There are no words to describe how amazing Melody and her staff truly are - Mountain Laurel is not just a venue, it is where dreams come true! Melody did an AMAZING job every step of the way! To say I am a type A personality, OCD bride is putting it very lightly - Melody handled my craziness with the utmost professionalism and perfection. She is the nicest woman ever - I actually have invited her to my house several times since we met (she hasn't taken me up on it yet, but she knows she is always welcome here). We decided to do the "all inclusive" package - Melody's recommendations for vendors were spot on every time! The one vendor we had an issue with, Melody took care of for us with grace and is no longer working with that vendor. She truly listens to her brides' requests and concerns. There were so many details that Melody thought of that I would never have remembered and took care of it before I could even worry about it. I recommend Mountain Laurel Farm to everyone for every occasion - weddings or other events or just overnight at the B&B. My mom and I also stayed one night at her B&B before the wedding when we went up to Cleveland to do hair and makeup trials. I recommend this to all brides! You really get to enjoy the farm before the craziness of your big day. Melody, I can't put into words how much I love you! You are an amazing woman and you made my day PERFECT! These words just don't do it justice.

My fiance and I fell in love with Mountain Laurel Farm & we just KNEW this was the venue we wanted to get married at! We just got married here on June 4th 2016 and everything was absolutely perfect!! Melody (the owner) is phenominal & so helpful, organized, friendly & accomodating along with the rest of the staff. This venue has everything; a beautiful historic barn that is so spacious, breath taking mountain views & a gorgeous farmhouse on site as well! It also has a cute garden & a pasture which is great for pictures! It is every southern venue in one! There are multiple different ceremony locations & great rain plans as well. It has terrific accomodations on site for your bridal party/family in the beautiful farmhouse as well as in a cute cottage which is so convinent. Melody has a great inventory of decor for use as well. You can also bring your own vendors which is AMAZING & helps costs so much but she provides a list of preferred vendors & all of them are great in every aspect if you need some suggestions. Everything at the venue is practically ready for your wedding, the only thing needed are a few personal touches of decor and it is ready to go. Tables & chairs for 200 are already there which is wonderful to not have to rent them as well! Melody also allows for you to have your rehersal & rehersal dinner at the farm which is great too. In the package a day of coordinator was also included which was a ton of help & a huge relief. She meet with us 30 days prior to go over our floor plan & any questions we had & was there for the rehersal & the day of & made everything go so timely. We had rain on my wedding day on & off & Melody & her team worked so hard to make everything perfect for us so that we could do it outside like we wanted and it was a fairytale wedding because of all of their efforts. I really can't say enough about this beautiful venue & the staff here! This is the venue that makes for fairy tale weddings & booking your wedding here is the best decision you'll make in the entire wedding planning process that you don't need to think twice about. My family and friends are STILL talking about how beautiful it was and how it was the best and most fun wedding they had ever been to. What a WONDERFUL experience we had at Mountain Laurel Farm. I think I looked at every wedding venue and B&B in the state of Georgia before we booked there and I'm so glad we did. From start to finish, they made sure we were taken care of. We had some extenuating circumstances and they went out of their way to make everything wonderful and special, and completely accommodated us. The entire weekend was a dream. It's such a unique place because they have so much there - the barn, the outdoor areas, the B&B, and a really special "glamping loft", which they fixed up with candles and flowers for us. It's beautiful and rustic and inviting. Everyone that came hasn't stopped raving about it. I can't speak highly enough about Mountain Laurel Farm!

After looking at a number of sites we fell in love with Mountain Laurel Farm right away. I put down a deposit the same day I got a tour. Melody was always so friendly, which is really important with the stress of wedding planning. Our wedding day had perfect weather which really highlighted the beauty of the property. We had a larger wedding party, around 180 guests, the venue seemed to still accommodate that size well, although we did rent a tent for half our guests to dine under. There really are few places like Mountain Laurel Farm. I believe it is over 100 years old and comes with so much character that is hard to find. It has a elegant yet down to earth feel to it. There are amazing picture opportunities all around the farm. We did get some discounted rates which made the value of the venue well worth it to us. Melody was very easy to work with, helped us whenever we needed it, and always had a smile. I highly recommend this venue if you want a beautiful mountain/farm location. The only thing to beware of is if you have a guest list over 100 people you will need to rent a tent to serve as a rain plan.
