Their professionalism and dedication made our wedding day unforgettable. We highly recommend the Mountain Lodge to anyone looking for a beautiful and seamless wedding experience.

ag for ice. When we woke up the next morning the water was dirty. This was not the only guest hurt. Another guest eating in their restaurant had a chair collapse under them. They ended up with bruises all over their legs. The venue is falling apart. When we got there the cabin was filthy. It smelled of dust and had bodily fluid all over the walls in the bathroom. The staff was rude. One even hung up on my sister after they gave her a concussion when she asked for a bell hop to help with bags. The food was a mess as they have a new chef and wouldn’t let us do a second tasting. My husband is a chef and the food was the most important thing. They served the wrong appetizers and the beef was without exaggeration the driest piece of meat I’ve ever had. I couldn’t even swallow it. I have more to say, but the gist is they are not a venue I would recommend. They forgave the rest of our alcohol bill as a sign of good faith so I’ll mention that but there is no way 68 people drank $7.5k worth of alcohol in 6 hours. That would be 11 drinks+ per person so we believe they padded the bill. It took them almost two weeks to send a bill or even address the issues. I was told my wedding would be a “training experience” for their team. My wedding was ruined and I have nothing positive to say about this establishment.

Our day was in the perfect hands, and we were able to step back and enjoy it as one of our guests rather than as a host because Kaitlyn and Amna took care of everything.

or, Kaitlyn, to the execution of these details with her and their staff, there was not one thing that went wrong throughout the entire process! Every time I hesitated to ask a question because I thought it sounded like an unreasonable request, Kaitlyn and her team said quite the opposite and made it happen! All the staff at the lodge were extremely friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay memorable in the best way. We are incredibly grateful that we were able to have all of our events (rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception) at their site as we were out-of-town guests but felt completely at home. Very clean, very responsive, and very reasonably priced with unmatched views! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to elope in the Telluride, Colorado area!

ue to not feel like we were in this huge space-- it was cozy, perfect amount of room, and all our guests were able to stay at the Lodge too which made it so special to have everyone in one place the entire weekend. We rented out all spaces so we could have our ceremony on the ski hill, cocktail hour out by the pool (all though it ended up pouring during our ceremony so needed to move cocktail hour inside!), dinner in the View, and then after party out by the pool where we had s'mores, hired an ice cream truck and some people even went swimming! It was so special and loved how it all came together. Pricing also very reasonable.

The wedding party and most of our guest chose to stay at the Mountain Lodge cabins and condos during wedding weekend. The open floor plan, deck, and beautiful views of the San Joaquin and See Forever cabins made for an excellent location for the bridal party to get ready. Many of our guest raved about how comfortable their cabins were and their beautiful views. The on site restaurant, The View, prepared very good breakfast and lunch available to our guest and the wedding reception meal was delicious. Mountain Lodge shuttle was a great way for the wedding party and guest to get around Mountain Village and the free gondola, within a very short walk of the lodge, was a highlight of wedding day and provided transportation to our ceremony site. The Lodge and pool deck was the most beautiful reception area with its rustic look and most amazing views of the mountains and fall colors. The staff went out of their way to make wedding week and our special day absolutely amazing. We highly recommend Mountain Lodge Telluride as your wedding lodging and reception venue!!!

and the outdoor pool deck area for 50 guests, and it was the perfect setting for the evening. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the view was, how amazing the dinner was, etc. Kaitlyn James and Sam Barnes are both delights to work with, making sure all of our questions were answered and everything was prepared properly. Truthfully, this was the best experience possible for us and I wouldn't have changed a thing. Plus, we just love staying at the lodge whenever we come back to visit Telluride. A must book!

bin with our family at The Mountain Lodge, and the groom's family stayed in one as well. They were gorgeous, clean, spacious, and comfortable. Other wedding invitees stayed in rooms on site, which they also liked. The staff was welcoming, helpful, pleasant, and very friendly. The wedding rehearsal was catered by the facility and held in a cabin. Everything was delicious and well organized. It was all setup when we returned from the Church rehearsal and cleaned up by the staff afterwards. Kaitlyn, Event Coordinator from the Mountain Lodge, coordinated everything and did an outstanding job. The wedding dinner/reception was in Mount Emma, a room at the Mountain Lodge, and all was setup to perfection. Since our party had grown over time, Kaitlyn suggested the bar be setup right outside the doorway so we were sure to have enough room and no one was disturbed by someone getting a drink. It was the best idea. The appetizers and dinner were off the charts. The dessert, drinks, and dancing were outside on the Grassy Knoll patio with gorgeous views of the mountains. The facility provided speakers so a playlist could be played. The Mountain Lodge setup the bar and dessert table so all we had to do was show up after dinner and have fun. The next day they had everything broken down and saved our boxes so we could take the flowers, as requested. The facility has a shuttle to the market or to Mountain Village where a Gondola can be taken to town or if you just want to stay and shop, eat, or enjoy the Village. The facility gives you a card so you can call the facility to have a shuttle pick you up after your adventures and return you to the Mountain Lodge. Kaitlyn provided a name of a local photographer, Sam, who was spectacular. Sam did a walk-through the day before the wedding so she had an idea of the layout of the land, plus get input from the Bride and Groom so it was exactly what they wanted or acceptable modifications could be made if needed. Sam had such great ideas and picture taking as the party walked from the Church to the Gondola and to take pictures at the top of the mountain. Sam was just the BEST! The wedding weekend was everything that my daughter and now son-in-law had dreamed and hoped for. The guests loved using the hot tub, pool, restaurant, and workout room as well! A perfect spot, just a Gondola ride away from the Town of Telluride, which was such a picturesque way to travel....in day or night! I know guests will be returning as they had the greatest experience and the time of their lives! Thank you Mountain Lodge Staff and Event Planners...Kaitlyn and Sam! The food from the Market was delicious as well. One night my sister cooked steaks with sides. Everyone loved it. The Sheraton in Telluride is a nice spot, Hotel Telluride for drinks, as well as the Butcher and the Baker for a bite to eat (Reception Cakes from there that ALL loved!). There are so many nice shops in Telluride, but Hook Telluride especially stands out...very friendly and helpful. Thanks Kaitlyn and Sam for helping us plan such a wonderful Wedding weekend. It was the BEST.

The Lodge’s dinning room is converted into the reception venue which is a very beautiful log cabin feel where we had a delicious buffet dinner. After dinner the staff moved the tables to open up the dance floor. Kaitlyn worked with us to make sure that the father/daughter dance video and family pictures would play on the big screen TV. Kaitlyn and Sam were very supportive through the year long planning process and also during the wedding day. They were both very responsive to all of our questions and requests. We had many phone calls to discuss the details and they always gave us the confidence that it would be a beautiful wedding and it was. We had so many people tell us that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Most of the wedding party and guests stayed at the Lodge and were very happy with the accommodations. We were lucky enough to stay in a cabin which was very useful for the bride’s party to get ready and have pictures taken. I can’t say enough about how much we appreciated having the cabin as we also hosted a “meet-and-greet” the night before the wedding so we could thank everyone that made the trip to Colorado for the wedding. Overall we were very happy and would highly recommend this venue for a gorgeous and well coordinated wedding!

The wedding ceremony and reception were everything we dreamed it would be. The view was amazing and again the staff made sure all of the details were taken care of and the night was SO fun! able to accommodate our guest count perfectly. We had a seated dinner, with 30 guests seated outside, and the rest inside. The venue itself, the views, the staff, and the food were all incredible. The staff at Mountain Lodge went above and beyond every expectation we had. Sam and Kaitlyn (who are the main wedding / event coordinators) were amazing to work with, and made the whole experience for us. We exchanged countless emails/text messages, and were able to meet with them in person multiple times for tastings and planning sessions. They did everything they possibly could to meet our wants/needs for our wedding day. They went out of their way to bring in specific alcohol we requested, allowed us to add lighting to the pool deck and decorate the pool with flowers, and basically accommodated every request we had. They were always quick to respond to our countless questions, professional, extremely patient, and fun to work with every step of the way. They were also always willing to get creative with us to make sure that our desires were met without exceeding our budget. With the rapidly evolving COVID situation, they always stayed positive and kept us informed about whatever changes were happening in the county. On our wedding day, the staff at Mountain Lodge made us feel like royalty, and all of our guests could not have had a better time. There was never a line at the bar, or an empty drink, and the staff converted the outdoor dinner party to a dance floor seamlessly. The food was delicious, and they were even able to accommodate food allergies/intolerances for our wedding guests. Lastly the views - the views just speak for themselves. It was incredible to eat dinner outside just soaking in the beauty of the San Juans, and all of our guests inside were in awe of their dinner views as well. Additionally, many of our guests stayed at the hotel, and all were very happy with their accommodations. It was also very nice for them to be able to run to their rooms if they forgot something. All in all, the Mountain Lodge is an incredible place to get married and I would do it all over again if I could. They did everything in their power to create and execute our dream wedding day, and we couldn’t recommend this venue more!

beauty! I was expecting something on my wedding day to go wrong but it was absolutely perfect thanks to Sam and Kaitlyn. Sam and Kaitlyn were great at communicating leading up to the wedding, answering all of our questions. They were able to implement changing COVID guidelines at the last minute to maximize our enjoyment while also staying safe. The staff was extremely accommodating to our guest throughout our stay. We could not ask for anything better and look forward to staying here in the future!

dding reception here if your guest count is around 65 people. The view from the reception area is amazing and makes you feel like a true mountain reception. It was also so easy to get around the village and get down to Telluride using the near-by free gondolas. My family from out of town also loved their stay. Such a good value!!

, our group coordinator made sure that we and our guests had everything we needed. They were so accommodating with changes around COVID, and ensuring that we made the most of the restrictions. The food was TO DIE FOR!! Most of our guests said this was the best wedding food they'd ever had! The only concern we had was that parking in the resort was a little chaotic. However the Lodge did what was needed to make it right by everyone by valeting cars for us. We've worked with Sam over a year, due to the COVID postponement, and when friends were losing money from their venues by postponing events, the Lodge honored all agreements (even in an "upgraded date"). The views from this resort were amazing! Our wedding was on the pool deck, overlooking Mt Sneffles, and I couldn't have asked for a more scenic backdrop for our photos! I would happily recommend the Lodge as your venue for overall experience, value, views, food and accommodations!

is no AC so some guest were very confused lol, but everyone agreed it was not an issue. The weather is so great in Telluride you don't need it.
