Mountain Field Farm is a farm-style wedding venue located in Palmer, AK. It is only 32 miles from Anchorage, perfect for traveling out-of-town guests. This property has a long and interesting history dating back to 1935. The current owner, Sarah Phipps family purchased and homesteaded the land in 1967 after it had been abandoned for over a decade. In nearly half a century, this unique destination has been used in various ways depending on the necessity of its operators. Today, it runs as a flower farm, Air BnB, and enchanting wedding venue. On the morning of your big day, you and your party can prepare at Mountain Field Farm’s private get-ready rooms. Once your guests have arrived, you can make your way to the ceremony site outside. Here, breathtaking mountain scenery and meadows of wildflowers will be your backdrop as you exchange vows with your significant other. Receptions are held in the wedding tent, a large event space that can comfortably accommodate up to 150 people. There is room for your vendors as well as yard games. Cozy up at the fire pit as the celebrations continue long into the night. When everyone is ready to retire, you and your newlywed spouse can take refuge in the lavish on-site barn. This historic building was renovated into a fully-equipped honeymoon suite. Mountain Field Farm welcomes outside vendors, especially the caterers of your choice. There is alternative lodging option, the courtyard cottage. The venue welcomes the presence of your furry friends.
