ot express how much we loved every second of our experience with Mountain Branch; we felt like and continue to feel like family.
Christine, the wedding extraordinaire at Mountain Branch, ensured everything was absolutely perfect. From our first meeting with Christine, I felt completely supported and at ease about wedding planning. Her professionalism, responsiveness, care, and kindness at our first meeting was a huge factor in choosing this venue, I could not imagine our wedding day without her. Throughout the entire year of planning, Christine was so supportive and helped answer any questions we had along the way. On the day of our wedding, Christine was on top of everything, the only thing I needed to worry about was enjoying the day. She is truly the best in class.
Not only is the venue stunning (seriously go visit), but each and every staff member we interacted with treated us with top notch service every time we visited. This venue has everything! The food is incredible; I am still getting compliments from guests on our food several months after the wedding. There are so many things included in the wedding package; the value is unmatched by other venues. For a less stressful wedding planning, this venue included catering, bar services, table linens, lighting, staffing, set-up, teardown, day of staffing management, a ceremony arch, and the cake provided by a fantastic local bakery. You truly get so much all in one place, and I loved the ease of planning with Mountain Branch.
Our wedding exceeded our dreams at Mountain Branch, we could not have been happier. I do not think I can truly express how much I recommend this venue, it was the most fantastic experience! My husband and I look forward to revisiting Mountain Branch’s restaurant, bar, and other events often, they made us feel like family.

Our wedding was May 21st, 2022 - the hottest day of the year, but the entire staff did everything and then some to make sure we were all comfortable and having the best time. All of the staff was friendly and professional, and I truly felt like they were all constantly checking to make sure we were happy and always had a drink in our hand. Our guests still continue to rave about how delicious the food was as well!

ugh to how patient, understanding and flexible Carol and Christine were during our whole wedding planning process. It took so much stress off. As for Mountain Branch, the venue is beautiful, food was great, and it is affordable. An added bonus for us was that venue, alcohol, cake and food were all included, so not having to find and hire separate vendors for each of those things.

e very flexible with changing the date (we had to postpone a year because of COVID). But the execution of the event was as if they have never hosted an event before .
Our contract included mimosas to be there for when guests arrived. 30 minutes after the event started we asked where the mimosas were and they told us that we had to pay for them. We told them we did pay for them and they told us we had to speak to a manager (who they never went to get). So my mom had to go over and pull up the contract on her phone.
They also didn't have water. Who doesn't have water? They told us we could have Sprite or tonic water instead until we argued with them that they need to go get a big pitcher of water.
We had about 50 guests there and they brought out about 10 tea sandwiches per platter. So needless to say, they were gone almost as soon as they came out and no one was there to refill the sandwich platter. So the buffet was sparse and empty until I talked to two servers and the manager telling them they needed to constantly refill the buffet. Presentation was disappointing.
They also went around and took everyone's knives mid meal because they had run out of knives (I think there was also a wedding and another event that day). Clearly they were not prepared to host our event and it was embarrassing.
When I called the event manager a few days later to discuss, all she had was excuses. She sent my Mom a gift card to make the situation right instead of comping a percentage of the bill. Why would we want to go back there?
I would definitely reconsider if you are planning to have an event at Mountain Branch. Not worth it at all in my opinion.

Secondly - Nick. My wife and I were so impressed by him at our wedding. He always made sure we had what we needed (drink in my hand) and made a huge difference in our event. Give that man a raise! We were being pulled a thousand different directions throughout the event, but we just could not help but notice his work ethic. The next day he also made sure we got everything we left behind (which was literally everything).
As far as the venue is concerned, it is perfectly positioned on higher ground, looking over a beautiful golf course and the surrounding county. It's a perfect mix of outdoor and indoor space, which allowed for a enjoyable event for ourselves and our guests.

If I sent a question on a Saturday or Sunday night I would get an immediate respond, which made me feel much better when it came closer to the date. event was certainly not LeeAnn's first; she knew where people needed to be and at what time and with what timeline works best to have a smooth event. She continuously and without hesitation answered all of my random and crazy questions over email.
I was a little worried about how the reception details and decorations were going to be set up, because I'm super picky and a perfectionist, but LeeAnn and her staff set everything up PERFECTLY to my written directions (which were super detailed and probably annoying, lol).

Another thing our guests raved about was the food. There was even an event caterer/manager present who said it was the best wedding food he'd ever had! We have to agree. It was also really nice that they served us, the bride and groom, first so that we could walk around after we ate to greet everyone while they were seated.
Carol McCarthy is a joy to work with. She is detail-oriented and knows the venue and planning weddings like the back of her hand. She is also excited to be working with you (even though she works with hundreds of brides and grooms) and sincerely wants to make your day as special as possible.

. She was so involved that she even shared her wedding anniversary with us to make sure our night went as planned. The rest of her team were so helpful, the day before, during and after the wedding as we dropped off/picked up a lot of decorations, favors, etc. Our rehearsal dinner was also at Mountain Branch, which was also memorable. It was raining the morning and early afternoon of our wedding, so the staff had set everything up for the ceremony to be inside the tent. The rain stopped about 30 minutes before the ceremony started, so we asked if we could have it outside. With no questions asked, the team rearranged everything to be outside as we originally hoped it would be. Our family and friends were amazed with their quickness, and not to mention the rest of the service, how great the food was, and so forth. This just goes to show the kind of customer service they consistently delivered throughout our entire experience. We had the wedding of our dreams, and our guests said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. I would highly recommend Mountain Branch to everyone considering this venue. where we had our wedding ceremony and reception. My husband and I looked at a lot of wedding venues, but we didn't see anything that we LOVE until we saw this place. On our first meeting, Carol greeted us with a big smile and a big hug. We fell in Love with the place and with her! What do we love about her? She was welcoming and very easy to talk to, she listened and took her time answering every questions we had, she promptly responded to all my emails, and she was on top of everything (seriously!). She asked for my vendors contact information so she can call and follow-up if there are any issues the day of the wedding. On our wedding day, the ceremony and reception area looked absolutely beautiful! A lot of our guests commented on the elegance of the venue and how fantastic the food was. There was so much room to dance around. In fact, a lot of our guests were up dancing! They had a Blast! It was the best night of our lives and we are still getting compliments on how beautiful everything was. Of course, we owe it all to Carol, her assistant, Ashley, and the rest of the staff. I would highly recommend this venue to any other bride however, BEWARE OF THE FLOURESENT “NO SMOKING” SIGNS EVERYWHERE IN THE TENT!!!!! They became quite the eye sore in my very expensive wedding video and pictures. Luckily, my photographer (Jessica Eastburn, who was amazing) was able to edit the majority out but it was a lot of man-hours and not all photos could be saved. There was nothing I could do for video so unfortunately I have to live with that. I understand there is code and requirements for establishments, but right above the sweet heart table? Come on Mountain Branch, you have to do a little better than that!!!! Of course, when I questioned them afterward they really didn’t want anything to do with me; they had my parent’s money at that point and could really care less. I was worried that since we were serving 155 guests, the steaks were going to be overcooked, and not what I expected. Carol and Sherry made sure the day ran smoothly. Everything was done on time. We never felt rushed and all of the staff executed everything without us having to worry about a single thing. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a few guests tell us that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. oup everything together. All you have to do is choose what you want. Like going to the cake tasting since the cake is included in the total. I had a 5 hour premium open bar reception. Our food was amazing too. I had compliments on everything. We did mini crab cakes, bruschetta, pork skewers and bacon wrapped scallops for cocktail hour and filet for dinner. Perfection!!! The cake was done by Yia Yias bakery and tasted as good as it looked. Carol McCarthy, our appointed planner, is a master of her craft. She had every last detail planned out to the minute. Down to beers in our hands when we needed them. She was very friendly and easy to discuss things with too. Overall A++ and I highly recommend!! No complaints.

t's not always easy to come up there, especially when a lot of vendors want to meet during the week. Kimberly was flexible about when we met for our tasting. The food was great. All of the apps and entrees were delicious. I was disappointed at the amount of hor deurves that were passed throughout cocktail hour. I even heard from a few guests that they barely got any. My mother of all people only got a few pieces of cheese (which she said she had to cut herself, there had been some slices in the beginning but then no staff came back to cut the rest of the blocks). She saw a tray of butlered hor deurves go by one time and she wasn't even get the opportunity to grab something.
Another issue was that the AC unit was leaking onto the guests who were sitting at the table underneath of it. When I came over to greet that table, the people who had been closest to the tent wall under the AC were standing because they were getting wet. That is completely unacceptable, and even if AC units tend to do that (I have no idea), then the tables need to be arranged around that issue.
My last issue is that Mountain Branch threw away my cake topper. Sure it was an inexpensive acrylic set of our initials and a heart, but it was something I wanted to save. And sure I could just order a replacement, but I shouldn't have to.
I think that other than the items I mentioned above, everything ran smoothly, but I also think a lot of that had to do with my coordinator, Briana, from Nouvelle Weddings and Events who did an outstanding job.

They really worked with us as far as getting pictures taken early, very helpful with last minute things. I was very pleased with the venue. My only complaint is that the bathroom is no where near the tent, you have to walk through the bar and restaurant to get to the bathroom...I was in a massive wedding dress trying to cut through a backed bar during an O's play off game, not fun and it was a little hard for the elderly guest, but not a deal breaker. It is a beautiful location too!

in helping to plan our wedding, especially since I was planning the wedding from out of state. The price was commensurate with other comparable venues. Be aware that they have a minimum of 130 guests, which was not a problem for us, but might be for others. My now husband is an avid golfer and he and his groomsmen were able to do a bachelor golf outing, him for free and them for a reduced rate, the day before the wedding. The wedding was PERFECT, thanks largely in part to Kim and the staff at Mountain Branch.

ile we lost out on linens and other nice things it was very intimate and they bent over backward to make everything work as well as possible.;Being aware of unusually bad weather if they wanted it in the tent but knowing Mountain Branch does have a back up which while it may not be as nice everyone was dry which was most important and they did their best to make it as nice as possible. It all worked out and was great.
