Mountain Crust Event Venue

hat we had always dreamed of. From day one, the Mountain Crust team went out of their way to ensure we had the most amazing day ever. Leading up to the event, the team was constantly in contact with us to ensure we had every detail planned and prepared. As with any event, last minute changes are inevitable but the Mountain Crust team was always there to help us with the planning and execution. Fast forward to the day of, and I wish I could say how many times I thought "this is the most perfect day ever." The Love Shack getting ready suite was a perfect place for the Bride to get dressed, and be removed from the stress of the day. When I say stress, I should emphasize that the Mountain Crust team removed every bit of concern or stress we had - and it was just the stress of standing up infant of a bunch of friends and family and having the most epic party. After our ceremony on the lawn, the Mountain Crust team went to work - pouring hundreds of drinks, serving hundreds of pizzas and ensuring our guests were always taken care of to the highest standard. The Mountain Crust team truly made the difference between a "good" night or a "good" venue and one that us, nor or guests, will ever forget for the rest of our lives. If you are considering a backyard wedding, a reception -  or even just a fun event, we cannot recommend the Mountain Crust team higher.

cial. We met with Nico, and immediately felt welcomed, supported, and completely at ease. Unlike other venues where we felt judged or out of place, Mountain Crust made us feel like our wedding belonged there. Nico answered every single one of our (many!) questions with patience, humor, and enthusiasm. We left that tour not just laughing, but excited — something no other venue had made us feel. Over the next year, Nico continued to be an incredible resource, answering every worry or last-minute thought with calm, confident support. Planning with them was a dream. The Day Before & Day Of: When we dropped off our wedding items the day before, everything was so smooth and easy. They even had cool storage to keep our fresh flowers looking perfect. And then the big day arrived. The LOVE SHACK was the perfect place to get ready — cozy, beautiful, with breathtaking views — and the Mountain Crust team checked in on us regularly. We felt truly cared for, not just logistically but personally. Even though they were working nonstop behind the scenes, they always made time for us. Nico is a rockstar. She orchestrated everything seamlessly while radiating calm and kindness. When a third-party vendor ran behind, Nico discreetly handled the issue without ever worrying us — even grabbing my phone, asking for my passcode, and handling the situation with a smile. I didn’t find out until much later — because that’s how good she is at what she does. Food & Staff: We had several guests with serious gluten and dairy allergies. Mountain Crust staff proactively found them, spoke with them personally, and ensured their meals were safe. And beyond being allergy-aware, the food was amazing. Guests were going back for seconds — even thirds! But what everyone keeps talking about? The staff. We’ve received so many compliments about the venue, but the most consistent praise is for the Mountain Crust crew. People kept saying how incredibly kind, accommodating, and joyful everyone was. Honestly, they made the day feel effortless and fun — and we know working weddings is no easy task. For a year, we daydreamed about how our wedding would turn out — and it ended up being more than we could’ve imagined. Mountain Crust created an environment where love, joy, and community could thrive. Yes, it was our people who made it magical — as Nico told us the next day — but it wouldn’t have been the same without the care, passion, and energy of the Mountain Crust team. There are plenty of wedding venues in Denver. I’ve been to many. But nothing compares to Mountain Crust — the vibe is unmatched. And beyond that, if we ever need catering in the future, Mountain Crust will be our first call. They bring the same energy wherever they go. I wish I could bottle the feeling of that night and open it whenever I need a pick-me-up. ppen. I am so grateful for our experience with Mountain Crust Pizza. The Great: 1. The Staff – they are kind and had had fun with us! They communicated with our guests, they were always willing to help and went above and beyond at every step!! Standout employees from our event were Janae (our day of coordinator and one of the most organized and detailed humans), Spencer (upstairs Bartender and someone multiple guests called out saying how kind he was and how wonderful his drinks were) and Ryan (Owner and just sunshine in a human). 2. The food and drinks – I mean what else do your guests want?! BEST PIZZA AND UNLIMITED FOR 3HRS??? All of our guests left full and satisfied and HAPPY! 3. They do everything – day of coordinator, place to get ready, serve food, great bartenders, tables/chairs/napkins, etc. They even gave us great recommendations for Vendors. We booked one of Mountain Crust preferred DJ’s - Alysia the owner of Moonlit Entertainment Co and she was incredible! She listened and tailored the music to our guests and us. We had such a good time with Alysia! 4. Environmentally friendly – they compost and are nearly zero waste! Which also means real napkins, real plates, real silverware!!! 5. Loveshack – what a truly beautiful and perfectly casual spot to get ready in the morning. It is decorated so nicely but so incredibly comfortable. We had a group of 12 + vendors and we didn’t feel crowded! The Bad: LITERALLY NOTHING! I have no constructive criticism to offer.

as quick to resolve any questions or issues we ran into, and is overall just an incredible human! And it was so helpful to have someone on wedding day help guide us through the day to make sure we were staying on our timeline and making sure we were able to get to everything we wanted. The packages they offer are very reasonably priced, and made it super convenient to be able to have only one vendor that covers all of the food & drinks & venue in one place. The entire staff was so fun & helpful! They were partying & celebrating with us all night while making sure we had anything we could possibly need. They also set up all of the decorations & convert the space from ceremony to dinner on their own, which was amazing to not have to worry about. We also used the Love Shack as the girl’s getting ready space for the morning - and it was truly perfect in every way! It was stocked with literally everything we could need, and the vibes were just so cozy and comfy. It was nice that it was kind of closed off from the rest of the venue to give a space to get ready in away from the rest of the chaos of wedding day. Overall, I couldn’t have had our wedding day go any smoother & I couldn’t say enough good things about this place & all the people who work there!

ith amazing sunset views from the rooftop bar. The ceremony site feels extra special as you are under the shade of a large tree. Finally at night, the outdoor reception space feels magical under twinkly lights. Getting married at Mountain Crust truly felt like a dream! Additionally the staff and service were incredible. The planning team was very communicative throughout the process and the staff the night of our wedding were very friendly. My guests spoke so highly of the service from the catering and bar staff and they were extra attentive to my partner and I. Huge shoutout to Ryan that kept the party going all night long with a great sense of humor and dance floor pizza. Finally, after looking at a variety of venues, my partner and I felt that the pricing at Mountain Crust was the most fair, especially given the large space and variety Mountain Crust offers. We love this venue, the staff and the food so much we plan to return to events they host! Run, don’t walk, to get married at this unique venue.

We saw Mountain Crust Event Venue and knew instantly it was the perfect place for us. A beautiful backyard setting, twinkly lights, fun staff, and PIZZA, how could we go wrong? All the guests raved about how good the pizza, venue, and staff were. We were so well taken care of from the beginning of the booking process to getting the decor packed up that night. I’m a very laid back bride that didn’t want to make a ton of decisions or be in charge of anything come the day of and Janae just flowed right with me and made sure everything was taken care of! Would highly recommend this venue for your wedding or event!

deck area has amazing views of the mountains. The backyard has plenty of lighting for when the sun goes down and you want to dance or play lawn games or have a mini concert like we did. There are speakers all over the venue if you want to play your own music. Nico was very responsive to any questions we had leading up to our event and provided us with some great suggestions. The staff is super friendly and efficient and knows how to make a delicious pizza! (I highly recommend their in-house catering as well!) You can tell that the staff loves what they do and really made myself, my husband, and our guests feel at home. I wish I could get married every year and throw a party at Mountain Crust!

There truly aren't enough wonderful things I could write about this venue and the staff to do it justice - I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome place to host their wedding or event. - The venue itself is spectacular, they have done such a great job renovating the space. Our guests kept raving about how much they loved it. The team is also so flexible to almost any request, we brought in the Sweet Cow ice cream truck for dessert and it was such a hit. - The pizza is incredible, so delicious and they have the process down to a science for distributing it to all the guests. We had about 100 people and the line moved really efficiently and they never ran out of food. Also 10/10 recommend having the bride and groom put on aprons to make the first pizzas! We did this in place of having a cake and it was such a fun new tradition. All our guests loved the moment and it was such a fun photo session as well. - We loved how much we could personalize the alcohol that was available - we are big beer drinkers, so it was important for us to have some unique brews available and the MC team definitely made it happen. - If you have a dog that you treat like a human child, then this is definitely the venue for you! They are SO dog friendly and it was so special for us to have our fur baby with us the entire night. She loved the space and had a great time partying with everybody. - And lastly, but certainly not least, the team itself at Mountain Crust is FANTASTIC. They truly are what make every event so special and unique. They all have such an awesome energy and are upbeat throughout the entire event, often joining out on the dance floor! They also successfully completed every request I had, the transition of the ceremony space to reception/dance floor was flawless. Nico is also awesome to work with, she was so responsive to all my emails and silly little questions. She welcomed us into the venue a handful of times to do walk throughs in advance and was so reliable day of. Definitely could not have asked for a better venue manager/event coordinator. I wish we could host an event here every single year, it was so awesome and will forever hold some special memories for us and our guests :) Definitely book Mountain Crust ASAP!
