What a beautiful place!! I travelled 8,000 miles to be with the man I love. I didn't know what to expect trying to plan a wedding in another country, however Mountain Laurel Haven was exactly the right place to have my wedding. I am the luckiest bride ever because I got to experience this beautiful hill country wedding, in the perfect setting.

On thé day after Valentine’s I attended a friend’s wedding at a new venue called Mountain Laurel Haven. I just have to comment because it was such a lovely place that it inspired me to think about having my own wedding there someday. The pergola overlooking the valley provided a dramatic backdrop for photos and the white chairs on the lawn made for a striking contrast amid all the greenery. I had forgotten how fresh the air can be as sweet cedar and mountain laurel scents drifted by. It was fascinating to hear the breezes move up the mountainside through the forest. The bride chose non-traditional music which I found refreshingly creative. And everyone seemed rejuvenated after leaving the city for such a nostalgic experience. The home at the venue was very welcoming and was filled with impressive paintings by the owner who is a renowned San Antonio artist. That made it even more special to me.

What a beautiful property for a beautiful day for me and my bride. We had a micro wedding of about 30 people and it was just right. Not overwhelming but a sweet, intimate environment with the rolling hills of the Texas hill country right behind us while taking our vows. I highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a great experience.
