Michelle was so easy to work with as we planned our big day! She helped us select all of the fantastic goodies for our dessert bar and set everything up in such a beautiful arrangement. We didn't have anything very specific in mind for setup or cake decorations so we told her to be creative and she did a beautiful job with everything. Our guests raved about the cookies, pie bars, mini-cupcakes and our uniquely flavored but amazingly, delicious blueberry lavender wedding cake. All of the desserts were so yummy and flavorful! I am already scheming for another reason to book some desserts with Michelle.

Michelle was wonderful to work with and was very responsive with us throughout the entire wedding planning process. We went up for a tasting and she had a large variety of flavors for us to try. We wanted a specific design on our cake that was unique and although she had never made one exactly like it, she provided us with some sample sketches and in the end made it happen! It looked beautiful and tased great too. The raspberry pie bars were a crowd favorite. We will definitely work with Michelle at Mountain Cakery if we ever have another event in the Mammoth Lakes area.

Michelle was so helpful during our cake design process, we met for a tasting and she transformed our ideas into a beautiful and tasty wedding cake! We would use her again in a heartbeat...also the RASPBERRY PIE BARS ARE SO GOOD and were a HIT at the wedding!

I'm not sure I'll be able to wait a year to eat the top of our wedding cake, it was SOOOO good!! Michelle is amazing! We absolutely loved working with her for our wedding. We even ended up using Michelle for some desserts for our rehearsal dinner, too. Every flavor we tried during our tasting was mind blowing, and the outcome of our cake blew our minds. It was perfect. Thank you, Michelle!!

Michelle was great to work with! She attended the food tasting at our venue, Double Eagle, and brought so many of her flavors for everyone to try. My husband and I have very different tastes so we wanted to try almost all of the flavors - Michelle was extremely patient with us and very happy to talk through any questions we had. When we requested a quote she was very willing to provide recommendations as we requested them, but she was also more than happy to make as many adjustments as needed when we placed our order. Day of the wedding things could not have been easier. She showed up, set everything up, and slipped out without us even having to check on things. It was very stress-free! The return of the serving trays was also very easy!! It was a quick drop off in Mammoth Lakes two days after our wedding. Thanks, Michelle!

Michelle was great to work with and her desserts are amazing! We loved everything we tried and so did our guests as we had very few leftovers to take home. I wish we ordered more!!

Mountain Cakery has the BEST cake! We were so happy with our dessert bar put on by Michelle. She is such a pleasure to work with. She was willing to put a special cake we wanted to bring from our home out and stage it with the rest of the desserts provided by her. We received numerous compliments on how good our cake tasted, as well as the mini cupcakes so we could provide lots of flavors for guests. We only packed up a slice of cake for our year anniversary and ended up eating half of it because it was so tasty!

Want a cake that’s as delicious as it is beautiful? Look no further. She delivered on EXACTLY what I wanted look wise, but omg does she make killer desserts. We were able to do a tasting, pick from 3 DELICIOUS flavors and then pick our dessert bar from a long list of items. It was everything and more, PLUS she does set up and makes the cake table look beautiful with whatever decor you provide.

Our experience with Mountain Cakery was amazing! When our wedding got rescheduled due to health issues that came with new major dietary restrictions, Michele was flexible enough to switch the date AND talented enough to step up to the challenge of making a delicious cake that still met my new dietary issues. The cake was amazing!!! It was gorgeously presented and tasted delicious. We would love to come back every anniversary and have more cake! I would highly recommend Mountain Cakery for any event in the Mammoth area!

My husband and I met Michelle at a wedding gala in Mammoth and loved her samples so much!! We knew we had to have her make the desserts for our wedding. We decided to have a small sweetheart cake that was a chocolate cake and mocha filling and it was soooo yummy!!!! We also had chocolate covered strawberries, raspberry pie bars, lemon puffs and mini red velvet cupcakes. Everything was so delicious and eaten by the end of the night. Michelle was so professional and easy to work with. We brought our own cake topper and left it at the venue for her to place into the cake...it looked amazing!! You can't go wrong choosing Mountain Cakery for your wedding day!

Michelle is amazing and so easy to work with! Planning a destination wedding in June Lake was stressful enough and she made everything so easy! Always very responsive (to my multiple emails) and very organized. And everything was beautiful and delicious!! Our guests loved how unique (and delicious) our flavors were. I wish I lived closer so I could eat more of her desserts all the time!

Mountain Cakery came highly recommended by our wedding planner who had used them multiple times in the past. We met Michelle at our tasting and she was absolutely wonderful. We opted to do a small cutting cake and then an assortment of mini cupcakes for 220 guests. The presentation at our reception was perfect!!! Everything tasted so amazing that there was nothing left by the end of the evening. Their prices were also incredibly reasonable. We had such a great experience with Mountain Cakery that we used them again for our sons 1st birthday party.

We LOVE working with Cora and her team at Mountain Cakery. As a local event planner, we get to work with many different vendors and we are always thrilled to hear that Cora is part of a wedding or event team. She is easy to work with, always delivers as promised, even over-delivers, and YES makes delicious treats. Cora did such an amazing job! We had a small cake, which tasted incredible! Red Velvet on the bottom and white cake with a fresh berry filling on top. But our main feature at the wedding was pie! We had over a hundred mini pies, each 4" in diameter. Cherry, apple, pumpkin, lemon meringue and mixed berry. All of our guests loved the pies, we had 80 guests and none were left! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for cakes in the Mammoth Lakes area.

Cora at Mountain Cakery made our wedding cake - and it was fantastic. Since we aren’t local to Mammoth, I was originally worried that things would slip through the cracks, but Cora was organized and professional - she answered all of our questions promptly and made it easy for us to plan and coordinate. For the tasting, she met my fiancee and my parents and I at a local coffee shop, where she brought mini cupcakes of the flavors we asked to sample. My fiancee had originally come into the tasting adamantly against fondant, but after tasting Cora’s version, he said it was the best fondant he had ever had and was ok with it on our cake. I had a similar experience - I wasn’t sure that I wanted to have a chocolate part of the cake, but her chocolate cake and salted caramel icing is so good I was won over. Honestly, it was hard to choose our flavors because they were all delicious- we finally decided to have white cake with vanilla creme frosting and of course the chocolate with salted caramel frosting. In addition to her talents as a baker, Cora is also an artist. We had found a few designs online that represented the “mountain wedding” theme we had for our wedding, but none of them were quite what we wanted. With a few low-resolution concept pictures and a few emails back and forth, Cora was able to create a cake that was perfectly in tune with the color and style of the wedding. The end result was classy, beautiful, and tasty! She was even able to accommodate the glass topper that my sister had hand-engraved. The flavors were both popular with the guests, and it was so good we decided to eat it again the next day rather than try to save any! I highly recommend Cora’s Mountain Cakery and plan to come back in a year to get a 1 year anniversary cake!
