a journey to Iceland, with Brian, to have our engagement portraits done. We wanted to have one special thing to ourselves, because we felt so consumed by this big wedding that we didn't really want. Iceland was amazing (duh), but our journey felt once in a lifetime, and to have professional pictures taken as we explored this beautiful place was a huge bonus. Our time in Iceland, plus our time with Brian, as well as the resulting photos, inspired us to find our voice, and we scrapped our plans for the large, Colorado wedding, and decided to have an intimate destination wedding. Our grandmothers both pretty much said Hawaii was the only place they would travel to, so Hawaii it was! We lost out on some deposits, and disappointed some loved ones, but we do not regret our decision. Looking at our wedding photos, we have come to appreciate (even more) how truly special, and how true to ourselves our wedding was. Our day was fun, casual, imperfect, but perfect, and equally as important, we can see that in each and every photo. Looking at our photos, we are not just transported to our wedding day, but we can feel everything about that day, and this is absolutely amazing. You see, the best thing about Brian, and the heart of his talent is, how he prioritizes the couple he is working with. He is passionate about capturing the love, joy, and the very essence of his couples in a genuine way. His work isn't about the engagement, or the wedding, nor is it overly about the artistry, it's about the raw emotions that exist between two people. Thank you so much Brian, for everything, and we wish you all of the best of things as you grow Mountain and Mood. We are looking forward to sharing future milestones with you throughout our marriage, and the adventures that will come along with marking those milestones.
