We were recommended Laura’s service through Diana Deane (who made my wedding dress) and could not have been happier with the florals. My vision was to have very organic greenery to make it feel like the outside was taking over the small venue. Laura and her team nailed it! Many of our guests commented on the uniqueness of the flowers and greenery, especially since we did not have any of the traditional things like bridal bouquets. I was blown away by her ability to treat the florals as an art medium and create something so special. Beyond the fabulous work she did, Laura is just a pleasure to work with. She took me to the flower market and discussed all the things that would be in season during our wedding. She also prioritized any florals I really wanted to include which I really appreciated. Overall she’s a 10/10!

As a wedding planner, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Laura personally and seeing her artistry firsthand. When it came to my own wedding, I knew I could trust her to create pure magic. I gave her minimal direction (just some colors and blooms I liked) and from that she designed an ethereal and dreamy environment that was beyond anything I’ve ever seen in all my years of being immersed in weddings. Laura is amazing!! My husband and I knew we wanted a unique floral approach and gave her a couple directional ideas, but Laura was able to run with those few thoughts and exceed all our expectations!!! My daughter was married at Allan House on October 7. She had a very specific floral aesthetic-“no flower balls”. She wanted the boutonnières, welcome sign, bouquet, table arrangements-ALL, to have a free form design, balanced yet unique. That’s exactly what Laura delivered. Her work is pure artistry. We couldn’t have been more pleased. We still have guests complimenting the floral.

Laura is a floral GODDESS whose work is stunning! I don’t know much about flowers, so aside from my color palette I gave Laura full creative independence with my wedding florals. She FAR exceeded my expectations. Her style is so unique, whimsical, and inviting. You see one piece and just want more! Guests could not stop raving about her work. From the welcome sign to the seating chart, my bouquet to the boutonnieres, and everything in between– the details were so well-executed. I had three different linens for guest tables and wanted different centerpieces for each linen. Laura took that challenge and produced absolute GOLD. But the one piece that will forever stand out in my memories is the ombre “arch.” I wanted something a little less traditional, but very full and organic. The masterpiece she created was pure perfection and it was the dreamiest place I could have ever imagined saying my vows. Leading up to my wedding, I showed her a few inspirational photos. She took my vision and executed it beyond anything I could have imagined. Her use of traditional and non-traditional botanicals was playful, colorful and tastefully chosen. From my bouquet and arch flowers to the table centerpieces, her arrangements elevated our ceremony/reception space to another level. Working with Laura was such a wonderful experience and the arrangements she created for our wedding weekend were truly stunning—we received so many compliments on the florals throughout the day. I cannot say enough nice things about Laura! I tell everyone I know about her work, and people are still talking about the florals from the wedding. First, I felt she truly cared and was excited about executing our vision for the big day. She invited me to go to Austin Flower Co to look at different blooms and get a closer idea of which colors I’d like to see. Secondly, her attention to detail is unmatched. I cannot say enough about Laura - her talent, her artisanship, her professionalism. We used Mountain Laurel Floral for our wedding, and she was definitely one of the best decisions that we made. She is SO talented with an incredible eye for beauty and precision. We had a very soft idea of what we wanted in terms of our florals, but were totally mindblown when she showed us a preview of what she envisioned for our wedding. (And she 100% executed that vision). Her work is whimsical but refined, trendy but timeless. We absolutely loved the flowers that she used, and loved that she incorporated the fruit (that we asked for) in our centerpieces. We obviously loved what she made for our wedding, but all of her work is incredible. (I still scroll through her instagram feed to look at beautiful things and get stress relief). Cannot wait for another opportunity to work with her.

Laura is stellar! I recently worked with her for florals for my wedding and she went above and beyond and made the florals my favorite part of the entire day. I went into the wedding planning/floral design process with zero clue what we wanted besides knowing we really liked greenery and wanted to make sure we were being as sustainable as possible. She listened to us and had so many great ideas on how we could achieve those goals. About a month and a half before our wedding, she shared an idea she had for adding a bit more floral to the reception space with a ceiling installation and what we ended up with was breathtaking (literally had cactus pieces hanging from the ceiling...it was SO COOL). Her creativity blew me away and was so perfectly our style and fit our venue's vibes. I couldn't have imagined a better floral design for our wedding and owe her so many thanks for lending us her creativity and making our weddings beautiful.

Highly recommend Laura!! Her work was beautiful at our wedding. Our stage façade flowers really brought the whole room together and made a gorgeous backdrop for the dance floor. She was also a dream to work with through the planning process including several changes we wanted to make to the plan as we went along.

Laura did absolutely stunning work, using her creativity and eye to design fresh bouquets and centerpieces for our wedding. She was very easy to work with during a long delayed wedding due to the pandemic. We changed our venue and date 3 times and she stayed lock step with us, reconfiguring the design as the table formations were altered and the dining room tables were brought from inside to outside. She was honest with us with the cost and labor when we were toying around with hanging greenery on the tent rafters and we ultimately decided to put the budget elsewhere. Her and her team were total pros, super easy to work with, highly responsive, and have creative designs that will be noticed. Laura's floral work was some of the favorite things about our wedding, so much so, that we preserved my bridal bouquet and the boutonnière so that we'll have it forever.

I had tons of phenomenal vendors at my wedding, but Laura TOOK. THE. CAKE. She was recommended to my via my planner, and I'm so thankful. The flowers were very important to me, so I spent a lot of time talking with Laura, sending inspo photos, talking colors, etc. I wanted alllllll the color for my springtime wedding, without it looking cheap or childish. After looking a my inspo photos and submitting a plan, we went to the wholesale florist together and she basically took note of every flower I loved, and suggested pairings. She wasn't afraid of my funky style, and totally embraced it and made it better. I teared up when she gave my my bouquet and I finally got to see all her work. She did a beautiful installation at the front of Woodbine Mansion, which was the STAR of all the photos since that's where we did our first dances and toasts. I'm so thankful she suggested that we add that extra touch.

I cannot speak highly enough of Laura and Mountain Laurel Floral! She took my crazy, sorta kind of hard to explain vision and took it to another level! The florals were everything I could’ve ever dreamed. I feel like I had ideas that were probably a little further than the standard ask and she did it all. Every single centerpiece was unique. I cannot say enough about Laura's talent and artistry. We hired Mt. Laurel pre-pandemic in early 2020 for our November 2020 wedding - which ended up getting postponed until November 2021. She was so flexible and gracious throughout the postponement process, which was incredibly appreciated. When it came time to start back up with planning, she was super responsive and communicative. I love her style and her work so much (which she does a great job showcasing on Instagram) that I completely trusted her expertise and vision for our wedding. I really feel that she understood our vibe and what we were going for. My bridal bouquet was one of the most beautiful arrangements I've ever seen and the rest of our florals were executed to perfection as well. I work in the event industry and have worked with a number of florists for various needs, but Laura is one of the most talented florists I've worked with and I would recommend her every time - can't wait to work with her again in any capacity! We hired Laura and her team to provide florals at my son's rehearsal dinner to compliment the plan she had for his and my (now!) DIL's next day wedding. Laurel is incredible to say the least! We were able to sit back and let her take the reigns on the artistic vision and it did not disappoint. Multiple of my bridesmaids commented on how the bouquets were their favorite wedding flowers they had ever seen! Moving on to the rest of the decorations for the wedding, she did such an incredible job bringing to life exactly what I dreamed of and making a beautiful statement with every piece. Laura was amazing to work with - she is personable, intuitive and obviously amazing with florals. I LOVED working with Laura! In our experience - she sourced strange blooms for us and spent months drying out flowers to bring different textures to our design. Laura and her flowers = AWESOME. I had a very non-traditional destination wedding in Big Bend National Park. It was also a pretty short notice affair. After a short conversation, Laura created a wonderful pinterest board for approval, and took things from there. We needed the flowers delivered to our residence in Austin the night before Valentine's day (Wednesday) ready for 8 hours of transport. Everything arrived right on time and ready to roll. After a very long drive on Thursday, the flowers were still in perfect condition for our Saturday wedding. They were absolutely beautiful and perfectly suited the wedding style/vibe. Laura is extremely talented and easy to work with. I HIGHLY recommend her.

What a fabulous experience it was to work with Laura! She took my daughter's vision and made it everything she could have dreamed of. What I loved, as well, was Laura's professionalism with a smile. I cannot begin to describe how amazing Laura is, but here’s to me trying...Laura has been such a pleasure working with, she is consistent, replies within a timely manner, is there for advice and guidance and so so personable! It was like talking to an old friend when talking to her. She made the whole process of flowers so easy and she truly cares. It was so refreshing being a bride and having one less thing to worry about knowing she knew what I wanted and was there to execute it FLAWLESSLY (mind you she is a little over 8 months pregnant during my wedding process). If I could describe everything that I would have expected from a florist for our wedding, Laura went well beyond. She was so thoughtful to meet with me before the wedding to learn about what my vision was for our flowers. She spent a lot of time asking questions and sharing some of her inspirations to see which ones I liked. It was very evident how much she wanted her work to honor me and my husband and be something that was memorable and that we enjoyed. She followed up several times with different ideas about alter flowers and checking in to make sure that we were happy with everything. She also planned with me how the decorating would go on the day of, so that the day of the wedding I was completely unstressed about it. I had so much fun the morning of my wedding, and a big part of that was that Laura had worked with me before to come up with a decorating plan. When she brought the flowers back to the room we were getting ready in, they were so beautiful that I literally teared up! They were better than I had imagined. I loved the boutonnieres that the groomsmen where wearing as well! She did such a beautiful job decorating the church and the reception hall with flowers! My whole family was so pleased with her. I highly highly recommend her to anyone who is planning a wedding or event that needs flowers. She is so caring and thoughtful and so reasonably priced. I could not have asked for better :)

Laura went above and beyond for our wedding; she would send pinterest boards full of ideas, meet up with my mom and I during venue meetings, and was very quick with communication via email/phone. I got married over a year ago and have STILL have so many good things to say about Mountain Laurel Floral, which should tell you how much of an impact my flowers left on my wedding day. I wanted the theme of my wedding flowers to simply be "wildflowers" - Laura took that and ran with it. I still dream of my bouquet, with a gorgeous sunflower that drew the attention of many. I even got a professional painting done of it to hang on my bedroom wall, again, that should tell you how amazing of a job was done by Laura. Laura created boutonnieres, corsages, bouquets in hanging buckets, glass bottles filled with flowers, and even a bouquet for me to toss! Every single detail was incredible. Everything was so bright and beautiful. Not only was everything about the flowers absolutely perfect, but Laura was so helpful along the way; she was attentive to what I wanted, offered suggestions, and I knew I didn't have to worry about a thing when the morning of my wedding rolled around.
